Village Square / When Succ meets another Succ
« on: April 03, 2018, 12:46:08 AM »
This is a topic that probably should have happened a long time ago, but we lacked any cannon evidence to formulate a proper response anyway, So perhaps it’s only natural that this discussion were to happen now, only weeks after the Manga gave us the best possible example of this happening, and the results of such.

The particular event that I am referring to is when two chakra absorption techniques come into contact with one another.

In my opinion, this is something the community has tiptoed around for a long time, with how unsure people are of what exactly would happen when an event like this occured. In the past, I have generally requested that the two cancel one another out, that way we don’t have to go into very detailed longistics of technique mechanics. Obviously there was a degree of common sense when observing this; Like if a single droplet of Kirisame touched a preta path barrier, it wouldn’t result in cancellation, because Preta path was obviously far stronger than that one droplet.

Much to my surprise, in the most recent chapter of Boruto (chapter 21; page 39/40), my general assumption was confirmed when two techniques produced by the newly introduced ninja tool technology clashed, resulting in complete cancellation of both. This was a great leap in our understanding of technique mechanics, because the only previous example we could draw from was when Hashirama used Wood Dragon to bind Madara, and stop him from using preta path. The glaring issue with this was within the technique’s ability as a whole. The Wood Dragon jutsu has the preexisting feature of negating other chakra absorption techniques. This, in my opinion, is the only reason it was able to stop the preta path. Mind you, this is a feature that the Dragon already had, pre Rinnegan introduction, because Hashirama was using this technique well before Madara attained the Rinnegan, considering he didn’t unlock it until he was already dying of old age. I only mention that to crush the possible idea that Hashirama specifically made the wood dragon to counter that barrier, which may come up in later discussion.

When taking this into consideration, I believe chapter 21 has provided the only viable example we have for this situation, which brings us to the question I’m about to propose:

Does the community agree with my thesis? That when two absorption techniques of similar power clash, they result in complete nullification of one another.

When discussing this with Kamui, he believes the chapter was not a solid enough example to assume this is what happens when all chakra absorption techniques come into contact, but I disagree. He made mention that it was likely an isolated incident, only occurring because the two techniques used were identical.

As a community, we have accepted more with less evidence. Such as the summation that Rinnegan was obtained because of the merging of Senju and Uchiha cells, which was debunked later, yet still applied within the mechanics of our game for ease of access. With the increased number of chakra eating abilities within SL, it only makes sense that we should use this prominent example as impromptu law to avoid conflict in the future. I assert that this is a fine outcome, and can be applied in multiple situations without any greif, only leaving the question of technique quality to be determined on a case by case basis.

I welcome someone to challenge this assertion.

Well, things may not go just as Madara thought. As revealed in Boruto chapter 21; page 39&40, when two absorption techniques are used against one another, they cancel out. So when Madara sprouted his barrier in attempts to counter Rusaku’s onslaught, he would soon find an unusual result. Upon contact, Madara’s barrier would indeed begin to absorb the nutrients that gave the trees life, but at the same time, the mokuton performed it’s duty to deprive the barrier of it’s own sustaining force. Unfortunately for Madara, this chain of events would happen the moment the first set of branches touched the edges of his barrier, meaning there remained an entire wave of the exact same trees moving to wash over the Uchiha. An Uchiha that also emoted an intentional hesitation of several moments while the Jinton and Mokuton were being absorbed. Obviously he wasn’t thinking that his barrier would meet such a fate, so this plot twist might take him by surprise. Now faced with the threat of impending attacks, only inches away considering the size of the average preta path barrier, Madara lacked the necessary time needed to utilize the Kamui teleportation to its fullest, requiring to swirl entirely into the eye in order to fully move his physical body to the other dimension. Having only just used the intangibility variant of Kamui, it can only be surmised he was using that particular version of the technique to perform that action.

With Madara’s attack likely interrupted, Rusaku shifted the kata he was performing the one necessary for the shadow clone technique. True to nature, two explosions of smoke erupted in front of the Jinchuruki which spawned a duo of clones, mirroring the original in every way. Without hesitation, the two lept into action, disappearing in flashes of golden light. Utilizing their unmatched speed and the visual cover that Madara was so aptly attempting to manipulate to his advantage, the two moved to position himself on the left and right sides of the Uchiha - slightly above the river of trees -  their arms reared back. Thrusting their hands forward, each clone performed the Vacuum wall palm technique, moving to crush the area where Madara’s negative emotions where currently located, using that as a means of tracking the opponent. The Kurama enhanced jutsu would rain down upon Madara, moving to crush him alongside the numerous other attacks that aimed to bombard that location. All of which were manipulated with such finesse that such a combination of assaults could be allowed to happen.

Rusaku blinked upon noticing the disappearance of Madara’s signature; Negative emotions included. The shinobi understood full well that his jutsu was powerful, but did the fight really end there? Rusaku’s excitement for the battle to come wavered for a moment, almost regretful over the premature ending. Of course, the Tenseigan lacked the penetrative vision of the Byakugan, so in order to inspect the soon to be regenerating body of Madara - considering his edo state - Rusaku felt necessary to get a better look at the situation at hand. Utilizing the Hiraishin once again, Rusaku relocated himself to where Bocchiere was currently waiting. With the tree that puppet was located on quickly growing to be the tallest point in the area, it was only the most natural place to position himself. In a flash, the Otsutsuki was gone - transported to the new location in an instant.

Landing gracefully, the shinobi moved to inspect where Madara had once been, only to find that his signature had reappeared where Rusaku had just moved from. Turning back to inspect this turn of events, the boy released a relieved chuckle “He’s not dead~ Wonderful! The fight can continue!”

Bocchiere turned his head to look in Madara’s direction, it’s attention caught by the display of chakra the Uchiha was outputting. Raising his hands upward, the Puppet manifested a number of small Jinton orbs within them. In unison, all of the orbs fired off, immediately arcing downward in order to create a hailstorm of attacks. Raining down, the orbs moved to penetrate Madara, punching fist sized holes in his body with the power of dust release should they be successful.

Rusaku brought his hands together once again in the snake seal, establishing control of his writhing Mokuton forest. Instead of opting for more trees to grow throughout a larger vicinity, the Otsutsuki manipulated the existing plant life to begin moving across the earth akin vines, their malleability becoming altered to allow the fluid movements. The trees quickly arced horizontally, and chased after Madara akin to a living organism. The growing forest lurched forward in a tidal wave, spanning as far back as the plants grew, moving to envelope the Uchiha and crush him under immense pressure. The foothold that the two shared remained stationary, allowing the duo to maintain their current elevated position over Madara. This would create a two fold attack, coming from above and in front of the opponent, hoping to limit available options for evasion.

All the while, the flowering bulbs began to bloom, releasing waves of the aforementioned pollen into the air, quickly undergoing it’s mutation as stated. Luckily Rusaku was able to manipulate the pollen so it didn’t hit himself or allies.

The very moment there was movement visible to symbolize Madara’s initiation of battle, Rusaku’s hands clasped together into the snake seal, two actions being performed in unison. The first would lack the requirement of hand seals at all, allowing him to focus the aforementioned Kata to the second action.

With a flash of energy, Rusaku’s body became engulfed in the golden cloak that dwarfed all imitators in alloted power. The Kurama chakra mode, utilized only by those who have synchronized their hearts with the Nine Tailed Fox. With this came an exponential increase to an individual's speed, power and attack potency of all techniques post activation.

With the snake Kata formed, and the gravitational effects of Madara’s attack beginning to affect Rusaku’s body, a massive surge of trees began to erupt from the ground as far as the eye could see. First, the trees began sprouting in front of Rusaku, in order to cut off the path between him and the chain attack, inadvertently forming a makeshift wall in the process. Then, from the ground between the two opponents, even more trees sprouted to intercept the chains, and ensnare them with immense raw power. Due to the nature of Rusaku’s mokuton, a trait attained during his time living and training within the Senju Grand Tree under Nathan, any foreign chakra touched by them would begin to be absorbed into them like nutrients.

Simultaneously, throughout the surrounding area, flowering trees ripped the earth apart as they grew,  uprooting the chains that Madara was planting underground in an attempt to erect a large Uzumaki barrier. At least that’s what Rusaku assumed Madara was planning. If allowed to reach maturity, the flowering bulbs would bloom, releasing a wave of pollen into the zone, attempting to permeate the breathable air. The effect of this pollen was simple: Upon contact with any solid surface, the pollen would mutate and begin to grow in the form of fungus.

With the path between Rusaku and Madara cut off, and the chains intercepted, the Otsutsuki lept into action. Using his newfound speed, Rusaku planted a foot onto one of the growing trees in order to kick off, disappearing in a flash of golden light indistinguishable from the “speed” of the flying thunder god. Moving fast, the young shinobi lept from growing tree to growing tree, creating massive amounts of distance between him and Madara’s last known location in only a short few moments.

While doing this, Rusaku extended a hand out and utilized the flying thunder god in order to summon a single human puppet onto the battlefield. This human puppet may even be recognizable to Madara, once he got the chance to actually see it after everything Rusaku had done up to this point. Bocchiere, the super criminal, appeared in a flash of light, falling gracefully onto one of the growing trees, and began to ride it upwards, high into the air. His purpose would be fulfilled later.

Once approximately 200 meters away, at the edge of his techniques area of effect, Rusaku came to a skidding halt, turning his attention back to Madara whom may still be dealing with the immense forest that was actively trying to crush and bind him from his cardinal directions. A small chuckle escaped from his lips. The Advent World of Flowering Trees was already a deadly technique, but to add the power of Kurama’s mastered chakra mode would create a waking nightmare for any whom faced it.

Jinchūriki: Rusaku Otsutsuki

Tails Mastered: N/A

Affiliation: Konohagakure/Otsutsuki Clan/The Foundation

Preferred Method: IC Hunt; 1v1

Preferred Zone: Surface of the Moon (OOC only)

Preferred Judges: Warren/Tobias/Miyuu/Up for discussion

Preferred Outlet: SL Forum

Special rules

-The match is to be a 1v1 death match, if the preferred method was agreed to be IC. However the match will be defaulted to OOC, if that player doesn't agree to *IC* terms of engagement.

-Victory for the challenger is the defeat of the host through any means necessary, and vice versa. Death in the fight does NOT equate to death IC, unless such a term was agreed upon.

-Skills acquired during an OOC match are not carried over IC. Similarly, knowledge of participants' abilities do NOT carry over to IC RP.

-*If, by some chance, the match should reach a point of true stalemate after a minimum of 30 days then a judge may be called in to determine a winner based on how the fight has progressed up to this point. Both participants must request this of the judge in person (I.E. Both fighters MUST send a PM for this option.] If this is chosen, then the judge may declare a  winner based on these criteria:

     • Who effectively manipulated the flow of the battle the best? The strategy employed (based on the posts) may have been defensive and attrition-based, but was it effective in the long run in wearing down the opponent?

     • What caused the stalemate? The challenger being unable to defeat the challenged, or vice versa? Is it constant cancellation of jutsu and techniques by both sides, or merely one side taking refuge in a relatively inaccessible area (such as pocket dimension) in order to avoid defeat entirely?

     • Who showed the greatest skill in the fight? This is completely and utterly at the discretion of the judge. His(her) decision is final on the matter, regardless of accusations of cheating or bribery or otherwise. This should be kept in mind when deciding on a judge for the fight.

-If neither side can be conclusively declared the winner, then the fight either proceeds or a draw is declared. In the case of a draw, the challenger may rejoin the queue of challengers after the latest challenger without having to wait for cool-down (this circumvention for the benefit of the challenger for not technically being declared the loser, though by not succeeding the host can be considered a winner in this situation.)
Note, this is a technical victory for the host, so unless the challenger truly believes that a restart is necessary to increase victory chances, then it is not recommended to settle for a draw without reviewing this process a second time.

-Must post at least once every seven days (168 hours). Though if a pattern of postings persists (I.E. If either player stretches their posting to the full seven days each and every post without prior notification to the other), then the challenge will be voided. The cool-down will be initiated to challenger (if challenger is problem) and the host will be stripped (if host's activity is problem).

- A judge *must* be picked before or during the first round of initial entrance posting by both parties, if the chosen judge makes a ruling that is deemed ridiculous by either party, a new judge may be chosen ONCE by either side. If the matter still can't be settled, it must be brought to the forums for a final decision.

-Everyone is allowed 1 repost. If you are found to be meta gaming, Retro posting, or God modding, the opposition is allowed to request your post be analyzed by the judge. If he/she decides the post contains any of those three things, your repost will be used to fix it. If your repost has already been used, then the actions effected by the illegal maneuver will be nullified and the opposition will be able to act accordingly. Example: If you try to counter an attack using meta game knowledge, the counter will have never happened and the opponent will be able to continue unhindered, likely resulting in a legal autohit.

-Can only use skills that are known IC at the official start of the match. No borrowing from others. No immediate power ups within the match.

-Discussion of non-allowed techniques will vary by challenger and discussed via PM, only, If a technique is used in the midst of the fight that was not voided beforehand, and is still considered god mod, it can be voided at that point. People’s profiles are often unorganized, thus it’s easy to sneak past obviously broken techniques into a fight and we should not reward that type of behavior. The caveat, though, is that the technique in question must be an egregious violation to the fairness of the fight for it to be voided after it’s began. This is decided in a three way conversation between the judge and two combatants.

-Inflammatory, racial, harassing, or abusive language aimed at each other either in the match or in PM will result in an immediate void of the challenge. If challenger, (s)he loses all rights to ever challenge the current Jinchūriki. If host, he loses the match and Bijū given to the challenger.

-In the event that a host is defeated, the new host has the cool-down challenge period time-frame to either accept the special regulations for the tailed beast or completely re-write or alter the special rules. If they do not post their own variant by the beginning of the next challenge, then it is to be assumed that they comply with the previous special regulations.

-If host defeated, allow host to finish up any roleplay that may involve having the beast. Then a reasonable RP will be concluded as to how the beast transferred hands.

Any questions, PM me please.

Judge: TBD

Location: Zone 7

Status: IC deathmatch

Madara and I have gone over what specifications are desired and will wait for a judge to be announced, depending on who agrees. Below will be the response to Madara's entrance, but the fight will be on hold until the final detail is ironed out.

“Such a ruckus...” Rusaku growled irritably, as his eyes fluttered open, coming to rest upon the zombified Madara Uchiha, whom had just come crashing down from the heavens. The youth had been dozing within the peaceful, snow covered forest in hopes of catching some well deserved shut eye, but it seems that wasn’t meant to last. With an exasperated breath, Rusaku began to levitate from his rested position, transitioning his body upright, so his feet were only inches above what remained of the snow covered ground. Folding his arms over his chest, Rusaku began to observe Madara’s features closer.

Rusaku was garbed simply; a sleeveless dark grey uwagi, a long-sleeved black undershirt with a turtleneck, a red sash, black pants and white boots. Across the chest of his black undershirt was a white necklace of Magatama embroiled into the fabric, and on the back of his uwagi was a similarly colored crescent moon, representing his allegiance to the Otsutsuki. Like Madara, Rusaku’s own eyes were elevated, colored brilliantly by the intricate floral pattern of the Tenseigan. Hidden under his clothes were a miridae of various seals and formula used inside and out of battle.

Within his mindscape, Kurama spoke gruffly, “An Edo Tensei zombie? Does he honestly think he can defeat us in his fractured state? I’m almost offended.”

This elicated a cocky smirk from Rusaku.

Sorry for the absence. A lot of real life shit happened in a very short amount of time and I was unable to dedicate myself to the role. I might not even be back for SL very much in general. I will maintain my duties as a host, but I probably can't participate in larger scale events for now.

You want the truth? Are you sure you can handle this?

The Potted Plant. Y'all ain't got shit on him. Dude is OP af. Legit God.

Kamui? Nah dawg, the The Potted Plant breaks all the camels backs.
Seraphim? Pffft, please (I'm too nooby to know this person)
Gyururu? The Potted Plant can handle her menstrual release anyday.
Tomi? Sorry dawg, The Potted Plant looks more like Minato than you do.
Yumei? He tried to make a bio for The Potted Plant. Why do you think he's gone?
Nathan? Loooool. Atleast The Potted Plant's advisor doesn't kick him out of his own clan.
Kite? The Potted Plant is...is a nice guy. Kite's a cool dude, he won't say shit about him.

"menstrual release" I'm dead.

Yeah, statements are inconsistent. Sarutobi is a perfect example of this, actually. He's stated to be the strongest of the 5 Kage, but if you compare him to the Raikage or the Tsuchikage, Sarutobi would get meme'ed on. At best I would say the third Hokage is at building level when he died, any didn't show anything too much bigger than that while an Edo with no commendable speed feats. Yet Onoki is island level(+) if you look at his Dust release feats and A is a lighting timer with lethal taijutsu. That's two of the other 4 Kage that are arguably superior to Sarutobi, casually.

Yet Hiruzen is somehow classifed as a God of Shinobi. Know who else has that title? Madara, Hashirama, and Hagoromo. So one of these people is not like the other when looking at the whole list.

You can also look at Tobirama. He was supposedly the best Suiton user, but Kisame blows any observable feat Tobirama has ever produced out of the water with a 30% clone. Statements are unquantifiable, and really have no place in meaningful debate, unless they can be otherwise supported with pannels.

And Shadow, Tobirama is my favorite Kage, but I don't agree that he's stronger than Minato. Tobirama himself said that Minato was better with FTG than he was while also having access to the Shadow clone technique and sage mode. You can't really count on his having the Edo Tensei for a fair comparison either, because he never displayed any zombies that he had on tap; his arsenal is an unknown. He could have an army of D rank ninja, or 1 S rank ninja. It's impossible to quantify, so it's not wise to use it.

Other countries had a "Run on sight" order if Minato appeared in the fight. He was able to defeat Tobi in a one on one fight, when 3 people working in tandem were unable to do anything against Obito in the war.

Tobirama on the other hand was able to ice Izuna Uchiha, who was supposedly on par with Mangekyo Sharingan Madara at the time, and was only killed by a group known as the Kinkaku force, composed entirely of S rank shinobi. I admit, he's nothing to sneeze at, but he lacks the feats Minato has.

You put Sarutobi underneath Kakashi and Tsunade? Why? Even if we are ranking strength purely by combative abilities, throughout the 3rd's entire reign, he was a force to be reckoned with, trounced only by power creep beyond storytelling abilities. He could easily wreck Tsunade on one of her good days without even breaking out the Reaper Jutsu.

And Tobirama underneath Minato? Tobirama invented hiraishin no jutsu, shadow clone jutsu, and Edo tensei; all of which he likely possessed (in the case of the first two mastered) during his time as Hokage. Minato has like, what, rasengan to his name? He did not have kyuubi during his time as Hokage so no chakra mode, not to mention his reign was probably the shortest of all of these Hokage.

Your argument is a non starter. In the power scaling community it's common knowledge that you can't use statements when measuring a character's power, only observable feats. Sarutobi has the least impressive feats across the board when you look at any of the Kage individually. Tsunade was able to shatter Madara's susanoo ribcage, who just episodes ago blocked a big ball rasengan from a perfect sage, which has the power to carve away a mountain. His Summon, Enma, wouldn't be able to block any of Kakashi's raiton based attacks. He was shown to take damage by Orochimaru's Kusanagi when clashing, but the Kusanagi couldn't cut though the hide of a version two tailed beast cloak. Yet Kakashi was able to produce lighting that cut through multiple version two cloaks like butter. To take it a step further, if you look at the Wikia pages for the two individuals their charts display a .5 difference in their abilities when quantified in Kakashi's favor.

Also, this is Sakura using the same punching ability that Tsunade posses, on a large scale.

Nothing Sarutobi has ever done compares to what Tsunade's student was able to do, and it's not an overreach to assume Tsunade can perform equally large scale feats.

as for Tobirama being stronger than Minato, that's debatable. Again, Minato has many more observable feats than Tobirama. His most admirable features are statements made by others. He was labeled on of the best Suiton users, but no technique he ever displayed even came close to what someone like Kisame was creating. He created the Edo Tensei, but never displayed any ability to summons zombies for use. So he has no zombie to summon should the two be pited against one another. Tobirama also expressed that Minato was better than he was with the flying raijin, which is supported by Minato's versatility. He displayed the ability to use multiple variants of the technique to serve a number of different purposes. In addition to that, Minato is also a perfect Sage. While he claims he isn't very good at it, his actions say otherwise. He entered perfect Sage mode, almost instantly, and was able to use a senjutsu Rasengan against Swagdara. He didn't even need the help of Ma and Pa to gather the energy, like his sensei did.

I get a general sense that this decision is motivated by personal insecurity of your own characters opposed to what is an objective outlook on the situation. You're also overestimating what can be done with a name and affiliation. Look at Dart for example, since he seems so worried that someone is going to find out anything about his character. If I have your name and affiliation I'm still going to have to deal with the fact you never step foot outside Kirigakure, which is surrounded by chakra eating mist and a million other defenses. Then, assuming I get past that, I have to deal with the entire hidden mist village in addition to you in order to do whatever it is I'm trying to do. The only thing that has become easier for me, is narrowing my search parameters, and maybe some knowledge on 2 of possibly 4-5 kekkie genkai depending on how you run your character.

Or let's use Eric as another. Eric Nara only gives me the information that you would have Shadow manipulation. If I otherwise knew nothing about you, I would still be in the dark on the entirety of your arsenal save for one Hiden. You could have any number of KG and I wouldn't be able to extrapolate even one (other than maybe whatever KG is related to the beast in question). Not only this, but The Nara Order wouldn't have registered as a blip on my radar, so I wouldn't even know where to begin when it comes to finding you.

That's two examples of why having a name and affiliation wouldn't equate to anything outlandish for the host in question to have, and even if you could extrapolate a fair amount of information, you still have to have the skill to follow up on it, which falls upon the host.

I also find it disturbing that people are so willing to conflate "easy" and "metagaming" into one concept. Just because one thing is easier to achieve over something else does not make it somehow against the rules.

As for knowing who has been a tailed beast host in the past, I'm sure plenty of us have extensive knowledge of previous hosts, save for those whom only lasted a handful of weeks at a time, and each can likely be proven by searching through old threads on this very forum. I know for a fact there is a thread where people were discussing the official release of what the beasts actually looked like however many years ago that was. Back when Toumaster had an 8 headed snake for the 8 tails. We ca go plenty far back to observe a great number of the hosts.

But really, if the community genuinely believes it's more fair to just have the beasts memory wiped, then fine, it's no skin off my teeth. I would actually be far better off, because I can't interact with a certain host right now because his beast would have information on me that would really stir the pot. I just want this decision made based on an objective outlook, and not people looking for another way to bury their heads in the sand.

Council / Re: Memories

Well, since we do not generally keep extensive track of who hosts what, it makes sense that the beasts would not either, from an OOC standpoint. Only for the sake of mastery is prior history a huge factor as far as the current rules go, and even then, as I said, there is not much of a concrete history of hosts that can be referenced in case the Council ever needed to make a decision there.

Just by default have the beasts not remember anything prior to the previous host at best or not at all at worse, unless these are memories regarding the current host/summoner is my thought.

But it makes no sense from a continuity standpoint, and contradicts the canon information we have. Kurama can recall his time with both Mito and Kushina. Why in SL would that fact removed entirely if not for one more reason to break immersion? Yomi and I discussed that perhaps a name and affiliation is fair considering there is little to gain from having just that information. You are still required to have the savvy to follow up on that for it to be worth anything.

I don't feel like arguing over minute canon semantics, much less whether I know better than someone else what exactly I've been doing past couple of years IC -Bocchi-ball in particular tried that, often, and never got it right-, so I'ma just not debate that >_> our debates never go well anyway Rusaku.

Just make it either a name and general personality, or simply nothing, then.

I'm trying to stop people from being able to abuse the ambiguity of our rules and the canon traits the beasts have displayed. There really isn't anything to debate, other than if it should be allowed or not, honestly. As I said with Eric, my opinion is to limit any possible information gain to name and affiliation. If we so choose that Name and Personality is better suited, then I can live with that. I'm here to establish regulation, not make it easier for people to have our entire history after a week with a beast we had a a year ago. The issue is, I also want it to be a fair regulation.

Last I heard the whole 'knew all techniques etc of prior host' has been done already, but I'm not gonna name names.

A beast can't know something it never learned, and you deciding it learned something of a prior host anyway is character control / metagaming. There's no point in convoluting it even further by trying to establish some kind of basic default stuff it'd know automatically by having been just hosted, that would make no sense.

If you want to learn something through one, ask the prior host what would the beast actually know of them, if anything. If they do know something, you have to actually make them tell you. If they don't, you're SoL.

If the prior host has left/quit/whatever, the beast would have just forgotten due to passage of time or whatever other reasons. They don't have perfect memories as seen with Gyuki.

I would have to say I disagree with most of your logic here. Kurama was able to remember Hagoromo splitting the beasts from over a millennia ago, and the exact speech he was giving them during that time. If he can do that, He can remember details about his host from 3 years ago if he was asked. Its also been established that the tailed beast is able to view the life of it's host as if it were looking through their eyes, so it's entirely within the realm of possibility that if a host learned something during their time together, then that beast would be able to pass on the knowledge of how to perform said technique.

You're trying to trivialize something that could actually come up as an issue, which I don't understand. I know you had Shukakku for a very long time, so Kamui could just as easily extrapolate as much information he wants from the one tails with a simple Sharingan Genjutsu. Even if Shukaku couldn't remember every event perfectly, hypnosis can solve that problem without issue, so long as he witnessed it in some facet. If we were not trying to establish rules here, then he would legally have all that information and you would be the one SOL. Like I said, there is no harm in stopping an issue before it arises.
