Feature Requests / Removing Kabuto/Oro hotkeys

Was thinking of this old thread and how it might be better if only re-occurring actions are hotkeys. For example, it takes at least 20 thrillseeking ff to level up and 14 levels. In other words at least 280 turns. This saves much time as a hotkey.

On the other hand, fighting kabuto or orochimaru is a 1-and-done thing. And ideally you would manually take a turn in the forest on some mob to activate kg/jutsu/buffs for oro flawless. I'd think we already manually prep for oro and don't need it on hotkey.

Often times I try to thrillseek (h) but lv up to 7 and it becomes (n) thanks to kabuto and the outhouse changing. I accidentally run into a multi-enemy or badnav and use (n) for armored/skeletal/humanoid susanoo depending on current chakra before I can send out dogs. I waste most of my chakra and can't use dogs at all anymore. Or gouke(n), the 4 chakra uchiha jutsu (n) and the list goes on. Many opportunities to waste potential. I'd suicide but I tried to scrap my weapon and armor to lv 1 and walk into kabuto with barely any hp if any after plunder traps and breaking sandcastles at the beach. I accidentally somehow destroy kabuto w/o jutsu and lv 1 weapon/armor and 1 hp not hit a single time after 20-30 rounds of fighting. Stuck spamming (r) a million times to go to beggars lane/return just to come across ghost to "treat" her to my life so I can die and fix my game day with dogs again.

Anyways with something hands on like kaiten I almost never slipped up. But with something automatic trying to grind with uchiha/dogs I struggle more with the hotkeys.

Solution 1:
Remove kabuto and orochimaru hotkeys, possibly other one-time

Solution 2:
Move to the bottom of the forest list like how the daily special has a category of its own. If the hotkeys are only in order of what is listed on the page, just like the secret cave, special mission, elite forest, grinch and items list we could have a special category for oro and kabuto or just move them into the same category as the existing daily special. This would prioritize it last in receiving hotkeys and the above forest options would not change.

Solution 3:
Make "til end" truly til the end. The option til end is to help automate the forest process for those who are completely confident in their jutsu prep, kg activation, stat investment, extra hp and so on. Let us get burned by our incompetence if we hit "til end" with 50 oro kills on multi enemies and end up regretting it. Solution could be to just make it completely til end for those you have their kg/jutsu active instead of using (n) or (h) and suddenly getting a multi and wasting 9 on susanoo when they were only 1 chakra from sending out dogs and now they are 10 away and not happening.

Solution 4:
I go back to hyuuga and eternally condemn dogs, grinding slower but surely!

*on a side note it would also be beneficial if "no jutsu" was an option. I choose taijutsu even with 100 oro kills because every other jutsu set has changing hotkeys that really seem to mess me up. Even then I still mistakenly use the first few taijutsu often when I try (h) or (n) for thrillseek and it becomes gouke(n) or (h)o during an unexpected multi enemy.

I have to revive this dead thread... I haven't gotten the event since I posted almost two years ago. I haven't logged in very often but I grind a ton when I do and still no luck. Are we sure the chance increases the longer you have ems? I've had it almost two years and nothing... not even a single gyu event yet.

If it matters I thought I'd sit and just killed oro after roughly 2 years. Are you only allowed one successful training per DK or what?

I see. So to max EMS you will need 48 successful training sessions after the transplant. Definitely easier said than done. It seems the event is on rotation because I cannot seem encounter it right now.

I recently bought Kouko. It also is referred to as "Gamabushi" when sent/retrieved from the stables.

Edit: I give up. Lots of mounts say Stable or Swap your "Gamabushi" or "Gamabunta". You can also buy a mount twice. You can have one with you and one in the stables, even two of the same mount in the stables. If you had 6500 gems you could buy the Kyuubi and have one with you and nine in the stables.

Ultimate Goal: 10 Kyuubi's!

It looks like EMS event is also on rotation? I was getting it often enough and now not a single time for a while. I heard the encounter rate was suppose to increase over time, not decrease.

Is EMS jutsu damage based on progress, DK's, resets or a mixture? From what I understand each new level brings more techniques. I assume it takes numerous success to progress EMS because I have multiple successful training sessions but still have yet to reach lv 2.

I thought I would share this here. I don't know if this happens with other mounts, but after buying Matatabi I put it in the stables. However the text said "Stable Your Gamabushi". After doing so, I then clicked "Swap to Gamabushi" and used a mount feed. I verified that the "Gamabushi" I both stabled and swapped back to was indeed still my Matatabi. It was merely a text display error when trying to stable Matatabi or swap back to it. Whether the coding was copied from Gamabushi or whether it is just filling in the text with the previous mount I had a few game days ago I am unsure. What I do know is that this is what happened and I have never gave my mount a custom name before.

This is true. I stopped bothering searching through 10+ pages for 5+ villages for pvp just to find nobody in there when it says "Slay (2)".

It is off-putting to search through tons of pages in the hamlet to find people for pvp. This use to be easier when more people played SL but now not so much.

Xia, Neji and Gyu are spot-on.

Ok, I believe psuedo-jinchuriki resets are even more plausible. Good suggestion. I see no problem with this.

I don't know if I can add quotes from other topics so I'll just put it here. Found this just now from a previous thread a while back.

1) Just because you restart with kyuubi doesn't mean it will be permanent, or that you will be able to use it to it's full potential or even go kyuubi-mode

2) It doesn't have to be too powerful. It could be like how it's presented in the show; a secondary source of chakra or boost in max chakra ( only available when out of original chakra, if you want) and/or a temporary buff in attack/defense and/or some minor attacks like when Naruto sometimes uses the chakra to attack, as seen in his CS-One tail fight with Sasuke way back when.

3) Just one reset wouldn't (and shouldn't) be "too powerful". Only a bit of chakra can leak through the seal at once, and one reset may unlock a max chakra boost, a second unlocking a stronger boost, a third/fourth/fifth giving a temp. attack/def. buff and maybe healing a bit like the kyuubi chakra tends to do

4) And there should be an option of using the chakra at a penalty, for example, losing max hp or just dying if over-used. If there was a 15 chakra kyuubi jutsu, for example, you could use it but you would take 100 damage per turn from your own kyuubi chakra, maybe 500 damage, lose 5 max hp per use, or lose 25-100% of your health and maybe or probably die.

4) We already have hundreds of EMS/Sage of the Six Paths/Perfect Sages/Special Kaguya/Mokuton/KG resets that are supposed to be unique and special, so if you would say that having multiple PSUEDO-jinchuriki is questionable, you might want to take a look at your own character which may have every single ability they never should really have in the first place. After all, you don't see hundreds of people running around with rinnegan/sage mod/EMS so I don't want to hear that special argument

5) If not, the KG could just be implemented as "Psuedo-Jinchuriki" and you just get a "Biju", no need to name it. You could choose to name it for 500-1000 DP in MHQ like your mount, and then choose your Biju name (could be based off one of the 9 in the series or you could make it your own, for fun or RP purposes)

So the Psuedo-Jinchuriki doesn't have to be Kyuubi, that was just for example. Like how Oro has kind of turned himself into a snake, you could kind of reset as a Psuedo-Jinchuriki with a sort of inner strength and call it whatever. It doesn't have to be a whole second kyuubi (though it would be cool if it was) and the attacks can be generalized if desired, or even custom-named like you can with your weapon and armor.

I thought I would ask, is there a reason why "You have encountered Loneliness which lunges at you with Silence!"?

Is that supposed to happen? I know the game generates enemies with a +/- 1 level range, but why do I face a level 17 gaara with 15 hp? Is it supposed to be a joke or something that I'm not getting? Or is it that the game code causes the thrillseek/search suicidily at lv 15 to loop back to lv 1 for generating stats?

This is where I think I should post this. Maybe I am wrong... But as many people know, the SL wiki still shows a lot of old game info prior to the now updated version. The stat formulas seem to be accurate still, but it looks like Neji is updating them once again (or doing something with the stat display due to the red question mark in-game).

Or for example, Rai ninjutsu is unlocked at a certain DK count with no stat requirement, but on the wiki it said it required ___ dex/strength/intelligence or something like that. To prevent people like me from wasting DK points on stats or for meeting certain requirements, as well as giving more accurate and up-to-date info on the game, the SL wiki should either be updated or open to changes as a community (like wikipedia).
