New Feature: Reinforcing Ninja Tools (excluding food items)
Details:
- Reinforced version of any Ninja Tools will not get destroyed upon death, or when killing Orochimaru.
- Reinforcing an item does not require a recipe. only a Metal Ore.
- Metal Ores are randomly dropped by forest enemies, and can also be found in mines.
- Reinforced items will have "Reinforced" added to the front of their name (example: Shuriken > Reinforced Shuriken). Their stats (damage) however, will remain unchanged.
- Reinforced items cannot be used in forging.
- Forged items can be reinforced (excluding food items).
I'll try to do the coding if the idea is green-lit.

Do you mean extended? >>
-
Nope, I meant "Expanded" (fixed), as in an expansion. Not like it's important thou. Anko's Workshop will still be Anko's Workshop in-game.
-
Not too shabby. If this was thrown together with the few new recipes I've been planning, Anko's Workshop could see a fair bit more use after.
-
I think Anko's rack might have been expanded too, though that could just be my imagination.
I like the idea, though that means anything I want to sell beforehand (nuggets, bejeweled daggers, etc.) I would want to do beforehand since now there is a greater chance of those being the destroyed items instead of the tools on hand.
-
I'd need to make some serious changes to the item system for it.
Currently, I lean more towards more and more interesting recipes - and the expansion here as a second thing.

The ninja merchant hardly sells anything as is, any chance to adjust the chances of that?

What would you like to see and why? =) I can expand if necessary, but not rarer items which make sense to be dropped.
