I want to say that Kage is still alive purely because it was never officially stated that the fight was either OOC or IC. As I doubt Rakudo did the research, travel time, and effort to enter Amegakure (guessing that's where Kage usually is?) to attack the Amekage, I would say the challenge should be automatically assumed OOC until declared differently.
However~ If Rakudo did clearly state that the fight was IC multiple times, more so than a generic "I'm going to kill you!" threat, then I can see how that could change things. If you want anything to happen I think both you and Kage should take screen shots of your conversations. If you both supply screen shots of the same PMs, that could make it easier to distinguish whether or not there's foul play.

So is is mutually agreed that Rakudo is an Edo Tensei user who replaced Hazama? I want to add him to the list now but also want to make sure all shenanigans are over before editing anything.

Everyone here is a teapot calling a kettle black. But in the end, I firmly believe that ET should not be able to perform life-death resurrecting techniques.
I do think that the Naraka path can be used to heal the wounds of other non-ET paths though like it did to Nagato's Asura path. Now that I think about it, has it ever been shown anywhere that the King of Hell can eat-up and spit out a living human? From what I remember it only heals/transport already dead bodies.

You guys, we already have the established rule that ET zombies cannot and will not transfer chakra to others in the SL world as they have an unlimited supply of chakra.
If it has been agreed upon by everyone that ET zombies can't effortlessly transfer chakra due to their unlimited chakra...I'm pretty sure this also applies to them not being able to effortlessly transfer life force thanks to their unlimited chakra >_>.
@Kamui: Even by putting a time limit on ET using jutsu like this, what happens when someone has two ET zombies with 6-paths? Do they get 2 Samsaras every 3 months? I say just no to this idea in general. Nip it in the butt before any kind of controversy can even happen.
Think of it this way, what good can come out of this for the RP? Sure it'll be a plus for some as this is yet another way to attain a form of immortality, but overall it'll probably cause more trouble/arguments in the RP than it's worth.

I feel like the Mind Reading technique is a Yamanaka clan jutsu similar to the Nara's shadow manipulation. The Yamanaka clan is the only clan in the series that specializes in specifically mind based jutsu or techniques, so it makes sense. According to the Wikia, the people who have been involved with performing this jutsu are: Aoba Yamashiro, Inoichi Yamanaka, Mozuku, Shimon Hijiri, and Tonbo Tobitake. However, the only person who actually used the technique (in the canon manga/anime) was Inoichi. Everyone else simply aided Inoichi by maybe lending him chakra and/or helping him concentrate. None of them actually went into the path's mind to drag out information besides Inoichi.
The one and only disconnection of the theory of only Yamanaka being able to read minds like this is in a single anime non-canon/filler episode (Shippuden #227, Adventures at Sea arc) where Guy gets kidnapped by some bird and taken to a lost island. This arc was so filler that it aired in Japan in 2011, but didn't make it to America. There are apparently tons of things wrong with this episode such as: a girl being able to summon Pain's giant snake-tailed chameleon and naruto's sage mode elongating his canines for some reason. Furthermore this particular arc was directed by Hayato Date and not Kishimoto. In fact, Kishi doesn't legally have any creative say with how the Anime production company decides to take the aired series. So if the Anime producer decides that he wants a filler episode with Sasuke going sage mode for shits and giggles, Sasuke will have sage mode for a single episode. Soooo~ Based on all of that, I don't really think any information learned from this arc can be considered legitimate.
But in the end it all comes down to whether or not we consider filler anime episodes as "legitimate" on the shinobilegends RP universe here. But I feel like this will most likely just slide by since people have already been using it? Of course, I might be shaky with some of the finer details so if any of you can provide evidence otherwise, feel free to correct me.
TL;DR
This jutsu is a Yamanaka clan technique unless we consider a ridiculously-filler anime episode legitimate.

I've been informed that Rakudo will be replacing Hazama on the list of Edo Tensei users. His RP learning the jutsu is in zone 3. If anyone has any disagreements with this, please state your reasons here so there can be a discussion about it before I edit him into the list of users.
After the incident with Shinro and Zekko, I'll be "announcing" any changes I'm asked to make to the ET list here so there can be no miscommunications or misunderstandings.

The last thing I remember saying to him was that I don't care about his goals of making Otogakure stronger through Edo Tensei. I told him "no" many times before taking my break.
Whelp, that's that then. I'll remove him as a user.
@Kamui: If you could let me know what Zekko replies to you about this situation that would be great. I figure since you already PM'ed him regarding the issue I shouldn't bombard him with another interrogation.
I should make a "blacklist" of all the people who either try to lie or abuse loopholes to learn this jutsu lol.

@Rakudo: I'd like to think that people on SL wouldn't go as far as to lie (forge a conversation) about something like this just to gain access to a silly technique. But I guess I give everyone the benefit of the doubt at first.

That makes more sense. If that's the case, then as of now Hazama's position in the teacher student chain is in limbo as he is not a playable character but is also not "dead".
At this point Rakudo needs to figure out a way to keep Hazama alive since Jashinists can die from malnutrition (Haz has been dead for nearly a month-ish now I believe) or Rakudo can somehow extract the information.
Also, the ruling about the splitting technique has been removed since many of you have made valid points of why it should be allowed.
