Well Kiddies,
Halloween is approaching quickly and for all the Shinobi Legends veterans, that means the event that Baluski thought of (Yes, in his rather sick mind) is around the corner. For those that don't know the event its called, The Day the Sky Rained Blood. For those that don't know of the massacre, um.....I mean the event, you can ask around or use the search function.
The question is, do we come up with a new fresh Halloween event or do we stick with a Halloween favorite and go with tradition?

Please keep in mind, that any new ideas and events would need to be divulged rather early because of the time restraints on the coders.

Why not keep the old and add something new?

It would be better to have something totally new. To have the same old event every year would be boring and really stale. There are many new ideas that could be used instead of rehashing and blowing the dust off the same old one each year.
Shikamaru and Gyururu among others are always able to come up with excellent ideas, why not do something different and special for Halloween.

Are you scared? It's Halloween. Do you think it barbaric? I think so, but I definately want to keep it.
I was an academy student when it happened and I want my revenge.
Being so high in dks leaves me a small group to pvp. I want to let loose.
There are people that started after me and I never had a chance to attack them. I want to attack them.
I think this event was only used once.
So it won't be boring at all.
A lot of people have been looking forward to this event.
It is a RARE event. Once a year.

yes..most Diamyos are the evilness..but i too think it should stay as is because i have quite a few people in my sights

Well.....,
For those that want something new, I think I might have a solution to your conundrum. There will be new things during Halloween. :D
1. For those that are fearful of the swarm of killers creeping around there is a new safe haven in Shinobi Legends. If you have access to it or not is the real question. Last year there wasn't any place available, so this new place is just that......new. Good Luck in trying to get there.
2. For those that asked for something new to be implemented during Halloween, we can have angry animals looking for blood and redemption. The remergence of the Angry Penguins in the forests during Halloween. This is for all the times you guys (I just want to clear my name right now, I never killed any of them) :roll: killed all those penguins in the forum.
Good Luck trying to survive, if the daimyos don't get you, the penguins will. :evil: On the other hand the daimyos better not run into the penguins :o

The one thing I like about Baluski is that he doesn't deny anything that is true. He's never had a problem with the first stage, Denial. :-? He also knew that no other moderator has killed off more penguins than himself, so at least he's comes to grips with the fact that their main target is him. As for the rest of you that get trampled by the Web Feet of Justice, :cry: you can blame the mods or yourselves for coming up with weak topics that mods had to kill. :twisted:

What I gave up to gain entry into the safe zone should work 365 days of the year, including Halloween and Hanukkah. :D Not everyone has the means to give up that much without receiving a mount or something else in return, what I received was SAFETY. The event can go on, but I'll be watching from a far sipping on gin and juice while blood flows. Like Shikamaru said, "Time is a ticking for everyone to gain entry."
Some people complained to Neji about what good is having a safe zone, I"m not complaining at all. I call it genius and worth every single soul.

The Penguin Event is hard enough, but to have over 160 to 180 people rush and stay online to kill is crazy. Maybe during the old times when you guys first did this it was cool, but now no way. There are far too many people now, it means people won't have the opportunity to even get to there accounts before getting killed because people will not log off. Plus its a school night so its not even fair for anyone thats a student.
I vote to ban the day the sky rained blood. Think about the message and think about the children.
These ideas and opinions have been paid for by Eureka 7, and the just say no to tradition coalition.

I don't see why you're complaining so much, it's basically like any other day you can die except no one has to search for you. If you die while logged off, you can't be killed again until you log back in.
I wonder who the one lucky person will be who gets to kill me? (seeing as I'll play in the morning and that's it)

I'm trying like crazy to find this safe zone place, but I can't freakin' find it! I got a freakin' month to find it and I'm already in panic mode :shock: I don't have a pvp loss and I plan on keeping it that way but if I don't find this stupid safety place I'm good as done for. All my plundering of Master Hokages, Hokages, and others homes are gonna come back and hunt me. :cry:
I'd like to take this opportunity to say that I didn't mean to plunder anyone's home. I was forced to by Baluski and Tau. I told them I didn't want to but peer pressure is so tough. :oops:

But when somebody kills you it dosent record on your PvP.
It just records there if you are the one who attacked first and you lose.
so if I kill you it wont get record on your PvP stats.

I don't think you have any right to call the majority of hokages up stupid.
That is an insult coming from someone who doesn't know the 'saftey zone', how the pvp record works, and there are a few below hokage that can kill you.
They're called sitters.
I wouldn't even know if I killed you considering I don't even know who you are in-game.

I highly doubt that a sannin or small grand hokage can kill me but if you would like to try me I'll show myself to you, if you ever leave the Hidden Village (talking about safety). I'm in a good mood and I've been sitting on lvl 15 for good time. The safety zone that I spoke of, I can already enter. My favorite character is Tobi, one that can act stupid, but knows far more that he lets on.
Try not to get by the penguins because I plan on doing the job myself. :twisted:

Actually, I could care less who you are. I don't let one player ruin my enjoyment of the game and I won't obsess over who a player is or why he or she does what they do. It's obvious that you aren't that strong, because if you were you would proudly shout out your game name. Also, the strong players in Shinobi Legends don't brag about their accolades because they know that others will notice it without all the self promoting talk.
Back to the topic or the penguins will have another reason to seek revenge. :-?

It's obvious that you aren't that strong, because if you were you would proudly shout out your game name. I feel old, telling these stories of early Shinobi Legends. :oops: (When it comes to telling old stories it should be left to people like KB) ;) Anyway most of the veteran members in the forum will be able to share a story of meeting a penguin in the forest. About a year ago penguins were running loose in the forest, why? Because of the threads....they weren't very happy with the mods and especially the shinobis that were killing off their family members.
Now a lot of time has passed since the last time they were let loose, so we can only expect them to be much more powerful than they were a year ago. Many of the veteran shinobis that are still here are survivors of that event. Of course, we have plenty of shinobis that weren't able to survive the angry penguins. :cry: :(

I remember the Penguin Event. That was a long, long time ago when that happened. I can't believe you remembered that event. Some people made it through like all of the mods we have now, but alot of young ninjas didn't make it. Oh well..........I've gotten a lot stronger since that event. I'm ready for it. If I remember correctly if you defeated the penguins you got something good, I just forgot what it was because its been so long since we had the penguins mount their forces.

Um, I live in Europe. And sometimes I can get to internet only for about 2 hours a day.. It really won't be fun if I logged in SL on 31st October but early in the morning when it's still previous day in US.. I'm playing SL only from May, so I wasn't here last year, didn't see the event. So I just wanted to know when exactly could Halloween event happen, and will it be 24 hours or more/less..
(if it will happen, though I'm not interested in many pvp's so much, more in Special day thing)
