I'd give up on the socks. They're only going to rise in price. I bought mine for 2 keys.
Fish will also rise so you're pretty much screwed.
A guy owes me 15 keys though, so I might buy another before they explode in price and let you buy it from me when you have the amount (3-4 keys) instead of having to save 7+ or something.

So I was asked to sub for Stones in highlander today. We lost horribly.
BUT. I was MVP even though we lost. Out of everyone. 22-7.

Spycicle is too good.

Forgot it melts when you're up against Pyros.
Couldn't figure out why q wouldn't bring back my knife when I tried to backstab the Pyro who melted mine.

If you come across a pyro, use your gun. When he lights you on fire, cloak and swap to the spycicle. You have two seconds to make a getaway. With the ambassador, it's often possible to kill the pyro before he gets in your range.

I've got an Ambassador/Spycicle/CnD on my A loudout spy. This was when the entire team went Spy.
It was glorious. The other team couldn't believe we actually did it.
Kind of like when we all went powerjacking pybro one time.
And then there was all pandemonium on Doublecross. Waffles and I had several glorious duels. He won them all, unfortunately.
I want another fish duel with Zixer now though...

I could see that loadout working, but you usually want a longer cloak with the spycicle. I only use the CnD during round setups and the rare koth map.

What gives you the longest cloak?

Invis Watch: 10 seconds, can pick up ammo boxes while cloaked to make it last longer
Cloak and Dagger: 6 seconds while moving continuously, 60 seconds if crouch-walking, no ammo box collection
Dead Ringer: 6.5 seconds, can pick up ammo boxes while cloaked to make it last slightly longer

I still like the DR but it messes with my stats. The Invisi Watch also dominates the competitive scene. The DR has decent uses, but the watch is more versatile.

DR is good for maps like KOTH Harvest Final, I've noticed.
