Game Related Discussions / So we have a new KG, Mokuton....

So we have a new KG, Mokuton. Question, will they still be a Hyouton KG? If so, would it be okay to reset into Mokuton while I wait for the release of Hyouton KG?

Feature Requests / Warehouse
« on: June 14, 2010, 10:22:14 PM »
Okay I was thinking about a storage room for items but I was sure this idea came up before and it did here: http://forum.shinobilegends.com/index.php/topic,2293.0.html

Problem was that in order to gain the warehouse (as what I like to call it), we would lose the ability to have unlimited amount of items stored in possession.
I would like to revise this idea.

You have to buy a warehouse and it will cost the same amount as a castle (200 Gems, 200,000 Gold). Once you obtain the warehouse, you lose the ability to hold unlimited amount of items. The warehouse and your character can each only store up to 10 DIFFERENT items (allowing the storage of duplicates, even if the max has been reached). My main concern for this for now is when buying an elixir (or 2). Should it replace one of the items or should it have a section of its own?

Feature Requests / Chakra Seal
« on: June 07, 2010, 06:27:10 PM »
I would like a feature where it's suppose to seal away your chakra. Like how you "seal" away your mount so that you wont use up its rounds. I want to seal up the chakra so that I wont accidentally use any jutsus when I'm trying to quickly finish most of my turns or until I get to a certain level.

Also I want to request for a "Search suicidally (till the end)" option. I remember reading a thread about this long ago and it seems that the main reason this wasnt implemented was to prevent ppl from killing themselves. I honestly think that's a weak excuse since ppl can simply click "Search suicidally", then click "Until the end" and then they die. I mean it's only a one-click difference and there's other ways to kill yourself anyway in this game.
I'm requesting this so I can level up faster without wasting an additional round on jutsu moves that last for more than 1 round. It would save time and chakra.

Spam / Who in SL can read Kanji?
« on: October 07, 2009, 01:40:51 AM »
The reason I am asking is that I'm really curious to find out what the kanji from this link means:

http://www.onemanga.com/Samurai_Deeper_Kyo/197/12-13/

I'm referring to the kanjis on the right side of the page. Yes, the translation on top says "Grand Cross" but I feel there's more to it than that. I know the first Kanji means Ice, 2nd one relates to Magic, the 3rd and 4th kanji together means Cross. However i am at a lost on what the last two kanjis mean. Also, if possible what would the kanjis mean in a whole. Thank you in advance.

Feature Requests / In regards to the Taijutsu Specialty and Lotus KG
« on: July 16, 2009, 05:32:39 PM »
I usually dont use Taijutsu but I remember that Kage Buyou is part of the Taijutsu specialty and there was no Omote Renge in Lotus KG so I thought maybe it's hidden in this combo of specialties.
So I activated my 1st Gate, did Kage Buyou and to my surprise, I dont see an Omote Renge option appearing. o.o
I think you all know where I am going with this now >.>
It probably be worthless considering 1st Gate cost 2 chakra, Kage Buyou cost 5 chakra, and the option of Omote Renge may cost between 3-5 chakra. A total of between 10-12 chakra. However the total output to perform Ura Renge is near that same amount too so... We could have the Omote Renge option appear under the Lotus KG specialty. When you do the move, you receive damage from it. So what do you think? o.o

I dont think this was mentioned before but my apologies if so but do you think you add a decompose/break down option in Anko's Workshop?
The reason being sometimes I want to make something but I dont have the ingredients to make it, however I would notice that my advanced weapons that I make from recipes initially had the ingredient that I currently need.
Sorry for the spoiler but I needed it as an example.
Like for example, the recipe to make triple shurikens, you need 4 shurikens and money to make. So when you decompose/break it down you get 4 or 3 shurikens back with the loss of money and the advanced weapon you broke down.
This idea can be used for other regular items as well. Like the breaking down on 1 medium-sized gold nugget will get you 2 small-sized gold nuggets. Or how a piosoned kunai can be broken down into 1 kunai and a small container filled with pioson.
The whole idea can expand on the whole recipe thing give new ideas for more advanced weapons and more basic ingredients. Perhaps make a recipe where there are 2 or more ways to make the same advanced weapon. I played an RPG that had something familar to this and I really liked the thought of making things and breaking things down. In my opinion, it makes it so much more fun and diverse when you are in control of such things.

Spam / Taijutsu KG
« on: July 06, 2009, 08:39:58 PM »
There are many purposes for this thread but the main one is to help other people fully understand their KGs and their limits as well as to prevent misuses of their KGs in the zones.

Info
Standing (against a normal shinobi)
Misassumption
Questions

Byakugan/Hyuuga Clan: Its abilities are mainly focused on sight, allowing you to see through solid objects, have almost 360° field of vision and telescopic vision that can extend your view to an enormous range. Not only does it see chakra but it can also see the internal chakra circulation system in other beings. That ability allows them use their fighting style called Gentle Fist. The user will concentrate chakra into their attacks in form of forefingers strikes and palm thrusts towards the opponent’s chakra circulation system and in turn, their internal organs.
Standing: Fighting hand to hand with a Byakugan user is not wise as any weakness in your attack will lead you to your greatest downfall. They can kill you in one hit (one strike to the tenketsu linked to the heart).
Misassumptions: Yes, they can expel chakra from all 361 tenketsu simultaneously but don’t think doing that ALONE will help you to survive from attacks. If that was the case, they would be no point in the creation of Kaiten. Also, if someone delivered an attack from close range (within a few feet), you will NOT have enough time to do Kaiten due to the fact that you would have to spin around a few times to get it started.
Questions:
1. After getting hit with the 64 palm move, would the activation of CS or SST will grant you the use of chakra again or is your chakra still sealed overall?
2. If you’re surrounded by incoming weapon projectiles attached with explosive tags in all directions (about 20 overall), would Kaiten help you to survive the explosion?
3. If you have no time for Kaiten but you instantly expel chakra from all 361 tenketsu simultaneously, would that help you survive an explosion caused by a few explosive tags that were ignited no more than a foot away from you?
4. Suppose you were going to attack the opponent with a forefinger poke or a palm thrust but then opponent attempts to strike your finger or palm with a sharp weapon in hand, could you instantly release a chakra wave from the finger/palm to deflect the weapon? This is all happening in close range.

Strong Fist/Gates: Martial arts where the purpose is to cause external damage and break bones.
The speed that Lee shown us is indeed the REAL DEAL as we seen him did one of his signature moves a few times which I nickname the “Now you see me, Now you don’t” move. He disappears in the blink of an eye in front of you and then reappears behind you already initiating an attack towards you.
When you add Gates into the mix, it’s pretty lethal. I have done research on Omote Renge and the preps that are needed to perform it.
We all know that Lee starts the move with a powerful upward kick that sends you flying high in the air, followed by Kage Buyo, then binding the opponent with bandages and then finally pile-drives them to the ground.
The powerful upward kick is ALWAYS aimed toward the chin, which is a vital point. If struck hard enough, it WILL induce temporary paralysis. I had trouble finding at which point Lee activates the 1st Gate and later concluded that it’s definitely before he attempts the kick. I still don’t know if he activates the 1st Gate before running circles around the opponent. The point I am getting at is that once you get hit with that powerful upward kick, there’s nothing you can do as you will be temporarily paralyzes and the only thing you can do is wait until you get pile-drive to the ground aka your death. If anyone doubts that info, I will gladly show you all my sources.
Standing: Bad enough a single attack can break your bones but once the Gates are activated, your demise is just around the corner.
Misassumptions: The gates (at least up to 6th Gate) do not allow you the ability to punch THROUGH steel. You are not superman. However, I do believe it would cause a nice dent in it.
Questions:
1. Do you think it is possible for the Sharingan to track down the fast movements of 1st Gate? 3rd Gate? 4th Gate?
2. Based on what I saw and know, I would say that 4th Gate grants the ability to move at or near the speed of sound. Do you agree?
3. There’s a Naruto video game that shows that going 7th Gate grants you the ability to move at or near the speed of light. Do you think that would be possible?
4. We know that Gai is able to skip gates, should this be allowed in the zone? Assuming this would be allowed, you would have to be the Gai of the Lotus to use the ability and possibly add other restrictions (like you can only skip to 3rd or 4th Gate).
5. We usually see the powerful upward kick delivered to the front of the opponent, however would you think it’s possible to perform this behind the opponent and still combo into Omote Renge as well?

Shikotsumyaku/Kaguya Clan: It’s the ability to manipulate their bone structure and growth. They can remove their bones at will to create weapons as strong as steel (not stronger) and also use their ability to spurn the creation of new bones.
Standing: They are perhaps more dangerous than a Hyuuga when it comes to close-combat and hard to kill due to the bone mask that they will form underneath their skin.
Misassumptions: You cannot shoot out your rib bones like arrows towards an opponent, at least not by standing still. Technically, you can’t shoot out any of your bones through will. He opens up the skin, revealing the fingertip bones and then he flings his arm outward, releasing the fingertip bones at the opponent.
Questions:
1. Would that bone mask prevent a Hyuuga from attacking the chakra points and internal organs?
2. I would assume by increasing your bone density, it will help you survive Omote Renge. However what about Ura Renge, would the ability of bone mask and bone density help you to survive it or does it depends on how many gates were opened prior to the move?
3. Would you think the bone mask will help them survive Asa Kujaku?
4. How fast is it to unleash a bone, create a bone mask and change one’s density?
    a. A Kaguya attacks a Lotus user. Lotus does the signature “Disappear and Strike” move. It is a quick duck (although there was a scene where he really did disappear – Lee vs Dosu) that makes the opponent think you disappear, immediately followed by the upward powerful kick. Do you think a Kaguya would have enough time to use their bone abilities in that brief moment?
    b. In a middle of a taijutsu fight, a Hyuuga manages to attack a Kaguya from behind with 2 forefingers. The Kaguya doesn’t know the exact location of the strike will be due to this blind spot and instantly releases bone spikes out of his body. It SOMEHOW did not stop the forefinger attack; does the Kaguya still have time to perform a bone mask in the area of that is being attacked? This is all happening in close range.
    c. Is it fast enough to do when a fighter at 4th gate rushes to attack the Kaguya?
5. When a Hyuuga SOMEHOW manages to successfully hit one of the Kaguya’s chakra point. Is it best to assume that the Kaguya cannot form a bone spike or bone mask over that small area?
6. Weird question but can a Kaguya release a bone out of their abdomen since it’s the only area that doesn’t have a bone in it?

I know I am asking questions that no one but the creator Kishimoto can answer. However I just want to hear every1’s answers to these questions. You don’t even have to answer all of them but I do ask that you will explain your reasoning behind your answer(s). Hopefully in the end, this will help to set up a “stable guideline” that everyone can agree and look up to. Also you are free to tell me if any of my info or statements is untrue. Lastly, you can just simply state your opinions relating to the poll question.

I wasnt 100% sure if I could put this thread in the Game-Related Discussion so I decided to play it safe and put in the Spam section. xD

Spam / Can Sharingan see through smoke bombs?
« on: June 23, 2009, 04:45:40 AM »

We already know that the Sharingan see chakra flow within an person as well as see chakra in general. For those who have read the Sasuke vs Deidara fight, we have witnessed Sasuke utilizing his Sharingan to see chakra EVEN THROUGH THE GROUND!

http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/361/17/

I'm guessing the mines were like 3 inches deep underground. Through that evidence alone, I would say that the Sharingan can see chakra through smoke, hence seeing someone (to be more specific, the person's chakra flow) within the smoke itself.

However, there's another side of me that wants to deny that possibility for a few reasons...
1. It will get all those Sharingan fanboys all excited -.-
2. In a sense it's another trait that cancels out the Byakugan. I mean Byakugan main ability is sight in terms of range and focus. I mean I'm sure the Byakugan can see through smoke but knowing that the Sharingan can as well (in terms of locating a person), doesnt make Byakugan all that special. However the difference between them are still range.
I cant say there is that much of a difference in focus since Sasuke was able to see Deidara's microscopic bombs: http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/361/03/
3. I dont know, it just feels like an act of god-modding to do if use it in the zones.

Which actually leads to another discussion of is it really impossible for the Sharingan to see chakra points? I mean most of our information about Sharingan in terms of detail was from Kakashi's Sharingan and during Part 1 of Naruto, he didnt completely master his Sharingan.
http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/79/17/
He states HIS sharingan cant see these chakra points, which are the size of a needle tip, yet Sasuke is able to see a microscopic jutsu. >.>

But anyways, back on topic with the smoke bombs, give me thoughts on it.

Feature Requests / Question in regards to Sofushasen no Tachi
« on: May 19, 2009, 12:40:21 PM »
I tried searching to see if this was previously mentioned but I didnt see any signs of it in the search results so I'll mention this now...

Sofushasen no Tachi - control shuriken that have wire cords attached to them (two held with the hands and one with the mouth) and manipulate their paths to tie an opponent to a nearby large object, binding them.

Now I think I can speak for every1 how this move is kinda useless for a few reasons but I remembered how Sasuke combined that move into Katon: Ryūka no Jutsu (Fire Release: Dragon Fire Technique), which allow the user breathes fire along a cord or any other type of long object. So my requests is that when you use Sofushasen no Tachi, the following turn you will have the option to use Katon: Ryūka no Jutsu afterwards, which will appear on the Katon Ninjutsu list under Katon: Hōsenka no Jutsu, costing between 3-5 chakra (you can choose the chakra cost as long as it is not more than 5 imo)

For example, you're in a fight (assuming you are able to use Sofushasen no Tachi in the first place)...
Round 1: Use Sofushasen no Tachi
Round 2: The option to use Katon: Ryūka no Jutsu, magically appears and you use the move.

However, if you use Sofushasen no Tachi and do not use the Ryūka no Jutsu option the following turn, then the option disappears until you use Sofushasen no Tachi again. I'm not sure how much dmg it should do but I think it should be fair since it's a 2-part move which cost at a max of 9 chakra together >.>
I honestly think this is a fair request, dont you think? o.o

Clan Requests / United Nations? >.>
« on: May 19, 2007, 11:13:26 PM »
mm...this may be a weird request but i was thinking if u can setup a special room in the clan hall where only the top clan ranked members of each clan can go into where they can talk about clan business....think of it as a SL vers of United Nations >.>
ppl from different clans can come to post their issues...for example, clan wars, plundering, pvping, alliances, treaties...things like that...it's probably not necessary but it would be kinda neat and would save time in pming a few clan leaders about related issues >.>
::secretly wants SL to be a reflection of the real world::

Feature Requests / Minor Changes
« on: April 29, 2007, 05:44:53 AM »
1. Can u add a "Go Suicidally (till the end)" option? it's a bit time consuming when ur rushing to fininsh ur turns by clicking Go Suicidally and then clicking Until the end option....yes, i'm lazy like that  :P

2. Can u change the reward for killing lonestrider in that event where he demands a certain amount of gems from u? i notice that he doesnt give any exp and i would prefer exp over money...or/and at least 3 gems from it. It is only fair since he's demanding gems from u and u would expect to receive some in return >.>

mmm....i think that's it unless i'm forgetting something else and i apologize if these were already mentioned so....yea
