hey guys, because german is my main language i think: hey make a thread for the german translation. I have much time to translate and it should be funny :D

yo i search for some german guys or someone who can write german :D if they want to help translate the game in german, i think it should be funny so pm me or wrote down here. :D

Hey guys i'm a friend from KeitenJo and i will help him with the translation :)
I think it would be good when we translate this game to german so we can get new users and the community will grow. maybe we find someone who help us. when we find noone then we translate it without help from other guys :)

hi,
Keiten asked me to help him translate the online game here so i wrote something in this thread and would help him, i look naruto here so i would like to test this game here and i think it is funny :D 2 of my friends will help here to, because keiten told me translating here would be to much for 3 guys :)

With three people I've never heard anything about? That's strange, as I know nearly everybody that plays the game...
How can a language be funny if language is a serious subject? Isn't very precise accuracy required to make a complete translation? I don't know about you Oliver... but something doesn't seem right... I'd like to get to know... ALL three of you first.
I mean.. think of all the 'strange' and 'sickening' people that have been coming around... And now suddenly three new people come here wondering if they can translate a difficult language and make it 'humourous'?
Edit: Also... I'd like to add on..
I may be a bit of a dork sometimes.. and be rather foolish, but when it comes to things like severe disruptions occuring on the forums... and people who have JUST registered to simply ask if they can translate a language, German at that, I'm very cautious and secure about it.
I seriously... would have a VERY bad feeling about it if you let these guys tap into translating a language Oliver...

Besides.. all three people act the SAME towards the subject. Kind.. mellow... and they have that mood as to where they'll comply to anything you say. It's just way too suspicious.

i asked neji first to translate that alone, because i got a lot of time at the moment, he said i should search some other players, so i said its complicate to find german players other than neji^^, so i asked him if i can ask my friends to help me because naruto is new here ^^ and "we" love it :D and i found this online browser game before 1 month ago i think and want to help to make the game "complete" with the german language and i think some german people will find the site sometime and it should be great when they can play it in german. :D
so sry for a littlebit different english its late and i have not much time yet^^

Your English was far more advanced than that before.
And from one post... how your ability to even remotely speak it is shot down immediately.

No, "look over" would take too much time, there are about 18k textfragments (words, sentences, sometimes sections) to "look over" ... the translators need to be of high quality.
Exact grammar, proper spelling. (errors slip in anyways)
Only Keiten is registered currently, none of the others is.
I don't know =) but I also mentioned to Keiten that players have a reason to translate, people who don't really play don't have much reason to translate there, because server rewards are not appealing.

Wow, Lebis, take it easy on the guy(s?), they're only trying to translate after all...
If there won't be any "looking over", then how would we know if Lebis' assumptions are right? >.> If her assumptions are that they'll mess up on the language..

And when he said 'lol why do you think that?' I felt the atmosphere become more tense and nervous... Despite the fact it's just typed out characters.. I've always been able to have a certain way for figuring things like this out.
If you think I'm BSing you, you're wrong. Because I can guaran-damn-tee you that if you looked deeply into things like this you'd come up with a similar result.
I'm not trying to say that they WILL screw with the language... I'm just saying I wouldn't trust them.

I'm sorry if you guys get pissed, but I am currently taking german in High School. I've been taking it for two years and this is a great game, and honestly, I want to help out as much as i can.

I agree with Lesbis (I know its an old post). I've lied and bluffed on the internet before and it sounds like something I would say. Also we know he was screwing with us because the guys haven't posted since!

that was pretty bad German. I am German myself, so I can distinguish decent speech =)
your sentence should be like:
"Ich kann Ihnen beim Übersetzen ins Deutsche helfen, wenn Sie möchten"
It is not "wenn Sie mich wünschen" like "if you wish" in English.
Literally, your second part meant "if you want me closed"...

Exactly. I need one highly active person to be my direct contact of the translation team... and then some translators this person arranges stuff with (who does what etc)

und wenn ich etwas kann, dann ist es schreiben. mein englisch ist im ausdruck zwar schrecklich, aber ich verstehe alles und könnte also auch gut übersetzen. =D

hm. langsam würde ich gerne anfangen. zumal es jetzt auch viele deutschsprachige, jüngere narutogucker gibt, die nicht unbedingt gut englisch können, aber hier spaß haben könnten.. bzw. die erlösenden erfolge nach unzähligen boshaften taten nejis genießen könnten, uhm.. ja XD wie gesagt.. hab viel zeit. im sommer bin ich sowieso an geschlossene räume gebunden.. ehh~

Yes I agree I´ve seen people learning German for 5 years who couldn´t make a proper sentence but I´ve also know someone who learned in 4 years to speak (and write) in really good German

ich muss mich leider beschweren. einige übersetzer scheinen nicht zu bedenken, den lotdg-text in einen naruto-mäßigen text umzuschreiben. was suchen feen bitte in einer narutowelt? argh. und einige übersetzen wörtlich. ein wenig freiheit sollte man sich lassen und es "schön" schreiben. die variablen schränken einen genug ein. (zb "your" -deinem... "deinem shukaku verkaufen... usw) .. bitte passt mal etwas auf.
argh, und.. wenn ich dinge lese wie "ichiraku iruka" (sorry, wenn das durch variablen oder andere dinge entstand, die man auf den ersten blick nicht sieht) .. oder "die uhr an der hülle sagt folgende uhrzeit" wird mir schlecht. =__=

also, einige machen ihre arbeit verdammt gut. mithras inbegriffen. nur kommen zum teil dinge raus, die einfach zusätzliche arbeit machen. wenn zb. so ein acad, der das spiel noch gar nicht kennt, etwas übersetzt, kann da schon ziemlicher müll bei rauskommen. wie gesagt, sehr schade, da einige wirklich extrem gute arbeit leisten.
sag, neji. gibt es eine möglichkeit dich per messenger oder ähnlichem zu kontaktieren? würde gern mal ein paar worte mit dir wechseln =D würde dich auch nicht zuspammen oder so XD

jetzt grad muß ich noch zur Arbeit, eher so abends.
Ja, ich vertraue auf die Leute, die der Lead Translator auswählt ;)
Und wenns konkretes gibt, kann ich gern mal reinschauen und sehen, *wer* da übersetzt hat, und dann entsprechend handeln.
Acad oder nicht, es kommt drauf an wie gut er ist.

Ehm sorry ich muss mal den Acad in schutz nehmen er hat vielleicht am Anfang die Sachen die er übersetzt logd-mäßig gemacht, mitlerweile frägt er aber wenn ich on bin nach.
Zu manchen Übersetzungen muss ich sagen das sie aufgrund der Variablen noch ziemlich schlecht klingen und ich bin auch die ganze Zeit damit beschäftigt falsche auszubügeln während ich neue Teile übersetze.
-->Viele deutsche Player haben damit begonnen mir pm´s zukommen zu lassen und weisen mich jedesmal darauf hin...deshalb hab ich auch ein Zeitlimit von 3 bis 4 Monaten angesetzt um alle Schönheitsmakel zu
beheben, also noch ein bisschen Geduld (I hope)

also, das ging jetzt nicht direkt gegen den acad, das war falsch verstanden. das war doch der, der die hälfte von shinigami übersetzte, richtig? jedenfalls ist es einer, der gute arbeit leistet. nur ist es wahrscheinlich, dass er die ganzen naruto-bezüge, wie sie sein sollten, nicht in erinnerung hat etc, wollte keinesfalls gegen irgendwen schießen.

well hi guys well i want to help to translate this game too^^ uhhhm if you need some help tell me! Im german (15 yrs old^^) but i can speak well. it would be nice to help ;)

eigentlich finde ich ja, dass wir genug sind. wenn wir mehr werden, werden auch mehr unstimmigkeiten auftreten. aber wenn kingdonflon hier wirklich, wirklich gut ist... dann dürfte es weniger das problem sein. müsste aber dann wirklich schon überdurchschnittlich sein. noch mal so ein reinfall wie vor kurzem haut uns nur wieder zurück.
an dieser stelle nochmal n sorry an mithras und den rest, ich war die letzte zeit übersetzungsmäßig inaktiv. jetzt liege ich eigentlich noch mit ner erkältung flach, aber ich guck mal, was ich aus meinem schäbigen notebook rausholen kann. argh, und dann bald noch der umzug .. ehh, ich hatte wirklich vor viel zu tun, tut mir leid, leute =(

It´s allright Gi this was the last school week and so everyone of us had to work a lot (well I had and have to...) but know we have more time resources and after I finally finished my examen essay I´ll work as much as possible...
->So I don´t think we need another translator unless you proof that you are highqualified...

ginozeroth hier. ich möchte FallingJimmy fürs übersetzungsteam vorschlagen. sein englisch (deutsch ebenfalls) ist absolut makellos. es wäre wirklich eine bereicherung für das magere team. sollte er wieder erwarten mist bauen, werde ich dafür einstehen und alles ausbessern. gegen einen test hätte er sicherlich nichts. ich würde ihn auch an mithras stelle einweisen und ihm alles erklären. hoffe auf schnelle antwort.

nach dem chaos, was momentan herrscht und noch verbessert wird, würde ich sagen, dass kondaime vor der möglichen aufnahme ins übersetzungsteam gründlich geprüft wird. da mithras leider inaktiv ist und es schätzungsweise noch lange bis ewig sein wird, sollte nun auch mal ein neuer hauptübersetzer gewählt werden.

Ich denke, derzeit kann ich sagen, daß die Übersetzungen nicht mehr weiterverfolgt werden ;) es ist niemand mehr aktiv.

Na ja so schwer verständlich ist das Englisch hier auch nicht^^. Man kann es auch sehr gut verstehen ohne perfekte Englishkenntnisse zu besitzen.

Ich habe mich gerade (nach einer halben Ewigkeit..) gefragt, wie es wohl mit der Übersetzung steht.. Nun fühle ich mich schuldig, da ich einfach verschwunden bin.

Passt schon, das Schicksal hat alle Übersetzungen ereilt ;) c'est la vie.
Es ist schwer, sowas bei ständigen Weiterentwicklungen durchzuziehen - die meisten Übersetzungsprojekte von GNU-Projekten sind meistens abseits vom Hauptsystem und machen das auf eigene Kappe.
