Council / Re: [Bijuu Council] Agenda #3 - All of the things
« on: September 20, 2016, 06:52:32 PM »
Just my two cents, but as Shadow said it is wrong to eliminate the communities voice on the matter, but on the same hand the final decision still comes down to the Council because that's why it exists. IMO, this topic -- since it's already two pages in -- should be for public use and discussion for Shadow and other non-Council members to voice their opinions. A second topic should be created for the Council members to go over the communities opinions as well as their own and come to a decision. The latter topic would, obviously, only be for Council Members to post in.

As for the Grace Period, you just said it yourself, Shadow: "The reason for giving hosts a two week period is so they can situate themselves with the beast and not get challenged for it right after they get it."

The Council was just handed all the Tailed Beast on SL and, before they can even discuss it, people are challenging them for them. Just like any player, they should be able to 'situate' themselves and decide how they're going to go about doing things before a bunch of people challenge them for the beasts.

Edit: Apparently, that other thread has already been made:

Hi,

you are atm full hp, so I can't see where you came from.

In some cases, the navigation bar does not get an update when you heal up to full hp, so you can still ask for a healer. Which leads to the message you got.

No, that wasn't the case. The option came up because I wasn't at full HP as seen here:

Once I clicked the button to heal me it did so, but then it gave me the message that you saw in the first post, but it had still healed me. Normally, I'd get a picture of the 'Flying Ninja Healer' guy and a message that I had been healed.

Edit: Changed the image to a link; too large.

There's nothing wrong on the player's end. EVERYONE will encounter that no matter what you do.

I've already talked to Neji about it and he doesn't need/want to fix it. :P The function it does still works. Just without the proper text and pic.

Ah, is that so? It's also been a few days and no word from Neji, so if that's the case I suppose I'll go ahead and close/lock this thread.

So, I was leveling in the forest and, normally, I used to get the picture of one of the healer guys followed some 'you've been healed' type of text. Now, however, I get no picture and I receive this when I heal: "Sorry, you are already healed... my services are not needed."

I took a screenshot as well, but the file was too large so I cropped some of the image:

Spam / Re: Final Fantasy 7 Remake
« on: December 14, 2015, 04:37:50 AM »
It's being partially made by CC2 -- guys who make the Naruto games -- so I expect there to be boss battles on a grand scale, and the battle system seems to be like Crisis Core which I'm fine with. CC:FF7 was my first FF game, so as you'd expect I wanted to jump right into FF7 to see how the story continued after Zack, but I never got past the first disc. Pretty excited that I can finally play the game in updated graphics so that I'll probably finish it, but that may not be the case. They could change the story, they could include Crisis Core, Dirge of Cerberus, Advent Children, etc. among other things instead of just recreating the original game with better graphics. We'll just have to wait and see, but regardless I'm kinda hyped for it.

TBH, I'm more hyped for FF15. Enjoyed the demo and that game has been a long time coming.

Rules/Foundation / Re: Should there be IC hunts? (VOTE!)
« on: December 09, 2015, 03:08:29 AM »
No. I advocated for IC hunts, but as you can all tell they clearly didn't work out and people just use them to avoid challenges and make things complicated. While yes they could work out under the new council, it would save everyone the headache if they were just made OOC again.

So, again, I vote for no limit on the number of bijuu.

I agree with Bocc' here. Whilst it is true that a lot of you void pretty much everything after ch. 600 or something like that, that doesn't entail the Juubi. Bocc' is trying to immortalize his character like I did by becoming Hokage. I see no issue with him having more than two Tailed Beasts and, in fact, there shouldn't be a cap on them at all. More people than Bocc' have gathered all the Tailed Beast and it has never been a problem before. If Bocc' is good enough to get all those Tailed Beasts and then keep up with all the challenges then he DESERVES to be able to keep more than one. There should be no cap on the limit one should hold especially when, based on what I read, Bocc' doesn't even plan on using them in battle and only wants to be able to keep more than one so that he doesn't have to make alts or give them to unreliable people.

As for the Juubi matter, again no one necessarily voids it. It come before the chapter that you all void. If you have problem with it because you think it can't be beaten -- which it easily can, honestly speaking -- then do not participate in Bocc's RP. I see no reason to make it all IC and then when he turns around and puts all his hard work into something tangible to then, and only then, make it OOC to fit everyone's wants. I say that, if it ever does happen, then to allow Bocc' RP the Juubi's Jinchuriki, but have game masters, council members etc. helping him and anyone who challenges him out so that there are no arguments.

The whole point of this board was to bring an end to trifling matters of the Tailed Beast and to, in a way, make SL fun again. Bocc' wants to work hard and create a fun event that anyone can participate in, and yet you all want to deny him that. I can see why as the Juubi is OP and Bocc' does have a track record -- trust me, I really know that -- but, as I said, with help it could be a great event. I've said it once and I'll say it again, if you all continue with this trend of voiding things you don't like, character controlling, and denying others their right to fun -- because this is a game and is supposed to be fun -- than SL will die faster than it already is. Just saying.

Rules/Foundation / Re: Methods of *IC* hunting a Jichuuriki (VOTE!)
« on: December 04, 2015, 02:10:31 PM »
No. There are many more ways -- such as Sage Mode, Mind's Eye, etc. -- of hunting down a Tailed Beast. Now, do remember, however, that after this a discussion on how a Jink. can avoid a would be enemy should go. Some people take it to the extreme as others have mentioned, or outright ignore you.
