Title: Password in coffers
Post by: Shukaku on November 25, 2006, 10:28:52 PM
i was thinking if it was possible to add a "password" system in the dwelling coffers. the dwelling owner could make a password and give it only to the players he wanted. the plunder option wont be affected by this.

Well a password would be a bit much... There could be a key to the coffers, if you will, the coffers sort of seem like a room, so the owner could have the option to lock the room or unlock it or you could impliment keys...

Simply put, you could just tell your friends not to withdraw from your coffers or take their keys away to your cityhouse...

well, just tell the people who you don't want to withdraw from the coffers that they can get shleter in you cityhouse but if they touch the coffers than they are getting the key taken back.

that might sound offensive but saying that has the same amount of offensiveness as not giving them a key to the coffers

i already know that asdf. im just asking for a system that prevents that. sometimes people just want a key to steal money (dont hapends to me) . it could limit the amount of people that have acess to the coffers.

Shukaku, it is easy for me, I was not talking about the technics...
If I alter a module I did not write, I will lose the updates that are likely to come. I would have to _manually_ make all the changes to all new versions again.

And that's not that nice.

I think asdfjkl's suggestion would be best: tell them your rules, if they break them, they get  their key revoked ;)

That's why I don't give out keys to my cityhouse to people I'm not sure I can trust. If there's a doubt, no key for them!

I don't even bother with cityhouses...don't have much gold anyway, and the bank is safer.

Im able to get better weapon without using the coffer like 10=10 at level 3.
So if you know how to earn golds from forest, non cityhouse user wont affected much.

But i think it's out of topic.  :D

My reply to the key to coffer is..Okay.
So you can give a place to your clan member to sleep and your golds wont be wasted much..

But remember some player may insulted by not given the key to coffer and they may plunder your dweling in order to "pay back"...

Unless keep powerful guards to protect it .
