Is it the same for those of you who live in other States/areas?
Where I live they have already started to broadcast Christmas movies on TV and commercials for it. All the other years that I remember, they've at least waited until Halloween was over with or close to it. This year though they have gone a whole month earlier.

You gotta buy those gifts early, lad! Remember, you can't have a good Christmas without loads of gifts!

I'm over at my parents right now and she is watching the Grinch. So far I've learned that it's not about the gifts, but about being with those you love. <3

But don't you want to show those people you love just how much you love them by getting them the newest iPhone? Or maybe some MineCraft merchandise for your younger siblings! I'm sure they will just love it.

The Sears store around here got the artificial trees in last month. Typically we start getting trolled by Christmas before Halloween. This year it started even earlier. Clearly corporate American has decided that they haven't made enough money off us yet this year so are stepping up their game plan.

SoCalifornia here.
Nuh. We're full force Halloween right now. Los Angeles, Hollywood, Burbank, Ventura (and other high-profile places like those) are rarin' to go with our parades and events out in the cities and streets.

Bunch of Halloween stuff here in Florida. You usually see Christmas stuff in November, because I guess Florida doesn't give a shit about Thanksgiving.

Commercially speaking, Thanksgiving cannot touch Halloween nor Christmas, or so the advertisements would have me believe.

Only thing thanksgiving has to offer commercially is black Friday.
