With a technique like that, i'm surprised someone hasn't claimed it and placed it on the profile.wikia. There's a huge problem with everyone claiming there own dimension.

There's a couple more techniques that aren't claimed that should be for obvious reason...

That Rin has to be a white zetsu or something...Rin might've died during the time skip that gave Kakashi the mangekyō, but this is how Obito witnessed her death and gained his grudge...such a hypocrite he is...

I don't think the original Tobi was Obito, the Tobi the fought Minato. Obito was the Tobi that joined Akatsuki physically after Sasori's death, but still the mastermind behind the Yagura and the Akatsuki organization as well.

Again, another of my theory's but the reason behind his good --> evil exchange still blinds my thought.

Edit: I believe Madara was the original Tobi, with the tiger mask and long hair and all...

Just a theory. But I always thought Zetsu might've found Obito, fused with him using a clone, the reason Obito grew his arm back during the fight with the 4th Hokage.

Obito killed Rin because she had a passion for kakashi over him.

I have other speculations, but I don't want to reveal them yet until Obito confirms my theory(s).

The technique is taught at the academy, and is an E-Rank jutsu...even though it's really not. Logs, boulders, wooden dummy(s), and simple things in that nature is usually what's used in the anime and manga.

It's been seen shinobi substituting themselves with their own clone, but it was made prior to the technique. As far as Kamui doing so with his own acid, it's possible since once again, this is another technique left BROKEN.

Well that part of the technique has always been BROKEN.

Like I said earlier, limitations...

Edit: Also, if I can recall correctly, the substitution has to be switched with an inanimate object in the vicinity.

If anything, it relates more to summoning jutsu than space time. The simple fact is, the user is only substituting his/her body with an inanimate object, which both exist in the real world, not an alternate dimension.
