I was trying to screw him over? Lol. Yeah, no. I neglected to do the precise math on the duration, as Genesis did. I made a mistake. What reason would I have to screw Athos out of a biju? It would go to Ryoji, and I have no interest in owning a Biju myself.

Said screwing over, lacking precise math, or believing Rus. I don' think you have any reason to, just stated the three possible errors that could have occurred. If you took that as a shot to your character, I apologize.

Unless directed @ Shadow, in which case ignore me >>

After offsetting to my timezone (which I know matches Athos) this is what I got

Rus posted Feb 28, 8:22 pm.

The judge said Athos was out of time March 7 5:46 pm.

I get the point Rus makes about it being seven days (date wise) but people are entitled to the full amount of time seven days is, 168 hours. Therefore Athos has 2 hours and some change to work with. Rather than argue, he officially posted a small sentence at 6:16 pm.

So as much as I'd like to see this Montreal screw job on Athos play out (wrestling reference for ya bud!) This is a really a poor attempt. Either from malice or lack of time telling, or believing Rus point on a strictly date perspective.

So yeah, fight continues, Rus goes on the clock as soon as this thread is locked.

Council / Election Time!
« on: March 02, 2017, 05:15:25 AM »
Sorry for the delay everyone, things have been busy for me, but that's no excuse, better late than never though.

So I talked to Kamui, and he says he's staying put, that means with Kayenta, Shadow, and Ace leaving so we have three seats.

We also have four candidates listed below. (Votes for them will be periodically updated)
Athos: 5
Nekomaru: 7
Keito: 11
Tomi: 10

So yeah cast your votes. You can vote for three of the four candidates, or less should you wish. Also because I'm just randomly springing this thread up and people might want to get the word out, I'm extending the deadline for voting to the 15th, so two weeks. So vote away and if anyone has a problem with me taking control of this feel free to message me or open another thread to berate me, otherwise vote vote vote!

So we can start elections anytime we want, although if Kamui drops there is no need to any election since Ace just left and if Kamui leaves four spots are open.

Rules/Foundation / Re: Reword the rules?
« on: February 24, 2017, 02:58:54 AM »
Is it really that big of a deal? I feel like if you were interested in a bijuu you'd be keeping your eye on it already.

It used to be. Say you challenged a host in the old days, and were fifth on the list or something. Wake up the next day and the host has either lost a fight or gave the biju away and the new host already has like six challengers. So you lost your challenge and now have to take spot 7. The two week freeze gave ample time for people to find out and not be screwed without at least a chance.

But with the advent of inherited list, I don't think it's really needed anyway, unless people go with the reason Dato said.

Rules/Foundation / Can you split biju chakra?
« on: February 24, 2017, 02:51:40 AM »
I don't think this will be used, but as players like chinote said, if it ain't on the books, people can do it. It used to be a rule you couldn't split the biju's chakra, but I don't see it anymore.

By splitting chakra I'm referring to two things specifically
Dividing it's yin and yang half like Minato did with Kurama

Or people giving away it's chakra like filler Sora, or the Gold and Silver Brothers.

Keeping it real simple, yes or no, yay or nay. This vote topic will formally stay open for 7 days, and will close  3/2/2017.

Yes: 4

No: 7

The rule was also there before jinch had to accept all previous challenges. So the rule was put in to place to be fair to those that wanted to challenge. So it wasn't so and so happened to be logged in at the time there was a new jinch and got first challenge cause they were online and nobody else was. The 2 weeks no challenges would give ample time for the information to spread on SL and have multiple people informed.

But the rule is pretty much outdated now since challenges don't go away for a new host.

If we wait till March we might as well hold general elections again altogether for the seats of the Council, since the 2nd Cohort's tenure will be nigh over by March 6th.

Very true. Should elections be held on March 7th, or slightly before so there can be a quick transition?

Rules/Foundation / Re: Maintaining Abilities/Host Reintegration

It may not be a rule, but if someone were to do such a thing, they would have to cite canon evidence. If you can have multiple beats inside you at once, what's the point of the mazo? Even Naruto only held small portions of each Tailed Beast's chakra, he did not host all within his body at the same time. Heck I don't even think with SL supped up buffs anyone could make a seal that could hold that many biju.

What people could do however, is take small portions of each biju's chakra. I remember there use to be a rule saying not to tamper with the biju's chakra. So if that rule were put back into place, it would stop that. Also if that rule isn't in place, people could make Gold and Silver Brother equals by splitting biju chakra up. So there seems to be a few rules lost in translation. So we can open a thread for each and try to vote them back in, or we can go Athos route and just put them in, as most of these rules have long been in place, and may have been accidentally forgotten about.

So I guess discuss what we should do, then move on. Just trying to make progress and get these rules on the books or accept them as gone.

Alright, guys enough about Biju fights being 1 v 1, make another thread for that if you want!

This is a nomination thread. Since most of the council members are mia right now, and this thread has been going on for awhile, I'm going to say nomination should end by Sunday, an election thread be put up the next day on Monday, last a week, and hopefully by March 6th, the new members can come in.

If anyone has a problem with me making that decision and wants a longer extension of nominations or voting, voice your opinion now or forever hold your peace! Hopefully by Sunday Kamui knows his decision as well.

It takes 15 weeks to master a Bijuu and there are 52 weeks in a year Eric so there's no way you could master them all in under a year unless you've already mastered all but three.
That's assuming that you wait to capture each one until you've mastered the last. I don't remember anything in the rules saying that you could only master one at a time, so if you captured all 9 at the same time, it'd only take the 15 weeks, not 135.

There is no rule against it, but how would you master them all at the same time? You can only master a biju and gain it's abilities when it's sealed inside you and you master them. So you'd have to seal the Reibi, master it, take it out and throw in the Ichibi, etc. Then if you have all biju it becomes more problematic, as the other biju you have that aren't sealed inside you are to be treated as summons. Which means they hate you, which means you may never be able to fully master it since it will forever hate you.

Edit: Or I suppose the user could keep the other biju sealed away and not as a summon, but still, I don't know how you would master more than one at a time, as I believe you need them sealed inside you to gain the abilities?

It's literally never been a problem can't we just write it in as is? As for mastering all the bijuu and getting a ton of free KG well since we have 10 bijuu now (not counting the Mazo since you can't or rather don't get anything substantial from hosting it) if someone wants to spend A LITTLE UNDER THREE YEARS mastering them all I say more power to you.

If everyone agrees, and there are no discrepancies, be my guest and write them in.

I mean, I get your logic, but I don't believe the argument was predicated on mastering them all, and not everyone is starting from scratch. Take someone like Tomi for example who has already mastered two, therefore if there are no rules can use Yoton and Ink Release. Assuming he gets say the Gobi and Ichibi, he could add sand and steam to that resume in half a year. That's 4 unique traits that have been stacked on to his normal character.

So I don't think people want the host to be able to keep stacking up biju abilities. I would agree with you if everyone was at the starting mark, but we have multiple people who have already mastered multiple beast. Anyway, just my opinion on the matter.

uhhh, idk? His most recent thread says he is thinking about it, but I think he said somewhere he was leaving it. I don't remember the exact wording, so he could have thrown a maybe in there, idk. But if he did quit, I agree that he should have to be a nomination and get back in.

Yes, that is true, but by the end of the thread Kamui had reversed and wanted to make it a future biju rule. So no, it is not done. It won't have any impact on the prior fight as even he acknowledged, but the rule will be voted on for future use. Whether it will pass is an entirely different matter.
