Now I know that it's been awhile since someone tried to go about setting up a public RP event for everyone to just enjoy, but it's time that someone tried again.
So, I was thinking of bringing back something that was from the really, really, really old days of SL o.o I am pretty sure there has only been two of them, held in Konoha and then Suna, but anyone who remembers better than me feel free to mention.
I want us to work as a community to set up this event, now obviously the village that holds the festival will have to have a public board and preferable not a village that already hosted one but it's been so long, the other festivals might as well not have happened.
Uzushiogakure would be more than happy to hold such event, but other villages willing to step up are more than welcome and we can all talk about it.
Personally, I think Kiri should maybe host the event, because let's be real guys. The Kiri folks have been getting a really bad rep lately but I know behind all the official drama, they aren't bad people o.o And I think people could really use a reminder like that.
Anyway, hopefully I can get this started and rolling, SL needs to do something that isn't Bijuu.

I'm down. There can be an OOC peace treaty for the duration of the festival to avoid confrontation, that way we can all sit down and enjoy the view.

Maybe not so much Illuminati...
But I mean, this would essentially be the goal. I mean, most people have already moved passed constantly fighting and when was the last time SL had anything close to what resembles a war?
So, why the hell not? If people would rather it not be held in Kiri, speak up! Something >> Don't just scoff at this idea. What is the worst that can happen?

Not sure how that would play out for myself it it was held in Kirigakure IC; for obvious reasons. I more than likely would be attacked on sight and the current Kage has me randomly blocked so yeah...overall not good.
Also as Dart said you need to ask them first. Orrrrr you could host the event in several villages.

Well the idea has been posed to offer Kiri the social event...
uhm...how about they comment on if it would be something they would like, as active parts of the community, here in a discussion thread about how to hold the event?
