Now that I've got your attention, the voice actor for Sasuke Uchiha in the dub is actually named Yuri Lowenthal.
He is a man.
Seeing as how the title is just his first name, I don't think I am introducing anyone into anything they don't already know.

No, it's not uncommon for young male characters in the states (anime or otherwise) to have a female voice actress.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same with other countries as well.

I also hope they keep the filler ark where Sakura ends up taking up medical training... I think if the filler ark includes a bit of cannon material, they should keep it.

It's not... though Ichigo, Renton, Vash (Trigun), and Kiba (Wolf's Rain) all do have the same voice actor: Johnny Yong Bosch
Naruto has a voice actress in both the Japanese and English versions. .~.
He even has a female seiyuu in Shippuuden.... poor guy.
