I would be fine with Oro seeking you out after you hit a certain EXP threshold. 

After all, you can still try to lose to him, right?

I also am not sure I get the whole purpose behind the Baluski event.  It seems intended to serve as a sort of in-game balancer, yet it only effects one stat while rewarding others (sometimes).  But those occassional rewards also cause unbalance, right?

I agree with the "FireFox runs it best" sentiment.  I have had no problems running this game in firefox.  It is all I have ever used for this game.

ETA something On Topic:
I also would like to have the feature to turn off each set individually, but ultimately I would rather have all of the pictures than none of the pictures.

I bought one last night for 55,000 gold (just for the fun of it) and now I notice that no matter what the price in the shop is (10,350 gold) it'll have the resell value of what you bought it for (making for easy extra gold).

Just curious, how would you get extra gold out of it?

You bought it for 55,000, right?
When you sell it, you are selling it for less than that, right?

I understand that the 41,576 is more than the (at that time) current market value or the item, but I do not see how an individual would go about making money.

If someone where lucky enough to get a level 15 weapon for 10,350, the presumably, if they went to resell it, it would be a percentage of that price, not a percentage of the current market value.

Of course, I could just be incredibly dense and not understand what you were saying from the beginning.   


ETA:  And I contemplated making this exact post (well, the title anyway) as a joke once I saw the new prices but decided against it.

I think...

IF more gold is given per battle, it seems pretty negligible.  After just playing through two of my characters, I did not notice any increase in the amount of gold accumulated throughout that gameday.  But that was only two characters and there might have been other circumstances.

I had two wiis at launch.  Returned one because I did not know there would be that much demand.
I am looking forward to more quality games, but what I have right now sustains me (along with the VC & GC games).

Yeah, I am not upset at loosing HP.  I'm not really all that upset about it being inconsistent, but it would somehow be comforting to know that it was supposed to be inconsistent.

I've never lost more than 10 at once, mainly because my luck seems to have me finding the event every few days.  Today it was while traveling.

Again, not upset about the event.  I understand its place in the game.  Just wondering why today it took me lower than it had in the past.

Please forgive me if this topic should have been handled differently.  I thought about replying to an already existing thread that pertained to this (in a way) but it was old and I have seen complaints about bumping old threads.

Anyway.

When I get the Baluski event, it takes me down to different levels everytime.  Is there even a basic formula to figure out how much I should have?  I thought I knew (not the formula, but my HP ceiling at my current DK level) but as I said before, it has been inconsistent lately (and luck has me getting the event more lately as well).

I can provide more details, such as my level, the amount of HP I started with and what it took me down to.  We are not talking about massive shifts, but sometimes, a few HP can make a difference.

I too am a parent. 

Try starting with a smaller amount.  My son plays and I would have reservations about him doing $20 at a time.  But $10 here & $10 there, much easy to let slide.  You might even have to slip down to $5.  You still get your prize mount, just for a shorter time. 

If they allow you, at a lesser amount, you might try dropping hints about how much you enjoy it, just to butter them up for the next time.  But you know your parents best.  Some are easier to move than others.
