Title: Inactive mods
Post by: Abysss on February 06, 2007, 11:49:46 PM
I think that we should delete mods that are obviously not coming back. I mean isn't it pointless to keep them there if they haven't been on in months?

I agree. Moderators should be the most active players in the game. Not the least active. Delete the ones you are'nt coming back and find new ones

this topic is gonna be shot down so fast, all i have to say is that if they haven't been deleted it's for a reason, because they probably help out every now and then. they might not have enough time to be on more than us but it shouldn't be our business. But if you still want to leave this topic open i'll just sit back and watch. 8) ... just one question, how do u know that a mod isn't coming back? Every mod i see is always active every once in a while. Can you name a mod that has been inactive?

Exactly, like Kaervek for instance.

He is definately going to come back.

I talked to him at some point and when he answered my message, he pretty much implied his returnal. =)

I dont think so, perfectflaw has logged on every once in a while, not very often but we shouldnt just delte him from being a mod.

I think Blaze makes most of the templates so hes not exactly inactive, none of the mods should be deleted.

Mods have lives, and the circumstances that keeps us away from the game can also keep them away from the game. Like I can barely play the game now because my internet is super slow... stuff happens, and there are mods to do the work of the idle ones.

Kyuubi no Gyururu

Kyuubi no Gyururu...

Is active. And not a moderator.

Why do you want to delete inactive mods anyway? It's not like them being offline affects us any... if we ever need help with something, there will always be at least one other mod there for us.

i used to think that being a bleach member meant being a mod.  :P

Stay on topic please. :)
Well why do you want them deleted?
Suppose they come back?
What then?

Indeed. There's always a possibility that they come back.

that makes no sense:
Boss: Johnson, James hasn;t showed up in 5 months, Should we open up the position
Johnson: Nah!, He might come back....soon....maybe

I'm pretty sure he meant to strip them of their position, not delete the character.

Just sounds to me like he's trying to free up a spot so he has a better chance.

Oh well, no one has even filled out the new application, curtesy of Lebis.

NO, i mean delete thme altogether, because if they are not active for 2 months stright they are most likly not coming back, and Taumaster asked me to make this topic so no i am not just trying to make a spot free, plus even if they did pick i new mod i know i wouldn't be picked but whatever i still think they should be deleted.

I agree, abyss, i think this topic still goes with that mod application you made.  Why delete the cahracters? Just cuse your a mod dosent mean your character gets deleted for inactiveness. Look at somem of the players, a lot of them are over 1 month. I say just let them be, we're getting along fine with teh mods we have.

i thought that there was a rule already that said if your not active after 40 days your account is deleted, or am i wrong? i don't think i am

And what if they're in the army unable to access a computer!? You go to the military or a military school, and I swear so help me god, I'm going to attack your name with the staff over and over again until you get deleted.

Perfect left for the military... if that's what you're asking.
