can you search for a specific person to pvp?

No,you have to search the fields,local dwellings via Hamlet registry; treehouses,cityhouses castles( no access for you yet) ;)
That's how PvP is played out you hunt for your opponents.
It's all manual searching not automatic.

the warriors list might give you a hint of the location =)
