I have been trekking up mountains as a hobby and I can say that every climb we do is a wonderful experience. The most recent climb we've had is at Mt. Maculot. The plan was just to go to the Rockies instead of the summit because it was the highlight of the entire climb.

This is from the stopover at the middle of the mountain. While it's just a glimpse of what can be seen at the Rockies, it caused excitement among the team.

Once we got to the Rockies, we are treated to a view of Taal Lake. A lot of bees and butterflies around.

View of the mountain

And a panoramic view from the Rockies.

Why is it necessary to have a screenshot, may I ask? Now I don't know for the rest of you folks, but I for one do not screenshot rp. From my own experience, I have pieces my rp saved on a Word doc because I know that the rp will eventually disappear by either a flood of rp on the public board or a dwelling I was using being deleted.
This.

I do the same word doc/notepad thing. Sometimes, if I can, I try to update my character's wikia page to reflect the said training/rp. I don't screenshot everything I do on-site.

Also want the have the rasengan show up on my bio too. Cause that is a tough mother to get and worth bragging about!

I agree it's hard to get Rasengan. Not exactly sure how it can be shown in the bio page, though will it be like an "achievements section" sort of thing?

Time sure is a funny thing in SL. People don't age yearly and seem to stay in their teens/twenties/thirties for who knows how long years. SL is where you see parents having nearly the same age as their kids, whether they are biological or not. But hey, things still work out in RP, right?

I had Yomi go through aging from a 17 year old to a 21 year old before I stopped. It's there she became involved in her village's activities so I kinda decided that 'okay, we'll have her stay at this age first until things settled down again'. Maybe if she became idle, I'll have her age again. Dunno, maybe I'll have her become 25 or 30?

I think I saw something like 'Add Images Module User Preferences' in our preference link. You can set it to 'No' if you don't want to see that little image, but I think it will hide the village pictures as well.

I downloaded and installed it out of curiosity about... two weeks ago? But after catching my first pokemon, I closed it and I haven't opened the app since then.

Game Related Discussions / Re: List of deletable wiki pages?
« on: March 25, 2016, 01:37:15 PM »
I think I got everything listed up there deleted. As for those "not properly deleted" pages, notifications of them being deleted by an admin will always show up. The way I see it, whenever you do a page, it'll leave a permanent mark on the wiki, though it won't show until you try to find it via the search option.

Thank you for listing some of the pages that need to be deleted, Bec. I'll admit, there're still a lot of housekeeping to be done in the wiki and I've only started on the removal of character pages that don't even exist in SL, and those are numerous on their own.

A list of should be deleted pages that anyone would find will definitely help us clean up the wiki. It can help us shorten the time in searching for these. If the others can help out as well, it would be really nice.

I won't write a long one here, because I think we already covered everything when we talked yesterday in the PMs.

But I'll say these again:
  • Everyone should have a say in anything that involves the community. Listen to both sides of the story.
  • When deciding what should be the best action, think of what's best for the community. Ask around, listen and have patience. Weigh your options. Try to foresee consequences.
  • Being in a position of power doesn't mean it's a free ticket to force anyone/a group to accept what you think is right. It may look like a promising spot, but in reality, it can be a hard job because it will require you to be neutral and set aside personal hurts every once in a while. Don't favor one side just because you don't like the other.
  • It's a matter of communication and talking civilly with those involved that problems and arguments can be avoided.
  • The community can become unbearable at times, but you might as well set a better example.
I do hope you'll do better if ever the chance comes up. Good luck.

Bugreports / Re: Server issues anyone?
« on: February 07, 2016, 03:45:23 AM »
Yep, I'm experiencing these issues right now. I can't access SL for about an hour then it's okay... then it starts to get laggy and inaccessible again. Oh well.

Feature Requests / Re: Pictures in SL rp?
« on: January 21, 2016, 05:16:40 AM »
Reference images can help a reader imagine settings a bit clearer, because it is indeed, a picture. However, I think painting a picture with only words is the somehow one of the purposes of forum roleplay, yes? It's a matter on how you can describe something to the point that your reader will be able to create a clear image of it in his/her head as if he/she is really right there or he/she can feel what exactly is happening on your post. It takes a lot of practice but in the end, you might surprise yourself on how well you can dish out such descriptive posts.

If you think you still missed out on some details, a link can be provided so it can help you out if you feel that your description is still lacking. An example is shown below:

Quote

Aliquam id risus vitae erat aliquet tincidunt at pulvinar lorem. Aliquam auctor lectus cursus enim congue convallis.

Village Square / Re: RP on the forum?
« on: January 19, 2016, 04:34:13 PM »
While a lot of people say that it is more convenient here to do RP and such, I still prefer to use the main site instead of the forums. I have always seen the forums as a way to discuss things related to SL whether it's about game issues, new features, RP-related, etc.

I'll admit I do some forum RP myself, but not with this kind of setup. You'll see what I mean once you check out RP-focused forums.
