Village Square / Dawn of a New Era [Kamui vs Jay OOC Spar/Training]
« on: February 25, 2020, 06:35:33 AM »

Kamui would walk across the sandy dunes of Sunagakure until the sight of rock formations came into his view, the man would find himself in a small clearing devoid of any sand and it seem that he was on the outskirts of the Land of Stone. The area was devoid of any life as well, which made him more comfortable to train in such an area that would not suffer any collateral damage to any living beings in the area. Upon closer inspection, the man wasn't dressed for war as per usual and was seen draped in the typical Uchiha wardrobe. It was common for him to have this type of attire when he is training or sparring with another person.

"I hope that guy got my message...I really don't want to do this alone and it'll be much better to have a partner to practice my moves with." Kamui said as he awaited for Jay to arrive at this location. Shukaku was quiet as usual and was comfortably residing inside of large metal teapot within his mental realm.

Bijuu Arena / Naruto vs Kamui: The Tanuki and Fox Struggle Once Again!
« on: November 16, 2018, 10:01:21 PM »
Quote from: Camel
Preferred Method: 1 VS 1 IC

Affiliation: Konohagakure no Sato

Preferred Zone: Plains, Valley of the End (Hokage Zones) or Empty Town

Preferred Judge: Genesis, Tomi, Shadow, Miyuu, Eric, Warren or Tobias (I really have no set preference when it comes to picking a judge, only thing that matters is our choice for judge isn't a council member due to the rules.)

Bijū Mastery: Full Mastery/Tailed Beast Mode

Challenge List: Uzumaki Naruto (Date of Challenge|10/18/18) [fight won't start until terms are discussed and vice versa]

My Rules

-The preferred match is to be a one versus one *IC* death match. However the match will be defaulted to OOC, if that player doesn't agree to *IC* terms of engagement.

-Victory for the challenger is the defeat of the host through any means necessary, and vice versa. Death in the fight does NOT equate to death IC, unless such a term was agreed upon by both parties.

-Even if you use clones or summons, you still only get 3 actions. This rule is final and non-negotiable.

-I implore you, please don't metagame or retro-post, since doing so will result you in having to use your only repost to fix something that could've been easily avoided by simply proof-reading your posts beforehand.

-Skills acquired during an OOC match are not carried over IC. Similarly, knowledge of the participants' abilities do NOT carry over to IC RP.

-Can only use skills that are known IC at the official start of the match. No borrowing from others. No immediate power ups within the match.

-Discussion of non-allowed techniques will vary by each challenger and can be discussed via PM only.

-Don't be afraid to get hit and I won't be afraid to get hit. I understand that this is a game of words and you're reading and responding to what's going to happen at any given time, but you cannot use that knowledge to give your character any sense of a way around it. I.E. If it's not revealed by a character's words or actions, then you can't act upon it.

-Inflammatory, racial, harassing, or abusive language aimed at each other in the match or in PM will result in an immediate void of the challenge. If this is done by the challenger, (s)he loses all rights to ever challenge the current Jinchūriki. If this is done by the host, he loses the match and bijū given to the challenger.

-I don't mind any sort trash-talking dialogue during the match, but let's keep it civil and strictly between our character(s). In case of a dispute during the match, no one should bring anything personal and off-topic into the matter. If found guilty of doing so in the match or in another thread, you will forfeit the match by default; this rule applies to both competitors.

-You can't be aware of something that your character shouldn't be aware of. This ties into the last void rule on a much more absolute scale. This means everything, Location, State of Being, Techniques used, Seals used, Sensing concealed Chakra. (IE: Don't ridiculous in terms of engagement, like having your eyes open while using Mind's Eye of Kagura.)

-If there's a technique or any piece of equipment that either party wants, they can put those on the line as well. Though seeing as how I have a bijuu, you can only chose one thing from me, while I can attempt to get two things from you (If you don't have a bjiu as well).

-If you found a way to bring a technique from out of the Naruto world, I would like to know the logic on how you're using to claim it. I'm an understanding person, so I'm not going to make a big deal about it, unless it happens to be truly a ridiculous technique that doesn't make sense in the Naruto/Boruto lore.

-In the event that the host is defeated, the new host has the cool-down challenge period time-frame to either accept the special regulations for the tailed beast or completely re-write and alter the special rules they inherited. If they do not post their own variant by the beginning of the next challenge, then it is to be assumed that they comply with the previous special regulations, which means they will inherit any challenge list that the former had.

-If host defeated in an *IC* manner, the challenger must allow the host to finish up any roleplay that may involve having the beast, then a reasonable RP will be concluded as to how the beast transferred hands.

Judge(s) Information

-A judge *must* be picked before or during the first round of initial entrance posting by both parties. If the chosen judge makes a ruling that is deemed ridiculous by either party, the matter must be brought to the forums for a final decision by the community.

-If, by some chance, the match should reach a point of true stalemate after a minimum of 30 days then a judge may be called in to determine a winner based on how the fight has progressed up to this point. Both participants must request this of the judge in person (I.E. Both fighters MUST send a PM for this option.) If this is chosen, then the judge may declare a winner based on these criteria:

     • Who effectively manipulated the flow of the battle the best? The strategy employed (based on the posts) may have been defensive and attrition-based, but was it effective in the long run in wearing down the opponent?

     • What caused the stalemate? The challenger being unable to defeat the challenged, or vice versa? Is it constant cancellation of jutsu and techniques by both sides, or merely one side taking refuge in a relatively inaccessible area (such as pocket dimension) in order to avoid defeat entirely?

     • Who showed the greatest skill in the fight? This is completely and utterly at the discretion of the judge. The judge's decision is final on the matter, regardless of accusations of cheating or bribery or otherwise. This should be kept in mind when deciding on a judge for the fight.

-If neither side can be conclusively declared the winner, then the fight either proceeds or a draw is declared. In the case of a draw, the challenger may rejoin the queue of challengers after the latest challenger without having to wait for cool-down (this circumvention for the benefit of the challenger for not technically being declared the loser, though by not succeeding the host can be considered a winner in this situation.) Keep in mind that this is a technical victory for the host, so unless the challenger truly believes that a restart is necessary to increase victory chances, then it is not recommended to settle for a draw without reviewing this process a second time.

Posting

-Prefers SL forum, as it is most useful for fights where long periods of time may pass between postings, serves as a record of the fight's progress for other challengers, and for that damned time-out option.

-Must post at least once every seven days. Though if a pattern of postings persists (I.E. If either player stretches their posting to the full seven days each and every post without prior notification to the other), then the challenge will be voided. The cool-down will be initiated to challenger (if challenger is problem) and the host will be stripped (if host's activity is problem).

-All measurement units to be used in U.S. Customary Units. (I.E. No meters, kilometers, etc. Use feet, yards, miles, and etc. This rule is default, unless it is agreed upon by both parties that the usage of the metric system will be acceptable in the match.)

-Everyone gets one re-post only. Re-posts are only made to fix an issue that was brought up by the judge, so proofread your posts beforehand, since the slightest mistakes will cost you dearly.

-Modifying an entire post to save yourself or completely change your character's strategy is an automatic disqualification from the match. (See inactive clause for consequences.) Edits are NOT allowed. An edited post is an automatic disqualification. A brand new "Reply" must be made so there is a full history of the entire fight for judge and other readers.

-Take this into consideration when posting your response, any little mistakes that I see in your post will be your Achilles' heel and I am not afraid to capitalize on these mistakes. This is a fighting-style role playing game, so it's only logical that I have priority to act upon this, when you make these small mistakes and I respond to them accordingly. (I.E. PROOF-READ YOUR POSTS)

~~~~~~~~MISC~~~~~~~~
-Running away from the fight will result in you losing the match, no if ands or buts about it.
-Using your chakras to FTG to my location, no you can't insta-transport anywhere without first placing/emoting a seal beforehand.
-Basically keep an archive of everything you claim to have/use and rp in a normal manner on the narutoprofile wiki or whatever custom page you prefer. Please do not try to create a technique during the match without some sort of description that details the effect of your "trump card". If you don't want provide a description for the technique, you will be given the option of using your only repost to rectify this, so I can respond accordingly. If no repost are available, the judge will make a final ruling and judge the match then and there as a whole. Sorry. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Any further questions, please PM me on Shinobi Legends, on the official discord channel or on here on the forums.
**Everything here is subject to change upon the Jinchūriki's discretion.
My opponent has agreed to the terms above and the judge that we agreed to was none other than Warren. Location of the battle will take place in the Valley of the End and the entrance post below will reflect on the transition from the village squares of Konohagakure no Sato
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kamui and Naruto would find themselves on the outskirts of the Land of Fire, more namely the endless valley that was shaped from a battle so long ago. The area that they were at was none other than the Valley of the End, as the puff of smoke cleared. Kamui leap from the spot that he was at and landed on top of the carving's fingers that was on the opposite area of where they were reverse-summoned. Upon closer inspection this statue was in the likeness of the Shodaime Hokage that faced the Nidaime Mizukage with both of respectively giving each other the seal of confrontation.
"A long, long time ago, I fought someone whom I considered a friend. However, we let our bitter rivalry get the best of us and we ended causing more harm than good. I've learned my lesson from those days and aimed to change the way I perceive humanity in general. Although there is a darkness lurking in all of us, I find harmony in balancing this out with the love that I received from others over the years." Kamui said as the winds howled and the locks of the Shodaime's hair waved with the winds, brushing the hair aside from his face. An exasperated sigh left the lips of the man as a pulse of chakra was emitted from his body, the wind force of this wave of chakra could be felt from the distance and was strong enough to push the young man back with relative ease.
"You probably had dreams of that Ōtsutsuki woman with long hair, haven't you? That woman haunted my dreams for years and the more I had that dream, the more I had to find out about the Ōtsutsuki clan. You know who I found who she was in the end? She is the mother of the legendary Sage of Six Paths that was sealed away more than a century ago. Those Ōtsutsuki that landed in the village are closely related to her and my power alone cannot fend them off...which is why I need the power of your tailed beast. Once I united the chakra of all the tailed beasts that I've gathered over the years in my body, I'll be able to transcend my limits and fend off those invaders with ease." Kamui revealed the reasoning behind all of this, the old tales of the past weren't a fable like those were lead to believe. He was certain that his opponent would understand why he brought him here and the atmosphere was heavy with anticipation of this battle. The feeling of his chakra meant that this would be another life or death battle, there would be no repeat of what happened the last time they met on the battlefield. This battle would be a struggle for the ages, his opponent would be wise enough to not underestimate him this time around. It was quite a while since they last fought and Kamui had gotten even stronger over the last couple of months, but not only that. There was more tricks that he had up his sleeve that he was more than eager to try out on this young man.
"Prepare yourself, Uzumaki Naruto. I owe you for that eye I lost in our last skirmish."  Kamui smirked with confidence, while he awaited a response back from Naruto. The tension in the air at the moment was thick enough to cut with a proverbial knife, but there was still time for some banter between the two before this battled truly started.
Council / I'm done
« on: July 24, 2017, 04:27:50 PM »
My term as a council member has come to an end, as with most of the council members that previously retain a seat from the previous election. (I think.) I don't know when another election will take place, but the purpose of this thread is to clarify that I am no longer on part of the council, unless I get voted back into that position again in the near future.
Thank you for everything and may peace be with you all.
Love, Camelicious.
Spam / Inexplicable Events
« on: June 10, 2017, 04:17:09 AM »
The purpose of this thread is to share your stories that were simply unexplainable or downright frighten you to the point that you weren't sure that it was your imagination or not. I encourage you to share your tales of the otherworldly or tales that otherwise belong to the board spectrum of the unexplainable. (I'll start this off.)
As I approached my twenty-fifth birthday, I was making plans to have a small barbecue an had brought some beer earlier that day. Needless to say the day went off without a hitch, friends and family stopped by for a bit, ending with what left of my circle of friends that remained. When night came, the circle dwindled down to just me and my best friend.
I usually don't like to start drinking until usually around after sunset and by the time that it had hit midnight, I already had taken down around seven bottles. My buddy brought himself his own brand of beer and was taking down his bottle(s) in intervals of thirty minutes. By the time that we finished all of the alcohol, it was already past one in the morning and we decide to relax in the cab of my Chevy listening to some Pink Floyd until it was time for us to turn in.
Come around two thirty in the morning, I was starting to get somewhat groggy and was thinking about heading inside. However, my buddy grabbed my shoulder and pulled out what suspiciously look like a joint. Sure enough it was and after exchanging another birthday greeting, I lit that bad boy up and starting a smoke sesh. When we both finish the sesh, it was about five till three in the morning and took a minute to gather the trash from our drinking; that way I could throw it away in the morning.
Once that was all done with, we were both about to exit the vehicle and head our separate ways; I was going inside and my buddy was going to walk a couple houses down to his place. Before I could even open the door, the area around us got bright and I mean really bright. So bright that everything within a quarter-mile was lit up to the point that it was daytime at three in the morning; the day sensors on the street lights picked up on this and every single street light was off for a short duration. This event immediately freak both of us out, so much that we were hesitant to step outside in fear that something might happen to us; like aliens an what-not. It also didn't help that around the same time that this event occurred, an officer in a sports-utility vehicle was passing down by my block on routine patrol. Once he saw what we had saw, he hit the breaks and stopped in the middle of the road for a brief moment to catch a glimpse of what just occurred. I guess he saw something that we didn't see and immediately sped off, which we took as a sign to 'gtfo' of there.
Long story short, we couldn't explain what we saw and we were certain that we were not the only witness to this otherworldly or otherwise possible celestial event. It could've been a number of things, the possibilities were so staggering that it was frightening. (I'll share some more stories, once the thread starts getting some replies.)
Council / Commentary backtrack (Indecisive about stepping down)
« on: February 22, 2017, 06:41:02 PM »
I am not sure yet, but I want to sleep on this decision before I actually come to a consensus that will eventually leave a seat vacant on the council.
If I do happen to step down, I'll notify the remaining council members via private mail. But for now consider me still on the council until unforeseen circumstances force me to vacate the seat.
(If you wish to reply to this post, send me a PM.)
Council / Scripted Fights aka Fixing Bijuu Matches
« on: February 16, 2017, 05:29:28 AM »
Why is this becoming prevalent in bijuu matches? Why are those that know about this are willingly turn a blind eye at this?
This is what I am speaking about. Mail 1. Mail 2. Mail 3.
Now this beg the question. How is this ethical for a jinchuuriki to act when it basically sets everyone back that tries to earn a bijuu all on their own? I'll answer it for you, it isn't ethical at all to do that. However Shadow has pointed out that there is no rule from preventing this and he was aware of things going down like that, so a council member isn't unbiased anymore if you look at it from his perspective. It's a shit show and he can agree that it is pretty much making everything around here not fun anymore.
The way that I see it is by doing of this crap here, you're basically preventing from other newer players from one day achieving heir dreams of being a jinchuuriki. Unless you of course, happen to be acquainted with that jinchuuriki then you can count on having a chance of winning that beast you are aiming for. Now is that a fair and fighting chance?
Quite frankly I am tired of doing a damn good job at promoting RP and this kind of stuff goes around unchecked. I never even pulled something like this and if I did, you can bet that I would've been the center of the topic like right now.
I expect to be called every name in the book by exposing this, already have been called a terrible zone fighter by bringing this up. So what the hell? Lay it on me, verbally abuse me to get your jollies off and throw salt my way. I need the seasoning at this moment. (I found out that I needed more sodium in my diet.)
Bijuu Arena / More SWF Drama
« on: February 14, 2017, 10:34:57 PM »
Fight slightly paused and judge was notified.
I have some issues to address with Athos post. First off, I counted some extra actions and the flow of actions have been limited to three on here; which we have been going by. Saiken maintaining the usage of Sage Mode count as an action and if you wish to dispute that, that's perfectly okay with me. I don't see anyone going past three actions throughout this FFA and I was certain that "maintaining something" counts as an action.
Another issue is that you state that the empowered(EGRF) pressurized air cannon wouldn't do any external damage based on your beliefs that your 7x buffs would save you from an attack that had more than 93x your buffs. You're no Juubi jinchuuriki, so you can't claim immunity from an attack that has already hit you with a even greater multiplier that overwhelms your own buffs. For the record, I don't know how precisely deep of a hole that was made through one punch alone by Might Gai and you're waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay high up in the air. It would be plausible to say that I launched you out of the atmosphere with that punch alone at this rate.
I don't know if anyone else had any issues that they would like to addressed, since you basically broke out of genjutsu and still maintained Sage Mode. Which according to my count is five actions in your post that I've noticed. (Don't fret, man. I made this mistake too in another fight of mine and it eventually became water under the bridge.)
I would like a re-post to fix/address these issues, since it will actually effect the third and fourth paragraph of your posts or we could await a ruling from Eric to clear all of this mess up, that has generally confused the hell out of me.
Everything above was agreed to by both of the competitors and as the defendant for this bijuu, I will make the first entrance post
-=-=-
Guruguru clad in his plain black hooded cloak would emerge out of cavernous hideout of Ōmagatoki with a large manically grin across his visage, signalling that the insatiable darkness within his body was ever restless. The transition into fusing with Hiru allowed the creature to gain more humanoid features and even came with some physiological changes, but this evolution came with none of the weaknesses that a normal human would have to face.
"I love this new body of mine and I cant wait to test it out." Guruguru kept walking away from the entrance of the cavernous hideout and navigated his way through the mountainous terrain until he came across a plateau overlooking a plain that had acres and acres of grass. Guruguru came to a stop at the edge of the cliff and was overcome with a feeling of nostalgia.
These days Akatsuki had faded into obscurity and another more diabolical organization took it's place, Ōmagatoki was very different from it's predecessor. This new organization thrived on spreading chaos and disorder, which was far in comparison to what Akatsuki used to do; it was like comparing apples to oranges. Guruguru was a temporary leader of Ōmagatoki and the creature to needed to put this organization back on the map or otherwise it would face the same fate that the Akatsuki faced.
"Kill. Kill. Kill. Kill! KILL! KILL!" Guruguru could mentally hear the restless and malicious life-form commanding him to satisfy it's blood lust. The creature let out a small sigh and decided that it was time to leap off the cliff towards the grassy plains.
"I heard you the first time, geez! I can't have five minutes to myself without you going on a tirade about killing this and assimilating that!" Guruguru complained while he in free-fall and stretched out his arms as a thick membrane form around his arms to his side of his body; creating what look like wings in a way. Soon after, Guruguru would find himself gently gliding down the valleys of grass until he eventually came skidding across the plains to land; the skid marks from his landing stretch out twenty feet.
"You need to work on your sloppy landing." Hiru knew how to poke buttons with his host and reveled in peer pressuring Guruguru to not eat his victims, but instead assimilate them then kill them. At the moment, the creature scanned the area around for any signs of life and ignored the barrage of insults being thrown his way by the Zero-Tails. In retrospect, Hiru wasn't that very cooperative to Guruguru since they only commune with each other for a such a short time. However, the creature still had limited access to the version one cloak and had the ability to tap into large quantity of Dark Release chakras that the leech had.
"I don't even know why I wore these gloves with this cloak in the first place, blech! Freedom at last! Now for the next step..." Guruguru took off his obsidian gloves and threw them on the ground, revealing that he had two diamond-shaped marks on his left palm. Next, he would strip himself of his plain black hooded cloak and threw it on the grass right next to the gloves, revealing that his previously pale-white body had undergone drastic changes to suit his genetics; the transition into a jinchuuriki just made the creature that much stronger.
Village Square / Alternate accounts and bijuu fights
« on: October 18, 2016, 01:39:19 AM »
I spoke with a few fellow players and few of the gamemasters about a similarity that I've seen in the recent bijuu fights. Now I am not 'putting anyone on blast' but this type of behavior is something that I cannot condone, since all of us went through a fair process in order to gain a chance at earning a bijou; wanting a bijuu that bad doesn't constitute to deliberately breaking the rules that we set as a community.
"Who? What are talking about Camel?"
 I am talking about a fellow player that I happen to caught with an alternate account trying to either secure a bijuu through illegitimate means or make it so if one characters loses, they have a back-up. Which isn't cool and real scummy in this case.
Now you're asking, "Who are you talking about? And stop with the suspense, man!"
Sorry about this. Like I said before, I am not trying to put anyone on blast; I just want an explanation for these actions and want to know why no one spoke up before.
Terumi Dato. I actually caught you registering for the bijuu fights under an alternate account. I wouldn't been able to catch this, had I not misclicked your IP during the validation process of Yuki Zera. Now I don't know if this was you or someone else that you happen to introduce to this game and they decided to register an forum account, while they were at your house. I just don't know. Believe me, man. I'll gladly drop this, if an explanation is given.
What I do know is this isn't the only instance. I spoke with Shadow and we had a suspicion that maybe someone else was doing this too. Arashi Nanashi was someone that I was initially suspicious of, and so was Shadow. I can't be drawing conclusion based on gut feeling alone, so if this is your account. I actually did an investigation and I found out that both me and Shadow were right all along. If you can give me an explanation to why this was condone and I'll drop my suspicions, along with Shadow. This is totally not cool at all, considering that we agreed upon no alternate accounts. I just want an explanation for this behavior that I happen to catch.
"Don't you have alternate accounts, Camel? What if you're doing this to cover your tracks, huh?!"
My alternate accounts are pretty much well-known, if you ever see me editing a character that you haven't seen before; then that happens to be my account that I use. If asked, I'll gladly list which character that I have that is active and which is collecting dust. (I may sell you that dusty account, if the offer is good.)
Now I ask only this, please no flaming or hate-mongering. I simply want a discussion and/or explanation about how this issue can be prevented and also spotted in the future.
 ●  This battle will be strictly OOC unless it was agreed by both parties that this encounter is to be made IC.
Setting: Valley of Clouds and Lightning (雲雷峡, Unraikyō)
"At last! I am free!" Gyūki suddenly spawn in the middle of a vast water-filled valley that was located in the mountain ranges of the Land of Lightning; a cloud-like fog could be seen lingering at higher elevations. Avian wildlife that was lingering around the area already scattered due to the sudden flash reemergence of Gyūki, although no one appeared to be within the immediate vicinity the colossal stature of the beast wasn't something that could easily be hidden.
"Here of all places? I better scram out of here before someone comes to investigate!" Gyūki was already getting so excited for his newfound freedom that it slipped his mind that he was exposed out there in the open. Gyūki nervously scanned the area and ventured further into the water-filled valley, hoping that he could come out of this unscathed and back out onto the wild, the thought of becoming someone's pet of even trapped in a human vessel really played on his emotions; the danger was real and freedom was something that he had rarely had a chance to experience in his lifetime.
Village Square / That dusty ol' Sword of Totsuka (Discussion)
« on: August 28, 2016, 11:34:45 PM »
Now I am not trying to pick on Kirigakure or anything, but it came to my attention not too long ago that the Sword of Totuska has used less than when I used to have it in my possession. Mioku has only used it a couple of times since I redistributed it from Kamui, Yata Mirror went elsewhere but that is besides the point. Logically I should be able to claim this item on the grounds that I haven't seen any public use of the item in months or not perhaps years, I should've.
However, after inquiring on the status of the item, I contacted Mioku about it and I was told that Gitsune now has it. The wikipedia was changed to clarify the sudden change of ownership shortly after I was told this revelation from Mioku. All right. I contact Gitsune about claiming the item and telling her that I was going to be active with it unlike the entirety of Kirigakure or the SSM.
Sadly, I cannot do so. Why? Gitsune intends to sit on it much like the rest of Kirigakure does with their stuff and I have to wait until she is inducted as Nanadaime Mizukage before I see any public use of the item. Now keep in mind that there is an event occurring in the village. I will probably never seen this initiation process until some time, which is why I don't think its fair to be sitting on something that you never use publicly. If someone pointed out that I had something that I never used, I would allow them to either add themselves ton the current list or just plain remove me; the absence of my character's name doesn't hurt me emotionally or what-not.
I've been in contact with Kirigakure(Gitsune) and told her that I was going to be bringing this up for discussion. If anyone can provide evidence that clears any of the allegations that I made, then I will gladly drop this case. The only thing I ask of everyone is we keep the passive-aggressive statements to a minimal and try to work this out as professionally as we can. Please no outbursts or trailing off from the subject of the topic. :oops:
Bijuu Arena / Enishi/Yonjimbo vs Uchiha Ryoji
« on: January 04, 2016, 06:18:33 PM »
[Format stolen from Dart/Dāto]
Jinchūriki: Haishiro Enishi
Tails Mastered: 1
Affiliation: Kirigakure no Sato
Preferred Method: OOC 1v1 or IC 1v1
Preferred Zone: Plains
Preferred Judges: PM for details regarding the selection of a judge (I have no preferred judge and want to come to a choice on equal terms with the challenger)
Preferred Outlet: SL Forum
Special rules
-The match is to be a 1v1 death match, if the preferred method was agreed to be IC. However the match will be defaulted to OOC, if that player doesn't agree to *IC* terms of engagement.
-Victory for the challenger is the defeat of the host through any means necessary, and vice versa. Death in the fight does NOT equate to death IC, unless such a term was agreed upon.
-Skills acquired during an OOC match are not carried over IC. Similarly, knowledge of participants' abilities do NOT carry over to IC RP.
-If, by some chance, the match should reach a point of true stalemate after a minimum of 30 days then a judge may be called in to determine a winner based on how the fight has progressed up to this point. Both participants must request this of the judge in person (I.E. Both fighters MUST send a PM for this option.] If this is chosen, then the judge may declare a  winner based on these criteria:
     • Who effectively manipulated the flow of the battle the best? The strategy employed (based on the posts) may have been defensive and attrition-based, but was it effective in the long run in wearing down the opponent?
     • What caused the stalemate? The challenger being unable to defeat the challenged, or vice versa? Is it constant cancellation of jutsu and techniques by both sides, or merely one side taking refuge in a relatively inaccessible area (such as pocket dimension) in order to avoid defeat entirely?
     • Who showed the greatest skill in the fight? This is completely and utterly at the discretion of the judge. His(her) decision is final on the matter, regardless of accusations of cheating or bribery or otherwise. This should be kept in mind when deciding on a judge for the fight.
-If neither side can be conclusively declared the winner, then the fight either proceeds or a draw is declared. In the case of a draw, the challenger may rejoin the queue of challengers after the latest challenger without having to wait for cool-down (this circumvention for the benefit of the challenger for not technically being declared the loser, though by not succeeding the host can be considered a winner in this situation.)
Note, this is a technical victory for the host, so unless the challenger truly believes that a restart is necessary to increase victory chances, then it is not recommended to settle for a draw without reviewing this process a second time.
-Prefers SL forum, as it is most useful for fights where long periods of time may pass between postings, serves as a record of the fight's progress for other challengers, and for that damned time-out option.
-Must post at least once every five days. Though if a pattern of postings persists (I.E. If either player stretches their posting to the full five days each and every post without prior notification to the other), then the challenge will be voided. The cool-down will be initiated to challenger (if challenger is problem) and the host will be stripped (if host's activity is problem).
- A judge *must* be picked before or during the first round of initial entrance posting by both parties, if the chosen judge makes a ruling that is deemed ridiculous by either party, a new judge may be chosen ONCE by either side. If the matter still can't be settled, it must be brought to the forums for a final decision.
-Re-posts are allowed, within reason. (I.E. If either participant has to repeatedly re-post, the match will be concluded. See inactivity clause.) Re-posts are only to fix the issue brought up by the judge. Modifying the entire post to save yourself or completely change your character's strategy is an automatic disqualification from the match. (See inactive clause for consequences.) Edits are NOT allowed. An edited post is an automatic disqualification. A brand new "Reply" must be made so there is a full history of the entire fight for judge and other readers.
-Can only use skills that are known IC at the official start of the match. No borrowing from others. No immediate power ups within the match.
-Discussion of non-allowed techniques will vary by challenger and discussed via PM, only.
-Inflammatory, racial, harassing, or abusive language aimed at each other either in the match or in PM will result in an immediate void of the challenge. If challenger, (s)he loses all rights to ever challenge the current Jinchūriki. If host, he loses the match and Bijū given to the challenger.
-In the event that a host is defeated, the new host has the cool-down challenge period time-frame to either accept the special regulations for the tailed beast or completely re-write or alter the special rules. If they do not post their own variant by the beginning of the next challenge, then it is to be assumed that they comply with the previous special regulations.
-If host defeated, allow host to finish up any roleplay that may involve having the beast. Then a reasonable RP will be concluded as to how the beast transferred hands.
-All measurement units to be used in U.S. Customary Units. (I.E. No meters, grams, etc. Use feet, pounds, Fahrenheit, etc. Unless it is agreed upon by both parties that the usage of the metric system is acceptable for the match)
Any questions, PM me please.
The rules above have been agreed to by both parties. The match will be OOC and the judge for this match is Eric. As defender for this beast, I am obligated to make my entrance post. Also the setting for this match will be the plains.
===========================================================
Enishi arrived to the grassy plains with his thirteen cardboard cylinders in tow, the man himself lack any empathy for what will occur and at the behest of his beast, "You should let me loose and I'll take care of anything in our way." Matabi mentally intoned and the man lightly punched his stomach "Shaddup, you dang cat." Enishi said and continued walking in the grass until he came across a small clearing, the man decided to look around to see what the dealio was; it was too quiet for such a windy day. The wind brushed against his hair and totally messed up his 'do', something that was unacceptable as he put down each individual tubes onto the ground and he ran his hands through his hair to slick back his hair like it was before. "I got a bad feeling being around here." Matabi spoke through their mental connection and the man just shrugged his shoulders, "Bad feelings. Good feelings. All this paranoia is really starting to bore me." Enishi said with some emphasis on the topic of boredom. It wasn't like he hated confrontation, he didn't have a positive outlook towards being confronted for Matabi but it was better then being bored out of his mind like he was currently
