Title: LeafToad, a mod?
Post by: LeafToad on December 07, 2006, 10:50:30 PM
...Yeah, I've been wanting the position for a while. Any section really, whichever you choose. I'm online or tend to be logged in most of the day on the weekdays so I'd be able to be a great mod. I sent you a PM about it a long time ago Neji, though never got a reply with the answer. Anyway, I'd like to know what other people feel about me having the position as well...

i've never had a problem with you and when i was in your clan and here in the forum you've been a really nice guy. i think neji would accept you if he had a position open but thats if he has one open. by the way neji, i would like a position to. i want to be your self esteem. every morning i send you emails praising you and raising your self esteem. whats the catch you ask? well, you will give me one whole cookie and a pat on the back, nothing more nothing less

You can have Kboogi's spot. <.< >.>

That is fine with me, I wouldn't expect nothing less from a <DORKO> member...

Your grammar and spelling is great, you're attitude is upbeat, you hold your anger, the members seem to have no qualms with you. Then again, it seems my judgement of character isn't all that great. *admits to suggesting Kboogi for the spot*

Suggest Leaf should become a mod. He's the most civil person I've ever seen in Shinobi Legends forum.

Well, I think Leaftoad would be a excellent moderator. If not for the fact that the Shinobi Legends moderator positions are full, I think he would be a sure in.  However, with the emergence of the upcoming bleach game, I think Leaf's name could be on top of the pool of possible moderator candidates.

I definitely wouldn't complain.

But as stated before... (Other moderators and staff) that more moderators aren't necessary at this point, correct?

But of course, friendships control a lot of a person's mood...

I, on the other hand, don't let that get to me and stay true to equality.

Just because we all know him and he's a good kid doesn't mean he's any different than the others that applied for a moderator's position.

And what happened to the other applications?

Nooo! My cover has been blown!

*Takes out a pistol and waves it around.* Back! Back you fiends! Back I say!

There are some pros as to making Leaf a forum moderator though... Such as that one.. and very heinous and rather disturbing night..

I hope that doesn't happen again.

Yuup, in the game applications part, he said he wasn't looking for anymore mods, only if an opportunity opens up, maybe Kboogi's spot? hahaha, kidding. >.>

thanks, anbumiko, for your doublepost and the very very big picture.

I took the liberty of removing it.... if you keep posting unnecessary large pictures, you will make me angry.

i also think he would be the perfect moderator...... only one thing, lose the attitude. writing "geez...." at the end of one of your posts isn't necessary, it's usually done to infuriate other people or show your extreme dislike of something which isn't a good quality.

So I'm bad quality for a moderator, Asdfjkl?

ACtually asdfjkl... I've only said "Geez..." once out of my one-thousand-something posts... I sense no attitude in my posts and I don't believe anyone else does either. And besides... are you really one to comment, Asdfjkl?

The reason as to why I said "Geez..." is because I didn't appreciate how you publically lied about the moderators saying that they struted their power around these forums... so yes, I did have an attitude towards your attitude against them... but, who wouldn't?

And it's not to infuriate the other, and if it is, I did not use it in those terms. I used it to show fustration at the topic you made, nothing there had anythiing to do with you. There you go running around in your circles/putting words in your mouth. ;)

" are you really one to comment, Asdfjkl"? thats shows attitude to me. ;) "There you go running around in your circles/putting words in your mouth. " and theres attitude in that to. don't you agree, don't you think that when i'm reading these two lines i feel insulted? because i don't feel deeply insulted but somewhat insulted. i still think you should be mod but i think your arguing with me because you don't understand what i was trying to say in my other topic. i'll open it up so we don't bring that discussion here. and to lebis, you are just straightforward with people, you tell them what you think without beating around the bush. thats who you are. your straightforwardness can be taken as disrespectful but it depends on who your talking to. different people interpret different thing differently. i've only seen you insult when you argue with people. for example the guy who wanted to be a mod and started questioning your authority since you thought he wasen't good enough and when you argued with that guy in the donations thread. you had a right to be mad but instead of arguing with them i think you should've let it go since your a mod and should be regulating stuff not arguing with stupid people. if they got you mad to the point where you wanted to insult or argue with them than you just should've closed the topic before making the comment.

Well.. Since Asdfjkl decided to be an idiot and bring up a topic that was ALREADY locked... I guess I have to lock this one too.

Thanks for making my day worse, sweetheart.

baluski what do u think, should moderators keep thier cool more or should they be free to critize and insult. it barely happens but the times that it does happen is it appropriate?

i don't care that i double posted :P this is about leaftoad being a moderator. baluski i think you should lock it if people keep bringing up my beliefs vs. thiers since they know i'm right. ;) but seriously, this is about leaftoad not me or mods

Basically, the only time I've seen a Mod lose their temper is when it's absolutely deserved. The member(s) had a condescending additude and definitely got what was coming. Now I'm not one for showing anger when it can be kept unsaid, but sometimes it's neccesary to snuff out a fire before it becomes a blaze, if you know what I'm saying.

Anyways, this isn't the right topic to be discussing this and will be locked soon enough. Sorry, Leaf.
