Title: Assassin in the woods
Post by: Neji on November 16, 2006, 12:17:31 PM
Well, Sichae made an assassin module to let you enjoy revenge a bit...

the player you select gets attacked by them and you can drop a note to give him a last "why" or something.

The service is more expensive the more powerful your target. But there is no limit to whom you send him/her.

Enjoy

Who were you trying to kill? The more the  level the higher the cost I think Neji said.

I just saw him again, I should of looked...I decided to kill him instead.

I know Risuku was over 250 gems. I'm guessing you're in the 300-350 range.

To answer a previous question, you may be able to find out who sent the assassin if they send a message through the assassin, which is an option. I finally saw it today, it's not too bad. A little expensive for a kill, but if you want a job done right it's going to cost you.

I've gotten the same message twice, about being too chaotic evil to live up to the contract.
Title: Re: Assassin in the woods
Post by: Neji on November 18, 2006, 09:53:44 AM
yes.

at first, I had in "if you are too lawful, he won't trust you as you won't make such an agreement"

then... I thought "no, lawful guys always to what they promise, and good guys are not going to hire an assassin...they are good guys, so... lawful evil - lawful neutral is lawful, but they would respect agreements they make, even assassination contracts"

and so, I excluded the chaotic guys and the good guys from using the assassin.

because chaotic guys would not respect such an agreement (chaos is the opposite to law) and he won't contract with good guys, simply because they are good and would maybe try to lure him into a trap or so...

Hmmm, on my Jounin account, I encountered him twice in the forest, and I sent him after a hunter nin and another jounin... and well when I clicked the "contract" button, to seal the deal, but he didn't take any of my gold or gems, and just left saying he'd take care of them immediately... I also didn't see a price of gold and gems for how much it would cost after I searched their names...

Post by: Lebis on November 27, 2006, 12:32:27 PM
I was just wondering...

Excuse me if this was already covered, but right now, I'm kind of rushing.

How exactly do we know if the assassin goes after the target like he was told to?

I'm sure he does, but I'm just saying.

I recently sent him after somebody, and I don't want 30 gems to go to waste..

But I'll tell you one thing.. Due to my lack of... a lot of things, how do I know if those gems payed off?

Does it show up anywhere, or do we just have to pay and say to hell with it?

I mean... the whole event is virtually useless without something to actually confirm that the other player was indeed killed.

Sorry if I missed the answer in a previous page or different thread.

Well, he carries out the contract, currently, you simply have to rely on him.

I think what lebis means is, maybe you could make it so that the players get a system mail that tells them whether the assassin was successful or not. And it would be nice if you can add "[player] has defeated the assassin in the forest" into the bios.

Ah ok, makes sense. One more question though, are you sure it resets after the person died from or beat the assasain? This would be the second time I've tried (one a day or few ago) and came up with the same thing. Now I know Kboogi's a wanted man, but he can't be on everyone's hitlist.

I'm guessing Kurenai or Mizukisan. Those are the only girls I can think of that would be expensive.

But anyways... The assassin.. is still missing something. I don't know what it is, but I know that it could be improved.

The more you you get killed by the assassin, the lower the price should get

Assassin: Oh him, he is easy. Hahaha...I will even do it for free.

But if the more assassin you defeat, the higher the price should be

Assassin: You want me to slay him?! Hey, you better pay me more than this. I am risking my life here.

Ignore me...

Does the status of your rank(AS, genin, chuunin and so on) the only factor in determining the price of hiring an assasin?
Someone told me i had 35 gems and 3500 gold on my head >.>

so you can be minding your own buisness talking in you clan hall, breaking into Ichuraku's ramen to slit a few throats, peeking in the forest with jiraiya and the assassin will attack you

Although I haven't experienced the assassin, he wouldn't just attack you during an event.

He only attacks when you enter the forest, no?

The assassin attacks when you least expect it, I know all too well. Just enjoy the time before it happens to YOU...

if thats the case hes will be easy to kill when some1 sends him to kill you because ive killed him 6 or 7 times without much damage
Title: Re: Assassin in the woods

in my opinion i think hes easier when you choose to attack him because hes not really expecting that. if someone target you he will be the most well prepared warrior.

then it's a waste to send him in the first place right?
