I was just thinking that there could be a way to get to the clan hall from the spirit world. The cost would be 5 favor and you can only talk there, you can't do any motd updates, membership things and stuff like that. When you are in the can hall you will say, (person) says in spirit form,"........" and when you are done talking you leave and go back to the spirit world. It would kinda be like the gypsy tent.
Anyone else like this idea? I put this in the clan request section because it concerns the clan hall.

i like it alot. But some will probably say that being dead is a punishment :P and if we put this in than people who are dead won't log out and other people won't have a chance to log in. I know that if i could talk in the clan halls while dead than i would never log out :P

Wow... This topic is one of a kind, couldn't find any topic that matched it.
There aren't other features in the graveyard that allow you to interact with shops, places, etc.(ruling out the people in the realm) so I don't think visiting clan halls has a shot.
Whatever you need to say in your clan halls can be said the next day, or if it is something important, inform your officers to put it in the MoTD.

well, as asdfjkl said, no one will log out
actually i dotn see the purpose, its just another board to post on. I'd rather use my dead time modifing the Titles and motd if necessary.

Well... you could see the clan halls but you wouldn't be able to write there or do other functions in case of the leaders. like if you were a ghost.

But then there would not be a point to going into the clan halls would there?
Usually people go into the clan halls to post messages.

Not me. I go there whenever I am bored and spam :D
But, maybe there could be clan halls for the dead so the living and the dead don't intereact. dead clan members could go there and livng clan memebers can post motd's up in the clan hall. that way only dead people in your clan can go in this hall :D

not anyone can posts motds, only certain people above a certain rank can.
also, if i am not mistaken, you are asking for two clan halls, one for the dead and one for the living correct?
I dotn think its necessare, like Gyu said, stay where y ou belong when your dead, if you really need to talk theres the new cemetary, the shades, and you can always pm.

I know i wasnt yelling at you merely stating a downside to your idea
View only sounds good... for active halls. If it dosent require too mcuh time and stress on the server and if everyone wants it, sure i guess.
I dont really need this option so i dont care whetehr if it happens or not.
Just think though, if this option happens, then we'll start getting suggestiosn tha the dead can go to village boards and all sorts of boards , view only.

I didn't notice the 5 favor thing.
But it is said that the plan was to make it view only.
Unless I simply misunderstood that.

if it's view only, i would save my favor :P
but if it's interact, then i say no, just cuz when you're dead, you should just be DEAD.

Agreed, spamming isnt good anywhere, and satehi, if you need to talk, thers the cemetary and teh shades.
Plus its a view only so in other words a dead, halfway scrying. ( at a low cost)

Everyone's only assuming that once the clan halls passage has been accepted, people will soon ask for passage for other places.

Just make an alt character and put him in your clan.

I remember having a meeting in the clan hall but I was dead with less than 100 Favor.

To end this discussion finally.
I have found a good way to give full access to the clan halls, and it's safe.
It consumes some ressources, but well.
so. I believe it is not really necessary, but well.
I am going to make a vote about it.
