For the most part I agree with some stuff that has already been mentioned, but I'll add my two cents as well.
I don't think the Byakugan should be constantly active. In the manga, nobody has it active 24/7 so it makes sense that in SL it would have a limited amount of turns. I do think though that the amount of turns should last longer and increase as the resets stack, as previously suggested by Ratatosk, because the more experienced you get with the Byakugan it makes sense that you would be able to sustain it for longer. It would be nice if Kaiten got a power boost as well. Leave the chakra costs as is.
If anything, in the past Neji has been more inclined to make it more difficult instead of beefing up KG because otherwise everyone would be breezing through resets. There's always the option to leave Byakugan as is and just nerf Sharingan further XD
Regardless, Neji already has his hands full with the KG swap and other secret stuff, and he's already been nice enough to do a revamp before so this kind of request is more on the backburner if anything.

Personally I don't see why canon items can't be challenged for. In my eyes, they're basically like a bijuu; you win, you keep the item, you lose, it gets taken away. Even though they're specifically seven swordsmen swords in that they're unique, that's basically just their name and really only indicates where they originated from. Swords aren't tied down by their location nor possession (as seen in the manga when the swords have swapped owners on occasion), and I don't see why they would be off-limits.
Besides, if you're in possession of a canon sword and don't have the skill to hold onto it via a challenge, then you probably don't deserve it anyways.

Not so much the discussion itself on how something works, I think it's just the fact that it turned into OOC that flooded the chat, causing the RP to be lost a few pages back (or whatever RP was going on to begin with) when discussion or questions should initially be resolved via pm's first, if possible.
In the past Neji had sent out a MotD saying a position is open and people could submit their applications online. However this is assuming that Neji would agree with the idea that we need more staff, since it is ultimately his decision. But as both you and Takeo mentioned, though I put forth the idea of adding more staff, I am also stuck with not having anybody off the top of my head that shouts "moderator material!!"

This was just spurred on after reading some of the stuff in Iwa, but would it possible to add more new, active staff?
Upon reading through the official staff list and who is active, from what I can see it is mainly Tracey and Kamui who I see online the most. I know the others come on from time to time to validate avatars, and I'm sure there are more logistical staff things that I am not aware of that they may be dealing with, but I think that SL may benefit from having more staff to help mediate things.
I know that Zen helps a lot as well with trying to help with moderating, but I feel like it would help if we had more staff, or even just more gamemasters to assist with things.

And quite honestly, though Yumei wants to rp-lock all his characters to keep them all safe until he can find a loophole, then it's his choice (though his jinchuuriki shouldn't be able to rp-lock imo). But you can't rp-lock a village, so I agree that the barrier would be down currently.

Is Baluski even still in the events? I haven't run into him with Purp throughout my whole reset (in hopes of gaining the chakra-boostin' goodie) nor have I run into him in a few months with my sitter alt, which heavily relies on him to get my temp stats.
Then again, I have horrendous luck so perhaps it's just coincidence that I haven't run into Baluski as of late. XD

It's a bit of reading up to do, but it has some other peoples' ideas and opinions brought up in regards to switching or swapping KG. One way to experience all the different KG in the forest would be to just make new alts (if you're patient enough) or buy already reset accounts.

Zojin totally called ittttt. Rinnegan = Senju + Uchiha. I feel like all of these things were so easy to speculate, and I thought for a moment that perhaps there would be more of a twist to it. But then I remember it's Kishimoto. XD
