Bijuu Arena / Gedo Mazo FFA logistics (for participating members only)

Each of you 3 has been notified through mail of some sort, informing you of this thread. As the Council has failed to get anything done regarding this, I suppose it is up to us to take matters into our own hands. Their vote thread hasn't been touched in 8 days or so, so I will assume those who wished to vote, did, and it was unanimously set for a FFA.

I appreciate Eric's/Genesis' efforts for getting us this far, but their lack of presence as of late has required me to step back up. I expect the same attitude from the rest of you (Athos, Curse, Camel).

Now, I suggested a set of rules to be in place to govern this fight, so it ends as 'smoothly' as it has begun.

48 Hour post limit. ~40 Days. You miss, you get DQ'd.

To explain more clearly, you get two days to post, the fight will go on no longer than 40 days, and if you are absent for your posting date, you get DQ'd, otherwise we'd have to skip you, and what happens if you are in a position where you are being bombarded with attacks, and it is your defense? You can just 'get busy' and be placed in Limbo, free and null from damage? Seems exploitable and unfair to the other participants. I am willing to raise the post time limit to 2.5 days or 60 hours if we can agree to an insta DQ in the case someone doesn't post during their required time.

Any and all suggestions are welcomed from the each of you, and I do hope the rest of the community understands that we appreciate their help in forming this structured environment, and stays out. Cheers~

Council / Status: Bijuu Council

Alright ya'll, let's gather round and speak as objectively about the status of SL, it's authoritative bodies, and about those who are being restricted by said bodies.

We'll start with SL as a whole:

All in all there is about 10 people actively competing for beasts:
Kamui/Guruguru: Active, not forgotten. >.>
Rusaku: Actively involved in Bijuu Topics.
Ray: Actively involved in Bijuu Topics.
Jay: Actively involved in Bijuu Topics.
Manji: Sometimes active.
Shadow: Used to spearhead a lot of the Bijuu topics.
Madara: Actively involved in Bijuu Topics.
Athos: Actively involved in Bijuu Topics.
Yujo: Actively involved in Bijuu Topics.
Trev: Actively involved in Bijuu Topics.
Dart?
Teostra?

And there are...5 Council members?
Genesis: Active member of the council, spearheads most topics.
Chinote: I believe this sums up his status as a council member:
"I only 'volunteered' because someone else put my name in the hat and I didn't think I'd get enough votes to need to pull it out.

Whatever happens happens. If it continues, then I guess I'll keep doing it until I get voted out. If it goes away or I don't "win" the election, then whatever."
Eric: Semi-Active.
Hades: Same boat as Chinote, minus the passive-aggressive comments.
And as far as I know, that's it. The other members are either that inactive that they have been forgotten, or some other factor, because as far as I, or some other members are aware, there is no list of council members, anywhere. No public record of who actually makes, and enforces the rules.

From that list, as far as I know, only Hades (maybe) and Eric have ever been hosts. Let's really talk about that fact. There is a type of ruler, that A. Does not know the hardships his/her people face
B. Actively works against his/her people to make their lives more restrictive, and tiresome.

A dictator, or in this era: Communist. While I am aware this analogy is a bit extreme, but this is a shared sentiment by many of the hosts I've spoken to, and some non-host members of SL have expressed their apprehension to joining the 'Competitive' scene due to how restricted the hosts are. This council has displayed an oppressive attitude towards those they are making rules for, acting with complete disregard for it's hosts, and making the role of being a host 10x more difficult than the enjoyment received from being one is. How can a group of individuals, that know little of the trials a host must face, embody their ideals, and work for the betterment of it's people? The answer is, it cannot. Do remember, this is the Bijuu council, not the Shinobi Legends rule makers council, your jobs aren't to make things better for those who don't participate, because as I said, only about 10 people actually care about this stuff anymore, your job is to ensure a fair and fun environment for the Jincks, and those who wish to participate in Bijuu affairs, to which you have failed horribly.

The word stifling exemplifies the collective work of this council and it's ideals.

My suggestion: Elect individuals who can show empathy for the hosts, those who CARE about the game we play, and quit making this GAME a tiresome bore because they disagree with things. Objective, empathetic people, who understand what it is to be a host, and work for the betterment of 'this' community.

Bijuu Arena / Bocchiere vs Yujo: In Conclusion

Special Rules:

-The match will be OOC for the benefit of both participating characters. This is essentially to prevent either playing from having to deal with the hassle of dying IC, and additionally leaves both participants free for IC RP during the match. Thus, though the match will be OOC, participants must still RP as their character, exactly as if they were IC, with the addition of following any decided voids, nerfs, etc.

-The match will strictly be 1v1, to prevent any complications arising from extra participants. The player remaining alive retains Gyūki/Isobu. The player that is killed will neither gain nor lose anything else. Essentially, this means the match is strictly about the beast and thus nothing else will be changed as a result.

-If desired, a logical RP can be worked out for a reasonable and plausible IC transfer of the beast to the next host.

-No match will begin without a judge agreed upon beforehand.

-You must have a biography/profile detailing what abilities and techniques you have, which includes your mastery in your abilities. Techniques used that are not listed in your profile will be voided. The same will go for notable skills and abilities not explained in your profile. Exceptions for this are General Skills, such as Tree Climbing Practice or Water Surface Walking Practice. Simple nature manipulation such as producing a small gust of wind to re-balance yourself or causing some water to flow into your mouth to drink is fine as well. Combining techniques on the fly, such as using a wind technique to empower a fire, is also exempt from this.

- If, by some chance, the match should reach a point of true stalemate after a minimum of 30 days then a judge may be called in to determine a winner based on how the fight has progressed up to this point. Both participants must request this of the judge in person (I.E. Both fighters MUST send a PM for this option. Stipulation: If for whatever reason after the prerequisite 30 days has passed, and either combatant cannot further fight his/her opponent, that person must speak with the judge, explaining that position; at which point the fight's judge will decide if the fight will be concluded upon his/her decision, or will continue] If this is chosen, then the judge may declare a winner based on these criteria:

•Who effectively manipulated the flow of the battle the best? The strategy employed (based on the posts) may have been defensive and attrition-based, but was it effective in the long run in wearing down the opponent?

•What caused the stalemate? The challenger being unable to defeat the challenged, or vice versa? Is it constant cancellation of jutsu and techniques by both sides, or merely one side taking refuge in a relatively inaccessible area (such as pocket dimension) in order to avoid defeat entirely?

•Who showed the greatest skill in the fight? This is completely and utterly at the discretion of the judge. His(her) decision is final on the matter, regardless of accusations of cheating or bribery or otherwise. This should be kept in mind when deciding on a judge for the fight.

Village Square / So...Flight Technique.

So my understanding from watching the Anime was that this was a Iwagakure exclusive like Dust release, or the Uzumaki's Minds eye. Only three people were shown to have this technique in the anime and all of them were Tsuchikage, and yet I see several names on the claims list here that have never been tied to Iwagakure in ANY way, and definitely weren't Tsuchikage.

Bijuu Arena / Another Kiri Strip; Featuring Eiko!

So, as you all probably know, I have been going after the Sanbi since my return in JULY, some 4 months ago. Since the stripping of Isaribi, till the waiting game of Kiri taking their time to seal the beasty, and then the 3.5 round fight between Eiko/Death that lasted longer than a month. Since the fight between Eiko and Death began I quieted down, and allowed them their fight until Death eventually quit, 10 days ago. I message Eiko the next day, so October 18th, saying this,

To which I got no reply, 9 days later, I will say, she did at least open the message, so it's not as if she did not receive the message, she just chose to ignore it. Now, I go searching around SL to find that her last public RP was some 14 days 16 hours ago, well past her rightful time to get on and post for activity, and frankly if we are deeming a post like this acceptable, then another post will made to discuss that,

(14d16h) <霧隠> Kaguya Eiko presumably walked along the street at some point in her wonderful life, just to theoretically show that she was, well, still around. But, to most, she was a shadow, dispersing amongst the crowd. Must have been after the events of certain things.

If I am the only one reading, "This is my obligatory post so I don't get stripped for the next 14 days..." Then I don't know what to think anymore.

I am now, again, pushing for the immediate strip of Eiko of the Sanbi, on these two counts: One, Blatantly ignoring the obligation to her challenge list, without any prior warning or even the attempt at contacting me, and of course the 14 day activity rule. And after more hosts than any village during my time on SL have been stripped from there I am not pushing for a strip for the beast to be returned back into their possession as they have time and time again proven themselves to be unfit to host beasts, with Dart going inactive during his fight with Trev, to the multiple Isaribi posts, and now Eiko, I am pushing for the beast to be placed in the possession of Eiko's next challenger, Me, of course.

If any of you wish to see screen shots of any of the above, I can provide them to you, but I think at this point we all know what the deal is.

Village Square / Death to the Wondertwins!

So, I have already informed some of you of the proceedings that were carried out within the Amegakure clan halls, but since Kage decided to try and Void the entire Rp, a forum post will be made to decide whether Ichirou and Masane are dead, due to the actions that I will explain next.

Okay!

So, I befriend the duo (Ichi/Masane) OOC, through PM's in the hopes of being able to infiltrate Ame by using their trust. Keito, the leader of Uzushiogakure went to Ame in the hopes to make friends, they declined. Ame and Uzu are on bad terms because of this. (My IC reason to go and kill off some of the 'big hitters of Ame', in case we still need those) SO, I tell Ichi/Masane that I am coming to visit them, this was also OOC, they tell me to come. My first IC post in ame they let me in, and all three of our characters meet for the first time. It's actually explicitly stated that they have never met, in the RP, giving them no reason to trust me as they did.

Time progresses and it ends up being that IC I figured out that Ichi was an Edo and I said I would help revive him, of course this was a lie, but they hadn't caught it. We get down to it, and Masane releases the edo on her brother, he dies, and I take Masane's hand, who at this point has no reason not to trust me, has no sensory technique active, and I have already emoted that I have seals running up and down my forearms and palms. With her hand in mine, I seal her away with Uzumaki Sealing.

It stopped there because they involved Kage and he began threatening that he would void the RP on the grounds that he is the leader and can do that. Obviously I told him that was BS, but he went ahead and did it anyway. So here we are. Below this, I am going to post the ENTIRE Rp through screen shots, including their reasons for voiding the RP and such. And in case you don't want to read through five pages of screenshotted RP, scroll down to the final two screen shots. They will contain the most important info regarding this case.

So, Today marks the 22nd day since the end of the current 3-tailed Jincks grace period, without a commencement of any battle between the Jinck, and the first challenger.

I was told from the first challenger that he will not begin any sort of Rp with her until the RP in Iwagakure is finished, which by now has been going on for more than a month, and continues onward.

Now, I have been patient for over 3 weeks for this thing to just start, and frankly I think it is quite unfair to make someone wait for a village wide RP to finish before a bijuu battle is to start. Due to this, I am now making a push to remove the first challenger from his spot, and allow the Bijuu to be rightfully fought for.

If any of you think I am in the wrong for this, leave your constructive opinions here, same goes if agree with my stance.

So, as you all know of my ambitions, to have a fair shot at the Sanbi, an endeavor I have taken on since I was stripped nearly a year and a half ago.

 When I returned from a short Hiatus, I challenged Isa under the pretenses described here:

 Now, if you have taken the time to read through, you will know he declined for reasons that were later found to be false, validating my challenge.

 Shortly there-after I stripped him, the Sanbi went to Kiri, they sealed it, I waited the two weeks. Cool.
 So my question is to you all, being as my challenge didn’t just disappear after Isa just up and declined, it was still on the table, even after he was stripped; Would Eiko have to prioritize my challenge above her other challenger due to the reasons described above.

 TL;DR: Isa declined challenge, wrongfully. I stripped him. Should Eiko have to fight me before all others due to the above.

If this isn’t obvious proof of prejudice in what challenges she accepted under her grace period, then I surely don’t know what to tell you. SO even if you don’t agree with the fact that she should have to take on my challenge to isa, then the proof is here of that she accepted his challenge before the grace period was over, but declined my own.

Village Square / Finding Sanbi: A Tale of Stripping.

As most of you know, the 23rd was a week from the time Kiri was given to seal the beast, they failed to do so, again because of inactivity not fit of dealing with Bijuu, a recurring theme. Today is the 24th, the 8th day from when the topic stripping Isa was locked. The rules were clear, out for everyone to read em, Kiri simply failed to follow them.

I am now calling for Kirigakure to be stripped of the Sanbi, and be placed in the first challengers possession. (Me)

Below I will be providing two examples (Timestamps included) from two different people, stating what will be the rules Kiri is to follow concerning the beast and it's sealing, not a single soul debated them, so they were accepted. Now there is a poll going on to make those amendments official, and as you can probably tell, with resounding support from the community, pretty easy to tell what's going on.

I will also be posting the messages sent to Isa, where I challenged him, and he refused for a reason that was argued by several individuals and generally accepted to be a misconception on his part, and that my challenge was in fact valid.

Pretty much comes down to this

If you think Minds Eyes is enough to find Isa and he denied Riku then the solution is strip or force him to accept the fight.

Inactivity. This host as been inactive many times, and is known to get on and post when he is near being stripped. In fact he's already been gone for another 8 days. If you believe past transgressions are enough, strip him

If you don't think the inactivity has been to big/ don't think people have found a legit way to find out he is a host to challenge him, no strip.


My opinion: Isa has gotten to many breaks with his inactivity. Strip him, give it to Xia or Dart to give away (or keep). They get one week to seal it in someone (ONE WEEK, not what you guys with the Nibi that took months). Then people may pursue the new host as they seek. Also Isa too may choose to attempt to regain the beast from the new host just like everyone else. Should he win it back, perhaps he'll be a bit more active after having been stripped once.

Also would like to include my amendment about how the bijuu is handled when the village chooses a new host. Seems like Trev already added it in. 1 week to find a host and rp. No more than that.

It's been 14 days total for this topic. No one has opposed to stripping him so much as giving thoughts on the topic. With no one opposing and only those voting for stripping I'd assume it's safe to lock this topic and notify Dart, Xia, and Isaribi.

Previous hosts have input and current ones have.

The two people I have quoted here, Trev and Shadow respectively.

According to the databooks, both of their sensory doesn't guarantee you can pinpoint the Sanbi within me. Plus, you will have to know my chakra signature to begin with in order to accurately lock and hone in on them. We have no recent RP history, especially with you consistently going inactive after losing your bijū challenges.

If you want to pursue this path, then you need to obtain and engage in actual IC hunt where I am allowed access to the RP to ensure that you obtain the information legitimately and ICCly.

If nobody is currently awaiting battle, or in battle, I would like to challenge you, Mr. Isaribi to a battle for it. OOC 1v1 as stated on your challenge list. If you wish to know how I know of your status as a Jinck, I would simply offer that I am a sage mode user with the Minds eye of kagura, which would span 30 kilometers, which is about 19 miles or so.
