Okay i thought of an interesting event.
You are walking through the forest and you hear shouts.You see ANBU members around a giant exploding tag that could detonate any minute.You either
A.Run for your life
B.Go closer
A.1 you hear an explosion and a shard hits you and you lose half your hp
A.2 you hear cheering from the ANBU
A.3 you get away and forget about the bomb
B.1 the ANBU need your help because some sound ninja set this tag up near a supply route so they ask you to deactivate it.The two options could be cut part of the top part of the tag off or the bottom(kind of like the red wire blue wire scenario)and you die and lose charm if you lose or you get it right the ANBU give you a bunch of gold and gems.(60 chance Kaboom-40 chance you win)
B.2 the ANBU need your help fending off the sound ninja so you fight the sound ninja and if you lose you die and lose charm or if you win then you get a lot of exp. and a bunch of exploding tags.
So what do you think?

*puts on his Jack Bauer costume*Okay we have 24 hours to find and deactivate the bomb while kidnapping the president so he doesnt betray the country then ill go and bomb the Pacific ocean to destroy the city of rapture so they dont unleash their army of big daddies upon us.Another regular day at work. :cool:

There have to be at least 20 sound ninja. If the bomb goes off in the run away event then you lose all forest fights because the bomb created a forest fire. You shoul also have a choice to fight the anbu instead of the sound nin, if you fight anbu +evil, sound fight gets +good. Evil and Good can be switched to chaotic and good, maybe no gem reward either.

and then even after beatin the nin you gotta deactivate the tag which is one of those old tags that cant easily be stopped

Well that wouldnt make sense because the tag would be detonated with another tag so the sound nin dont kill themselves and they just notice the ANBU trying to deactivate it.And if you kill the ANBU then you helped the sound nin so they will let you get away too.

But if you do deactivate the bomb THEN you could also fight the Sound ninja.

If that were to happen then it should be an event that only happens on a special day (Halloween :twisted:) and should be extremely rare as 20 people don't find it consecutively. Something like that. And you shouldn't lose all your gold and exp since everone died and no one can take it and you learn not to stay in the forest so long or something like taht. OR you could just forget all that and make it where instead of dieing you just lose around 250 points, it doesn't have to be on a special day but it should be rare.

250 is a bit much, most of the newer and lower ranked players wouldn't survive that....maybe have it take their hp down to 1 no matter where it's at, then lmaybe you lose a travel or a forest fight or two due to injuries.(or to be especially evil lose all forest fights)

I think you should lose 10 forest fights and all health but one. Then it comes up in the news, (Name) set off an explosive in the forest.

maybe, I like the idea of "If you're the one to set the forest on fire you're not aloud to go back in for a day" (No forest fights until next day)

Hmm you could make an extension instead of everyone dieing you could say something like.
While wandering through the forest you see some smoke rising from the distance.
1.Investigate
2.Go back.
1. you find the corpses of several Anbu and *insert name of person who died here* you either
1.A search the bodies
1.B leave.
1.Aa you find several explosive tags.
1.Ab the corpses rise up and lead by *person who died in the explosion* attack you for disgracing their bodies.
It could be then like a pvp and count as one but you cant use items and you lose some chakra and no running away.The level could be 1 more then yours and as for stats well i have no idea.
1.Ba As you leave you turn back and see several corpses rising from the ground you then run as fast as you can and trip on a twig and lose some HP and charm.
1.Bb you leave without any problems.
2.you go away from the smoke.
So what do you think of the extension?

Well it is a bit interesting.It doesnt have to count for a pvp.But fighting zombies versions of another player is kind of fun.Of course it would have to be once per game day.

but we already have the basic idea of fighting the nin and all that, you're just adding another whole event when we already have one.

I already improved all I'm going to. Your idea was making the original idea too long, it's like two events in one

I would but i am terrible with cut and paste. :oops: but it is the original except if you kill the ANBU then you automatically live but you become evil and if you kill the sound then you live and become good.

Finally it would be a good idea to know what EXACTLY this topic is revolving around, the basic idea.
After reading this topic I realized that other people were trying to revise it and what not...so what is the main idea and the useless posts here don't make it any better.

Well the main idea is fight sound nin or anbu to help set off or defuse a bomb.The third option is defusing the bomb with a 50% chance of it going off and killing you and a 50% chance of it being defused and the grateful Anbu give you a reward. That all falls under the go and investigate option and the walk away option is a 50% chance that a piece of shrapnel hits you and you lose some hit points or nothing happens.

Posted event with all that I think should be there. More text should be added and if the rewards are too much then We can change them.
You stumble into some Anbu zipping past you in the forest
A. Check it out
B. run away
If B- 80% chance of "You hear the Anbu cheering and go on with your day" (nothing happens)
20% chance of "You hear some faint screams right before feeling your consciousness slip"
(you lose 90%-95% of your remaining health and lose 20% of your turns for the day due to being unconscious)
If A- 10% chance of "You run towards the anbu's direction. You see the anbu heading your way now, tailing close behind is a huge explosion!" (You lose 95% of remaining health and 25% of your turns for the day due to being unconscious)
90% chance of "You run towards the anbu and hear some cheering when you arrive. You ask an observing anbu what had happened and he explains to you that a group of sound nin had planned an attack on the leaf. All of a sudden sound nin bursts out of the trees at full speed.
A. Defend the leaf and engage the sound
B. Surprise the leaf and engage the anbu
If A- Fight the sound nin
Group of 6-12 normal forest enemies but a level above you
Reward: 3 Explosive tags, 1 greater explosive tag, 500-800 gold and 80% chance of a gem 50% chance of 3 gems and access to optional next part
If you die you lose 6% of experiance and all you gold and a gem
If B- Same as above but 4-6 nin and 2 levels above you
Reward: Same as above 50% of a gem and 10% of 3 gems
NEXT PART (Anbu Captain and up)
After cleaning up and getting your battle rewards you see the Sound nin/anbu staring at you amazed.
A. Attack them
B. Bow and take your leave
If B- You leave and get nothing else
If A- You fight them
Fight a mob of enemies depending on what they are. Mob should be 9-12 and 2 levels above you.
If you win you get 50% of 1-2 gems and an increase in alignment (fighting sound= Good fighting anbu= Evil)
Losing earns an 8% drop of your experiance and losing all your gold and 7 gems (they loot your body)
Personally I like it like this but I'm sure there'll be issues

Its good but what about defusing the bomb?And if you were fighting for the anbu wouldnt they back you up and same thing for the sound nin?

The idea is that you kill them so fast that they're amazed, thus linking to the other event. And I took the defuse thing out because how could you get there in time if you don't know what's happening and the ANBU barely have time?

Shikamaru's a good guy. But it was originally TCA's idea (kind of dull though) but then I spiced it up. Then Shika did his thing, then me and TCA combined our super powers to make it so complex it was OVER doing it, then I compromised and made it good enough to get passed. Now we're waiting for Neji or Baluski to look at it
