Well, like it says...
you may add a quote or taunt of your own to your preferences.
If you defeat somebody, he will get this message attached to the mail.
The other setting lets you show a message when you are attacked and the attacker is defeated.
You may use colours here, but no bold, italic or centered stuff. ^^

Exactly. The sentence/taunt will be displayed with "The last words you hear are:"

This could be a double edged sword...
I mean, I like this and all, you could leave friendly messages or something like that to people you kill. It ought to be fun.
But on the other hand, I imagine a lot of immature people will start writing quotes such as "I pwn your @$$" or "Your momma fought better than this". Which will inevitably result in fighting and other not-so-nice behaviors!
I just HOPE some people will use their CORRECT head when writing those quotes...

Been added just go to Preferences => PvP quotes and edit it as to your choosing.

there is a reason why no user-texts are displayed to open public =)

But what about if a person loses a match? Don't one of Kamui's(or whoever put them in) taunts go there? Maybe the second set of taunts can go there.

It really goes both ways,but to me i dont think academy students should put anything threating since they cant back it up,and yea that is the reason no text is displayed in the village square.

I don't see any use in this. It's just going to make you more angry when you lose to someone and they get smart with you. People are eveil and can hold grudges for a long time.

k here are something to help you(this is more for noobs)
%w = The player's name (also can be specified as {goodguy}
%x = The player's weapon (also can be specified as {weapon}
%a = The player's armor (also can be specified as {armor}
%s = Subjective pronoun for the player (him her)
%p = Possessive pronoun for the player (his her)
%o = Objective pronoun for the player (he she)
%W = The monster's name (also can be specified as {badguy}
%X = The monster's weapon (also can be specified as {creatureweapon}
these are the internal things for the taunt list.
you do realize that the text I fill inthere is no taunt, do you? =) Have you tried that out? does it work?
