Title: Kamui vs Uchiha Vale
Post by: Camel on May 28, 2015, 05:10:05 AM
Quote
[Format stolen from Dart/Dāto]

Jinchūriki: Kamui

Affiliation: Konohagakure no Sato

Preferred Method: OOC 1v1/2v2 or IC 1v1

Preferred Zone: Plains

Preferred Judges: PM for details regarding the selection of a judge (I have no preferred judge and want to come to a choice on equal terms with the challenger)

Preferred Outlet: SL Forum

Special rules

-The match is to be 1v1, if the preferred method was agreed to be IC. Otherwise a partner can be used in place of an OOC match.

-Victory for the challenger is the defeat of the host through any means necessary, and vice versa. Death in the fight does NOT equate to death IC, unless such a term was agreed upon.

-Skills acquired during an OOC match are not carried over IC. Similarly, knowledge of participants' abilities do NOT carry over to IC RP.

-If, by some chance, the match should reach a point of true stalemate after a minimum of 30 days then a judge may be called in to determine a winner based on how the fight has progressed up to this point. Both participants must request this of the judge in person (I.E. Both fighters MUST send a PM for this option.] If this is chosen, then the judge may declare a  winner based on these criteria:

•Who effectively manipulated the flow of the battle the best? The strategy employed (based on the posts) may have been defensive and attrition-based, but was it effective in the long run in wearing down the opponent?

•What caused the stalemate? The challenger being unable to defeat the challenged, or vice versa? Is it constant cancellation of jutsu and techniques by both sides, or merely one side taking refuge in a relatively inaccessible area (such as pocket dimension) in order to avoid defeat entirely?

•Who showed the greatest skill in the fight? This is completely and utterly at the discretion of the judge. His(her) decision is final on the matter, regardless of accusations of cheating or bribery or otherwise. This should be kept in mind when deciding on a judge for the fight.

If neither side can be conclusively declared the winner, then the fight either proceeds or a draw is declared. In the case of a draw, the challenger may rejoin the queue of challengers after the latest challenger without having to wait for cool-down (this circumvention for the benefit of the challenger for not technically being declared the loser, though by not succeeding the host can be considered a winner in this situation). Note, this is a technical victory for the host, so unless the challenger truly believes that a restart is necessary to increase victory chances, then it is not recommended to settle for a draw without reviewing this process a second time.

-Prefers SL forum, as it is most useful for fights where long periods of time may pass between postings, serves as a record of the fight's progress for other challengers, and for that damned time-out option.

-Must post at least once (1) a week. Though if a pattern of postings persists (I.E. If either player stretches their posting to the full week, each and every post without prior notification to the other), then the challenge will be voided. The cool-down will be initiated to challenger (if challenger is problem) and the host will be stripped (if host's activity is problem).

-Decided judge will remain judge throughout. No boots.

-Re-posts are allowed, within reason. (I.E. If either participant has to repeatedly re-post, the match will be concluded. See inactivity clause.) Re-posts are only to fix the issue brought up by the judge. Modifying the entire post to save yourself or completely change up strategy is an automatic disqualification from the match. (See inactive clause for consequences.) Edits are NOT allowed. An edited post is an automatic disqualification. A brand new "Reply" must be made so there is a full history of the entire fight for judge and other readers.

-Can only use skills that are known IC at the official start of the match. No borrowing from others. No immediate power ups within the match.

-Discussion of non-allowed techniques will vary by challenger and discussed via PM, only.

-Inflammatory, racial, harassing, or abusive language aimed at each other either in the match or in PM will result in an immediate void of the challenge. If challenger, (s)he loses all rights to ever challenge the current jinchūriki. If host, he loses the match and bijū given to the challenger.

-In the event that a host is defeated, the new host has the cool-down challenge period time-frame to either accept the special regulations for the tailed beast or completely re-write or alter the special rules. If they do not post their own variant by the beginning of the next challenge, then it is to be assumed that they comply with the previous special regulations.

-If host defeated, allow host to finish up any roleplay that may involve having the beast. Then a reasonable RP will be concluded as to how the beast transferred hands.

-All measurement units to be used in U.S. Customary Units. (I.E. No meters, grams, etc. Use feet, pounds, Fahrenheit, etc.)

Any questions, PM me please.

(Mostly) Non-Negotiable Voids

* Claims of immunity to Ototon
* Liquefying Super Senjutsu Ototon

A limping and obscured, cloaked figure appeared within the horizon; it wasn't into upon reaching the designated field of battle that would he actually come into view.
To any unsuspecting shinobi, it would appear to be a 'simple blind beggar' but looks were often deceiving and that ruined the fun or so he thought from his standpoint.
To make matters worse, the blind man wasn't exactly blind at all from closer inspection, his eyes were just shut and haven't been open as of yet.
Just before he could spoil the 'surprise',  a quick breeze blew through the prairie and along with it his cloak flew off to reveal that the man was none other then the Shodai Hokage, Kamui.
As the man became fully revealed, it appear that he was well armed with two swords firmly sheathed to his waist, various scrolls hidden within his clothing, as well as multiple 'special' kunais that he would improvise at a later date; should it be needed that was and that wasn't all the old man had up his sleeve.

A strong maelstrom of flames appears twenty feet away from old man Kamui, drawing in some leaves, grass, and other nearby foliage that would simply be burned by the intense fire. At most it would probably cause the  loose ends of the shinobi's clothes to flap towards the vortex, but not nearly strong enough to pull in a person. Clearly seen within the vortex would be a young man with spiky black hair, sporting a orange-reddish half leather jacket with a small monkey standing on his shoulder.

Underneath he would be wearing a black bodysuit with a summoning seal clearly seen on the outside, drawn in blood. Adorning his limbs are red kote armor vambraces and greaves (above which he has strapped his Melody Arms). Armed to the teeth (literally), the shinobi would have various weapons tied to his waist such as swords, knives, kunai, explosive bombs and light bombs. Fastened also would be many holsters, but as many would be for bladed weapons one in particular would look like some sort of handheld projectile weapon in the shape of a gun.

This would be a handheld kunai launcher, capable of shooting kunai in a rapid barrage similar to that of a machine gun. Within the weapon would be a summoning seal just like the one on his chest, allowing it to summon the objects within the Uchiha's kamui dimension in order to refill it with possibly surprising results. Holding a sword in one hand and the hilt of a knife within his mouth, he'd manage to somehow voice the words clearly, "I hope you've made peace with yourself in this world Jinchuriki, because you won't be able to where i'm sending ya.."  The young man's chakra would flare in excitement as the flame's intensity increases and a psychotic look can be seen in his Eternal Mangekyo eyes. They say they are a window to the soul, and if that is true Kamui can see the twisted aura he would emit. Not hesitating a second longer, Vale would form a handseal, causing the vortex surrounding him to form around his sword, increasing its length by 25 feet which Vale would attempt to have collide into Kamui with a simple swing. Capable of melting metal, his Katon extended sword strike attempts to slice through the older man like a cleaver through hot butter.

Contrary to popular belief, the man's age was indeed questionable but he was no old fart; the man was in fact in the prime of his youth, so it seemed.  The limp was gone in an instant as he sensed his opponent's malicious intent to take his life, the opponent in front of him made no intention to hide his negative emotions whatsoever; a not so wise choice for a jinchuuriki such as himself.
Kamui opened his eyes to show him what happened when to sought destruction through power, you'll literally lose your sight; his rights eye showed a milky white sclera, along with a dull blurry iris and his left eye showed no signs of abuse, remaining healthy from no usage of Izanagi.
Kamui quickly didn't hesitate himself and brought his right hand, along with his left hand together; cupping them as he extended his thumb up.

"Feisty, aren't we? Don't be so quick to die now, boy." He said as he produced a defending wall of water from no preexisting source, a testament to his power as Hokage.
The man poured his chakras into the technique and made it's resistance and strength, above-par to the katon technique that was thrown at him; effectively neutralizing the fire-enhanced blade into nothing but harmless smoke.
Kamui still wasn't done and he unstrapped a special kunai from his clothing and threw it through the smokescreen, directly towards his opponent with surprisingly accuracy; his target? The monkey that laid idle upon his shoulders.

Saw the consequences of Kinjutsu upon his opponent's eye, as that would be Vale's best guess. In the back of his mind, multiple questions arise about the light absent from his foe's right peeper. Was it some sort of trick? When exactly did he use it? In some past event..or right this moment? Nevertheless, these questions would have to go without a solid answer for him now as he feels he will cross that bridge if he ever comes to it.

While still keeping keen focus, he would hear the rushing sound of the weapon through the air and if the "special kunai" contained any chakra, it would be blatant to him even through the smokescreen thanks to his Doujutsu and sensory abilities. Channeling a small amount of Katon through a blade one more time as he forms a seal, Vale would quickly spit the knife at the kunai, causing it to pierce through it if successful, pushing it back towards Kamui, the melted slag remains of a kunai still attached. The knife would be shot with enough might to clear most of the smokescreen, the result of chakra to super propel the weapon.

His formed seal would generate an Earth Release Shadow Clone next to himself, with a duplicate monkey companion with it as well. Immediately when the knife makes a clear view for Vale, he would attempt to get rid of Kamui's apparent good eye, with well...Kamui. With his superiors requesting that Vale try to take in the ninja alive if he can, he would try to avoid a killing, but perhaps impact a damaging blow. Nearly instantly the Uchiha would try to warp Kamui's left eye into a specific part of his pocket dimension with the use of a small Space-Time barrier in a flash. If successful, Kamui would find himself blind and in possibly excruciating pain as his eye would be gone as well as a good portion of his face from his eye socket to his left cheek, taking muscle and bone along with it. This would cause him to bleed violently and possibly go into shock.

Kamui- Authority of the Gods

The bunshin would try to paralyze and harm Kamui upon his conception by moving his arms rapidly, the sound of which would be drastically amplified by his pair of Resonating Echo Speakers. Manipulating the sound, the bunshin attempts to rupture Kamui's inner ear, rendering him off balance, nauseous, vision blurred (if still able to see), deaf, and paralyzed. This would serve as a countermeasure if his opponent would somehow evade Vale's line of sight, offering a small window to succeed in his Mangekyo attempt. This would be plenty for his kamui and maybe his knife as well to drill through his opponent's abdomen. If somehow gone in a way where a simple turn of the head cannot located him/and or mile wide sensory skills, Vale would not use kamui and instead give directions to his primate companion via quick glance Genjutsu for future tactics. With his clone already knowing Vale's plan of attacks, he would almost perfectly be in sync with the original.

The pale black eye instantly turned into a crimson hue, the doujutsu; his Three-Tomoe Sharingan was activated under the vast and dense steam cover. The build-up of chakra from his eyes was evident from the start, it was a technique that then man faced time and time again. However he was also quick to react as well by simply drawing out his Sword of Kusanagi from his hip,"Hiraishin...giri!" He said and disappeared in a flash, having entered a dimensional void and re-appearing so quickly that even his opponent's doujutsu wouldn't be able to track his instantaneous movements; the man came out with enough force to deflect the fire-infused blade away in one fell swoop. Leaving the 'marked kunai' to travel un affected towards the prairie behind the Uchiha; hopefully undetected, of course as the man had plans for the kunai in the future.

He was also lucky enough to avoid the Time-Space technique with seconds to spare as the Earth Shadow Clone began flapping it's arms like some crazy madman and saw through the clever ruse, thanks to his active doujutsu. Not wanting to play anymore games with this crafty Uchiha, the old man began to make use of his bijuu's traits; by first manifesting a crimson chakra cloak that bubbled around his visage. [Version-One Mode Activate!]
Once the devastating sound jutsu had hit, the version-one form of his chakra cloak had minimized enough damage that he simply brushed it off as it was nothing, "You better watch it old man! I won't save your ass again!" Kurama spoke through telepathy and griped him out for acting so carelessly against an opponent like Vale.
A scowl left the man lips as he turned his undivided attention towards both the doppelganger and his opponent, all the while remaining in telepathic contact with his beast; Kurama in the meanwhile had formed a hand seal and started to gather more chakra, should the situation arise again for its usage.

Unfortunately for Kamui, his use of Hiraishin would most likely prove futile considering the original trajectory of his kunai. Due to it originally aiming towards Vale's primate friend, Kamui's teleport would be directly in Vale's line of sight, making the use of his Space-Time Jutsu as easy as if the Jinchuriki had walked up infront of him. Coupled with the fact there would be no time lapse between Vale's attempt and his foe's teleport, being instantaneous and all that, he'd unknowingly set himself up.

Successful or not, Vale would be slightly more concerned with his summon, as it had been struck in the shoulder, the impact sending it back and a shriek of pain to come from it, but it would be quickly caught by the Bunshin. The two Vale would pick up on the use of Hiraishin.  From having experience fighting a user, the lack of Mangekyo (indicating no use of Jikūkan Idō), and neither his eyes or sensory abilities seeing him move from point A to point B.

"That was my favorite monkey ya Flying Thunder-bastard!"

Vale would shout in anger as jumps back about 10 feet,  'So the Demon Fox formed a shroud around him huh? The chakra emanating from him is immense...can't afford to be sloppy. Unlucky for him he hasn't nearly seen all of what the Akaoni has in store for him..' He'd say mentally to himself.

Forming a handseal that would cause a cloud of smoke to cover his person. Hurtling towards the Hokage would be what seemed to be two massive Windmill Shuriken from the smoke, one hiding within the shadow of the other ,attached by a translucent wire, allowing Vale to control its movements. Rapidly the "shuriken" would attempt to strike down Kamui in moments. However, when they got close, they would reveal a deadly secret. By using the transformation technqiue, the Uchiha had masked the various bombs and knives on his person into the form of giant shuriken.

Hiding underneath the shadow of the transformed sword would be the transformed bombs, which would ignite in a dangerous blast. A bright blinding light would engulf the area over 40 feet in diameter, temporarily paralyzing and blinding those who see, Vale however being protected by the smokescreen. Accompanied by the light would be a deadly explosion of heat and pressure, a far lesser extent than the light, only 10 feet. Powerful enough to destroy several oak trees. The transformed knives would mostly turn into molten shrapnel traveling as fast and as far as the explosion, capable of piercing through metal with ease, threatening to rip into Kamui. Meanwhile, the moment the bunshin grabbed the monkey, he would utilize the intangibility aspect of kamui, quickly disappearing into the ground, all traces of his chakra as well as the monkey's gone.

Once parts of his body overlapped with in the ground, he would seamlessly warp into his kamui dimension, to the same location where the original would have sent Kamui's eye and parts of his face if successful. Putting the primate on a massive pre-existing fuinjutsu (without stepping into it himself) he would immediately begin to prepare for his lines of attack (the fuinjutsu in question would be one of Vale's pre-existing overlapped seals, which paralyzed and sealed all the tenketsu of the target). Going to where he keeps his weapons, he would apply a unique seal at the bottom of them. Instead of wasting chakra on making seals for each one, he made one big seal the affected the weapons in the vicinity. This allowed the weapons to be summoned to each other under a certain condition.

Kamui was well-aware of the danger he set himself up for by moving in so close on his opponent. In fact, the old man had plan his moves exactly two steps ahead, unlike his overzealous opponent; the following action had occurred the minute the smokescreen erupted. He flicked his wrist, throwing the sword into the ground in front of him; effectively having it protrude from the ground for easy access then the man reached into his sleeves, pulled out another marked Kunai and began forming a series of handseals; this action happened while the massive windmill shuriken came straight for him.

Kamui's tomoes within his eye, darted around and tracking the precise trajectory of the object, making a prediction on where it would likely strike; the man brought his hand up with the marked Kunai facing forward. What would have been an grave outcome had actually worked out in his favor thanks to incorporating the Flying Thunder God formula to erect a barrier space capable of warping anything in contact with it; namely the disguised windmill attack.
When Vale's bunshin made use of Kamui  to protect itself, along with his doppelganger summon, the explosion from the disguised attack would be warped to another marked location; the one marked Kunai that was still imbedded within the primate. The explosion would undoubtedly rock the Uchiha's personal dimension and would also consequently take out both the summon as well as the mud clone.

After this was all done, the man stabbed the marked Kunai into the ground, sat down next to his sword at a standstill and telepathically linked up with Kurama, speaking to him about the current situation at hand; the conversation appeared to take place within his own psyche.
"This opponent is no laughing matter. I suggest we switch tactics and make preparations for Sage Mode." Kamui spoke to the fox and was soon met with a cunning but bold response from his inner entity, "Finally taking this seriously, aren't you? It's about damn time! Ha!" Kurama said.

Meanwhile Kamui was drawing in natural energy from around him and into his body, blending it along with the chakra that he received from Kurama; this was an absolute necessary for an empowered version of Sage Mode.
Vale on the other hand, his chakra signature had disappeared from the battlefield and this was a perfect opportunity for Kamui to take his power to the next level; nothing was preventing his actions from being interrupted currently.
Only time would tell when his opponent would show up again and begin another attempt to take his life, along with his close fox friend.

The chakra shroud immediately sprouted another tail in reaction to the barrier space produced by the Time-Space technique, the vortex produced by the barrier would engulf the tail and part of his left face; narrowly missing the left eye by mere inches. In fact, the old man had plan his moves exactly two steps ahead, unlike his overzealous opponent; the following action had occurred the minute the barrier space began to erupt around the affected area of his face.
The chakra shroud immediately sprouted another tail in reaction to the barrier space produced by the Time-Space technique, the vortex produced by the barrier would engulf the tail as it very quickly outstretched to cover the affected area of his left face just moments after sprouting forth; these actions that followed made the technique narrowly missing the left eye by mere inches. Bloody and battered by the deadly attack, he never hesitated for not even an instance. The old man flicked his wrist, throwing the sword into the ground in front of him; effectively having it protrude from the ground for easy access then the man reached into his sleeves, pulled out another marked Kunai and began forming a series of handseals; this action happened while the massive windmill shuriken came straight for him.

Kamui's tomoes within his eye, darted around and tracking the precise trajectory of the object, making a prediction on where it would likely strike; the man brought his hand up with the marked Kunai facing forward. What would have been a grave outcome for the battered old man had actually worked out in his favor thanks to incorporating the Flying Thunder God formula to erect a barrier space capable of warping anything in contact with it; namely the disguised windmill attack.
When Vale's bunshin made use of Kamui to protect itself, along with his primate summon(s), the explosion from the disguised attack would be warped to another marked location; the one marked Kunai that was still imbedded within the original primate summon. The explosion would undoubtedly rock the Uchiha's personal dimension and would also consequently take out both the summon as well as the mud clone. After this was all done, the battered and bloody man stabbed the marked Kunai into the ground, sat down next to his sword at a standstill and telepathically linked up with Kurama, speaking to him about the current situation at hand; the conversation appeared to take place within his own psyche.

Meanwhile Kamui remained still in his sitting position and was drawing in natural energy from around him and into his body, blending it along with the chakras that he received from Kurama; this was an absolute necessary for an empowered version of his Slug Sage Mode. Small amounts of steam were also seen from his left face as the accelerated healing process began, thanks to the beneficial chakra shroud that was around him; his cheek rapidly healed and his left ear slowly begun to repair itself through the traits of the advance cellular reconstruction from his bijuu's chakras. The tail that was engulfed by the 'Kamui' made another appearance, all thanks to his buddy Kurama; whom was not having much faith in him as usual and decided to help him out more then usual.  Vale on the other hand, his chakra signature had disappeared from the battlefield and this was a perfect opportunity for Kamui to take his power to the next level; nothing was preventing his actions from being interrupted as of currently. Only time would tell when his opponent would show up again and begin another attempt to take his life, along with his close fox friend.

Before another post is made, I would like to post a cease (I should have done this prior, but we'll adapt). I have been taking some hours reviewing this as a whole, so unless Vale is satisfied with this latest repost (which I doubt, but it could be possible) then I will post my findings this evening once I have given enough time for Vale to review your latest repost (and once I get home).

With his eyes, the Uchiha would see the chakra silhouette of his opponent forming a string of handseals he would be tracking, and once the technique specific hand seal is completed, it would be obvious to him what would happen. Seeing his windmill about to have contact with the Jikūkan Kekkai, he would poke his head out from the smoke. While not being able to stop it, Vale's mind would race with thoughts as he would quickly activate his Space-Time Technqiue.

By using the summoning seal upon his chest, it would resonate with the seal upon the bunshin, summoning the doppelganger to him within the smoke (which would promptly clear), it obviously taking some damage from the blast but not the full brunt. Vale's dimension would be mostly fine, save for a partially destroyed prism. With the blast only reaching ten feet, the damage was not extensive to the vast abyss. However, the original monkey would be blown to bits.

Due to the nature of the shadow clone, it would be able to reshape itself from the damage. Having completed the first step (his seal jutsu in the dimension), though with some trouble at the end, he and the original would know what next to do. As stated before the two would be in nearly perfect sync, mostly due to Vale's calculating nature of various plans beforehand. Not only would the bunshin be brought back, but the monkey clone as well, having stuck with the twin till the end. Giving the primate a quick glance the Earth-Vale would convey the next steps via Genjutsu in an instant.

(Would also note that the original never disappeared from the field, as he was referring to the clone and made the distinction)

All three would perform handseals behind their backs, immediately emanating a bright light from their bodies. This light would attempt to trap Kamui in a Genjutsu, this particular Genjutsu being Genjutsu: Double Optic Delusory. If successful, Kamui would find himself trapped in an illusion where his mind would think he is bound and gagged by painful spiked chains in a dimension composed from an innumerable amount of randomly arranged and differently sized rectangular prisms amongst a dark and seemingly endless void, Vale's "Kamui" dimension. With his mind thinking he is unable to move, the same effect would transpire in reality. However, this wouldn't be the end to it, far from it as Vale's plan would attempt to send Kamui into a seemingly endless nightmare.

Its possible, and highly likely, that Kamui would see through this ruse and dispel the Genjutsu. But it wouldn't be that simple as a second illusion would be under it. This time it would be the grassy plains, but with him neck deep in Doton: Yomi Numa, Swamp of the Underworld. This repeating process of a double illusion would continue twice more if he breaks out of the first set, binding him in each one with pain and the Vales (and monkey) gone. Why? Due to the fact the other two lights would hit his opponent, instantly, leaving no room to see the real world until each one is dispelled. This makes a total of 6 illusions to escape from, something that would be impossible for even the most skilled Genjutsu Master to do in less than 3 seconds.

A second however is all that is needed for Vale's attack as the clone would attempt to deliver a powerful and  hopefully finishing blow. With knife his hand he would try to deliver two strikes, one with his knee and the other with his knife hand. Using his pride and joy, his speed and strength, the Uchiha aims to drive the knife into Kamui's good eye and his knee into his right side using a tremendous burst of speed that would get him there in a moment. With strength to demolish boulders without any Gate enhancements, his attacks would most likely break the bones in his opponent's neck, head, face, and ribs.

If not left blinded and bleeding by the knife, the force of his hand would be enough to crush the eye, breaking his skull and the C1-C6 of his neck, paralyzing him completely. His rib strike would most likely shatter his ribcage, leaving the shinobi a battered mess, unable to move, probably knocked unconscious from his body going into shock from the severe nerve damage.

By closing their eyes, they would make sure not to be trapped by each other's Genjutsu, using sensory skills and memory to locate Kamui perfectly, knowing exactly his position as Vale is accustomed to using them to compensate for blindness, able to follow Kamui if somehow is able to move.

Kamui continued the grueling process of transforming himself into a Sage; the natural  energy around was being absorbed at an alarming rate and maroon-like markings became prominent when he was near perfecting the transformation. Another voice would interrupt the old man within the confines of his psyche, Kurama was wary and by using negative-emotions sensing, he was able to sense the onslaught coming right for the old man, Kamui. Unfortunately for the Genjutsu that was aimed towards him, the mediation position that was taken by the former meant that through his mental connection with Kurama, he could simply just close his Sharingan eye at the last possible second; this action was done so he could remain telepathically linked and synchronize his actions with his kitsune buddy. Before this was done, the man simply activated his Sage Mode in secrecy, deciding to remain idle as he was; taking on the ruse as if he was still taking in natural energy when he wasn't. The markings on his face would alarm anyone whom had to deal with Senjutsu-users before in their life, his opponent however had the crazy idea of just using sensing and memory alone; this meant that since he was wasn't familiar with natural energy, he wouldn't prepared for what came next.

Due to enhancements of his Sage Mode, he would become a handful at the moment when both Vale and his doppelganger came at him with such malicious intent; the following actions occurred in conjunction to both Vale and the mud clone, when they attempted to take him down. An electrical discharge flowed throughout his visage, small streaks of electricity quickly engulf anyone within the area and this would leave anyone whom came in contact with it, unable to move due to body of the person unable to discern the lightning chakra from electrical signals given off naturally by the human body; thus making the original Vale's body incredibly stiff and his mud clone would become useless due to a disadvantage in chakra natures. What made it worse was that this done in an empowered state of Sage Mode, meaning it had three-times the effectiveness and was more powerful then ever, thanks to a combination of his chakra shroud and his Sage Transformation; the feeling caused by his defensive tactic would be as if the man was actually severely paralyzed and his sensing prowess would be garbled and distorted due to the overstimulation of the nerves throughout his body. All of this would happen to occur if he was successful, but it was very possible that he was successful due to the close proximity and danger that Vale decided to take by taking him head-on.  ( My term on Sage Transformation is to not be confused with Juugo's Sage Transformation)

Kurama in the meanwhile decided to help his friend out by helping Kamui bypass the weakness of his transformation into Sage Mode; he would sit idly in an odd position and began to gather more natural energy for the old man. This meant that once his Sage Mode ended, he could simply re-enter it without any repercussion from the transformation; meaning he wouldn't be exhausted with each transition into Sage Mode. Kamui on the other hand broke through his ruse soon after his lighting-natured attack, outstretching his arm towards the sword's sheath which stuck out of the ground in front of him; the man effectively pulled it out of the ground and re-sheathed it into the scabbard in one fell swoop. Kamui kept his hand steady upon the blade's handle and waited for his opponent to make another foolish move against him. The marked Kunai was also there in front of him in case he needed to put it to use again, which he was hoping he didn't have to... unless it was truly needed.

I am requesting that Kamui repost:

1) No tailed beast gathering natural energy for the sake of sage mode.
SL forum discussion on very topic: http://forum.shinobilegends.com/index.php/topic,8360.0.html

2) Only Vale's mud clone attacked, not himself. Considering the usual range of chidori nagashi and that you had earlier responded in a different way to the genjutsu, then it is highly unlikely Vale would even be in range of it. However, this was relatively minor since Vale could have simply pointed that out in his next post and called it a day. Note that the two of you are likely 20 feet apart still (having went in 10, had Vale back up ten, and then not much movement until Vale's clone goes forward) and that is a pretty stretch even for a sage mode and tailed beast enhanced chidori nagashi.

3) Using negative emotions sensing to predict an impending attack is one thing, but to predict specifically a visual genjutsu that would necessitate an Uchiha to close his one good eye? Negative emotions sensing does not sense chakra, it senses emotion, the latter of which not very useful in discerning specific techniques. Now, were your sage mode sensory and/or sharingan to provide you this information, that would be a different story (though closing your one sharingan eye in response still seems off to me).

*Let me note that Vale requested for a repost first, so that there is no confusion.

Kamui continued the grueling process of transforming himself into a Sage; the natural  energy around him was being absorbed at an alarming rate and maroon-like markings became prominent when he was near perfecting the transformation. Another voice would interrupt the old man within the confines of his psyche, Kurama was wary and by simply using sensing, he was able to sense the onslaught coming right for the old man, Kamui. Unfortunately for the Genjutsu that was aimed towards him, the mediation position that was taken by the former meant that through his mental connection with Kurama, he could've simply just close his Sharingan eye at the last possible second; before this action could be taken, bright visuals erupted from his opponent's visage. When this had occurred, the man simply activated his Sage Mode in secrecy, deciding to remain idle as he was; taking on the ruse as if he was caught within the genjutsu loop when he wasn't. Why wasn't Kamui so easily caught in the genjutsu loop? Well...he used the enhancements from his Sage Mode, along with a little help from his kitsune buddy to disrupt the chakra-flow that was negatively effecting him; these actions meant that the disruption of chakra-flow had three times the effectiveness. Thus he was able to escape the genjutsu within a few seconds, while maintaining the elaborate ruse as if he was still caught in it. The crimson markings on his face would alarm anyone whom had to deal with Senjutsu-users before in their life, his opponent however had the crazy idea of just using sensing and memory alone; this meant that since he was wasn't familiar with natural energy, he wouldn't prepared for what came next.

Due to enhancements of his Sage Mode, he would become a handful at the moment when both Vale and his doppelganger came at him with such malicious intent; the following actions occurred in conjunction to both Vale and the mud clone, when the mud clone attempted to take him down. All of this would happen to occur if he was successful, but it was very possible that he was successful due to the close proximity and danger that Vale decided to take by taking him at such a short-range.  (My term on Sage Transformation is to not be confused with Juugo's Sage Transformation)

Kurama in the meanwhile decided to help his friend out by helping Kamui get ready for another nifty power-up; he would sit idly in an odd position and began to gather more chakra for the old man. This meant that once his Sage Mode ended, he could simply enter either his version-two state or go full bijuu mode without any negative repercussion from the previous transformation; meaning he wouldn't be exhausted with each transition into another state of power. Kamui on the other hand broke through his ruse soon after his lighting-natured attack, outstretching his arm towards the charred sword's handle which stuck out of the ground in front of him; the man effectively pulled it out of the ground and re-sheathed it into the scabbard in one fell swoop. Kamui kept his hand steady upon the blade's handle and waited for his opponent to make another foolish move against him. The marked Kunai was also there in front of him in case he needed to put it to use again, which he was hoping he didn't have to...unless it was truly needed, but by the looks of the ways things were going... he just may have to use that.

Both participants requested a ruling to nip the matter, so here it is:

Quote
All three would perform handseals behind their backs, immediately emanating a bright light from their bodies. This light would attempt to trap Kamui in a Genjutsu, this particular Genjutsu being Genjutsu: Double Optic Delusory.

All of the genjutsu are deployed at the same time from what I am reading here.

Quote
Why? Due to the fact the other two lights would hit his opponent, instantly, leaving no room to see the real world until each one is dispelled.

Kamui has the sharingan, so he should certainly be able to see the separate illusions. Even then, all of the illusions are coming in and disrupting the chakra at the same time, meaning that sideliner Kurama would in fact realize that all 6 genjutsu are being deployed at the same time and react to defend its jinchurikii.

The actual genjutsu(s) against Kamui were not stated to be in effect until the lightning pillars flash attacks, so it's a pretty strong bet that the genjutsu: sharingan portion was the earlier communication between the Vale and the monkey.

This makes a total of 6 illusions to escape from, something that would be impossible for even the most skilled Genjutsu Master to do in less than 3 seconds.

It is strongly suggested in Vale's post that each set is in fact a single jutsu, which reduces the number of functional jutsu from 6 to 3 that Kamui and Kurama would need to break at the time of the attacks. Since they all happen at once and in sync, then I don't see why Kamui wouldn't be able to notice all of them at once.

If new genjutsu(s) was/were being constantly applied after the first, one after the other, by the original Vale and the monkey while the clone is going in for the kill, then I would see the "you need to break the first one, then the second, then the third" rather than Kurama disrupting Kamui's chakra in such a fashion as all the genjutsu are broken at once once deployed.

The question posed was whether or not Kamui's ability to break out of the genjutsu is reasonable.

And I rule that it is reasonable given the above.

*No, I did not include sage mode in helping Kamui escape for reasons to go unpublished here, as well as a few other things I considered awry with both versions*

Using their sensory capabilities, both Vale would detect the build up of chakra within Kamui (without their nerves being overstimulated), though due to the proximity of the bunshin and the swiftness of Raiton, it could not evade the deadly electrical strike. During the clone's very last moment, before it would be reduced to nothing but a pool of mud, it would let out a cry and activate the seal it has upon his person. This seal would be different than the one on his chest, it would be the one contained within his copy of Vale's kunai launcher.

The moment the clone would activate the seal, a massive explosion would occur. Capable of being seen and felt a mile away. A mushroom cloud would blanket the sky with ash, momentarily blocking out the sun in an ominous darkness. Heat, fire, and pressure would shake the plains burning away or tearing apart earth.

But what exactly would be the cause of this? By summoning  a few of the explosive tags from his pocket dimension within his launcher, he detonates practically on top of Kamui (being probably a few inches away from his person by the time the Chidori Current is activated), each tag capable of busting through a steel door.

Thanks to the seal placed earlier by the clone, the thousands of weapons contained within Vale's dimension would be summoned from the exploding tags, which in turn would summon other weapons, his own variant of Mutually Multiplying Explosive Tags while the immense number of them would seem to also mimic Paper Person of God Technique. The vast number of notes would result in a 1320 foot wide blast radius, covering the area in a matter of two seconds. Not only would explosive notes be summoned, but the shinobi's swords, giant kunai, shuriken etc.

The blast would destroy alot of them instantly, leaving a rain of a million super heated shrapnel as well, extending half way more than the  total distance of the blast, propelled with bedrock piercing force coupled with an intense shockwave. Afterwards, some of the remaining, mostly intact metal weapons would rain down from the sky after being hurled in a flaming torrent of destruction.  Both sensing the incoming attack as well as hearing the scream of the bunshin, this would prompt Vale to activate his right eye right before the lightning and the explosion hit him, causing his body to warp through into his dimension as he seeps into the ground.

If successful, it would seem as if Vale had perished along with his clone as all traces of his chakra signature would be gone, as well as a good portion of the plains, as the tags would leave nothing standing in a quarter mile but ash, a crater, and charred earth. With the close proximity of the clone, the swiftness of the attack, and seemingly no way of detecting its approach, Kamui would most likely be immobilized, body crushed and burned by the intense heat and pressure if not completely torn to bits.

'I hate having to use this...but it seems I don't have much choice..hes getting stronger by the moment...' Vale would think to himself. This Jinchuriki sure wasn't making this easy for him and from this point its do or die. He would feel around his weapon pouch, taking note he lacked to bring with him certain tools to keep up with the Jinchuriki. While hidden, he would contemplate on further parts of his strategy rather quickly, intending to only expend as much as needed. Thanks to his previous actions (more specifically the clone's actions), he was able to attack with all those explosives at once with relative ease and no strain on his chakra pool, aside from the loss of the bunshin.

Unfortunately for his opponent, Kamui had caught a glimpse of the summoning seal that was riddled with an explosive chakra nature hidden within the tagged objects; his ocular prowess allowed him to view the attack in such a unique way that it played in much slower frame rate within his own field of vision. The tomoes within Kamui's eye rapidly spun and focused upon the scene that was about to occur and he reacted according by swiftly bringing his hands together to form a kata; forming the correct hand seal and molding his chakra into a quick defensive technique that would shield him from the first initial brunt of the explosive attack.

As the explosion simultaneously engulf him and his protective wooden barrier, Kamui unclasped his hands and brought his right arm up to chest level, intertwining both his middle and index finger to form a unique one-handed seal; a plume of smoke erupted from within the protective wooden dome and within a few seconds the smoke cleared to reveal two doppelgangers of the man in same state as he was but minus the empowerment of Sage Mode, due the power-up expiring after his swift defensive maneuvers. Although the shrapnel was a move of well intention from his opponent, unfortunately the oni-shaped wooden barrier that encompassed him, along with his clones was strong enough to withstand the destructive force of a bijuudama and thus would survive the maelstrom of destruction with only some minor damage to the facial features of the barrier.

As the explosion ceased around him, Kamui let out an exasperated sigh from within his protective confines upon noticing the nonexistent chakra signature of his opponent, "He used that technique again." The man commented upon the usage of the same technique that uncannily bared his own name and decided to use this time to make use of the generous gift of chakra that Kurama had accumulated for him. The wooden barrier would erupted into a multitude of wooden projectiles, the cause of this was the doppelgangers simultaneously ascending into the version two state, along with the original. Kurama's chakra was converted into a humanoid shape and the shroud that was previously present before was nothing in comparison in terms to power that was currently present in his current state, four tails could also be seen swaying in the air as they patiently awaited the arrival of his opponent; the actions of his transformation had also caused his marked Kunai to be hurdled several hundred yards away from the unscathed plains.

Unfortunately for his opponent, Kamui had caught a glimpse of complex chakra signature that was quite odd in his perspective and it was somehow being emitted from the clone's tool that was attached to his opponent's wrist; his advance ocular prowess allowed him to view the attempted counter-attack in such a unique way that it played in much slower frame rate within his own field of vision. The tomoes within Kamui's eye rapidly spun and focused upon the scene that was about to occur, quickly merging into a single mistdomoe. Simultaneously the man made use of what Senjutsu chakra he had left into a single technique that would shield him from the initial brunt of the explosive attack; the action that occurred after the explosion only left the man standing within the ethereal ribcage of the avatar, leaving only a small patch of untouched land in his wake.

As the explosion simultaneously engulf him and his completed Susano'o, Kamui brought his right arm up to chest level, intertwining both his middle and index finger to form a unique one-handed seal, a plume of smoke erupted from within the protective ethereal ribcage and within a second, the smoke cleared to reveal two doppelgangers of the man in same  state as he was in; although minus the empowerment of Sage Mode, this was due the power-up expiring after his swift defensive maneuvers. Although the shrapnel was a move of well intention from his opponent, unfortunately the Senjutsu-enhanced Susano'o that encompassed him, along with his clones was more then strong enough to withstand the destructive force of the Mutually Multiplying Tag variant and thus would survive the maelstrom of destruction with only the features of the ribcage remaining on the battlefield amongst only the original and his doppelgangers.

After the explosion ceased around him, Kamui let out an exasperated sigh from within his protective confines upon noticing the nonexistent chakra signature of his opponent, "He used that technique again...I think it is time that I ended these shenanigans! " The man commented upon the usage of the same technique that uncannily bared his own name and decided that it was almost time to make use of the generous gift of chakra that Kurama had accumulated for him. The ethereal ribcage would flicker amongst Kamui and his group, the cause of this was the doppelgangers simultaneously accepting the original's plan; they would remain idle, waiting for the ethereal ribcage around the original to disappear in a flicker of chakra before taking action. This was a simple command gesture exchanged through them as they two would simultaneously do the same action that the original did. Ascending into the version-two state was his priority and after his opponent's chakra signature returned to the battlefield, he would gladly do so in hopes of catching his opponent off-guard; the actions of his previous technique had also caused his marked Kunai to be partially embedded in the small patch of unscathed plains for such a situation ever arise that he needed to use it.

After contemplating his further objectives, Vale's emotional state would calm as his mind focused solely on victory and living, all his thoughts and feelings would be put into the pride of his surety of his success. While still keeping concealed he would emerge his head from quite a distance, out of their line of sight, taking notice of the bunshins and Kamui enter into another advanced state.

After a momentary glance he would submerge himself back into the ground, thus back into his realm. Biting his thumb,he would draw blood as he forms a set of seals, eventually summoning a large chimpanzee, twice Vale's size,"You summoned me?" The primate would ask in confusion, "You must have something big planned then.." The summon would have with him various medical and ninja tools.  Vale holds out his hand, signaling the primate to hand him something over.Knowing him well, the chimp would hand him over a few Military Ration Pills. Taking them, Vale would form a swift handseal shortly before ingesting them, falling upon one knee from exhaustion, almost losing concentration on sustaining his technique.

The Senju cells coursing through his bodywould prevent him from losing control over his intangibility, pushing him to even endure his own idea that he has next. The seal had generated two Earth Release Shadow Clones, one who would promptly cast a Genjutsu on the summon, to convey in an instant his ideas and the situation. He would then form a set of handseals, right after taking out three blank tags which the clones would take. Forming handseals, the Kage Bunshins would in-script a fuinjutsu seal on the pieces of paper. The seals would activate in response to chakra signatures that aren't Vale's  threatening to seal those who come in contact, within the jutsu.

The original Vale would jump on another platform, away from the as he ascends to 7th Gate, Kyomon. Restrains on his brain would be released, allowing Vale to access 100% of his muscle power, when on average the normal person can only use 20%. His body is revitalized in conjunction with the Military Ration Pills taken, which replenished his chakra, though at the cost of putting more strain on his body. His skin turns a dark red as his speed and strength increase to vast levels, so much so Vale could keep up with a Raiton no Yoroi user in the 5thGate alone. An aura of blue surrounds him viciously as his sweat would evaporate from his own heat energy.

Within his dimension he would unleash a Daytime Tiger into the vast abyss. With all three of them in sync, the two clones, with tags in hand would seep above the ground, hands only as they attempt to phase the seals into the bodies of Kamui and his clones, solidifying the moment the tags would be embedded inside their feet.Due to the fact they are still in the Kamui (technique) state the clones would hopefully go unnoticed as it would be almost impossible for them to be detected. Their limbs would be invisible as they shift inside the feet of all the Kamui, their chakra still hidden by being overlapped by solid objects. If successful, Kamui and crew would be trapped within the tags, unable to disarm them due to their quickness of activation and their location.

By doing this, the clones would also cause physical displacement, damaging the feet of all the Kamui, most likely destroying the clones and disabling the use of his feet, separating the muscles and bones from each other. If the clones manage to succeed or fail, one of them would disperse immediately, transferring the knowledge to the original. If failure occurred,Vale would emerge behind the original, launching another Daytime Tiger. The second use of this jutsu would drastically damage the muscles in the Uchiha's arms, making them almost useless as hes rocked with pain. But he would have another surprise waiting for Kamui as he would eject from his eye the first from his pocket dimension. A single strike from such a taijutsu move would be enough to destroy a completed Susano'o, and Vale would increase the power twice as much.

One would be enough to generate an explosion to dwarf the size of Genbu, the Isalnd Turtle, but his double strike would be even larger, expanding over 31680 feet in diameter, making the previous blast of the tags look like a simple spark. This would demolish a significant portion of the plains, wiping out what weapons remained on the battlefield. The initial shock-wave from contact would push Vale away to the outskirts of the explosion, panting heavily as he grins.

As per request of my opponent and the judge, I will give my repost to fix the issues present.

Vale would form a swift handseal, falling upon one knee from exhaustion, almost losing concentration on sustaining his technique. The Senju cells coursing through his body would prevent him from losing control over his intangibility, pushing him to even endure his own idea that he has next.

The seal had generated three Earth Release Shadow Clones, who would each take a piece of cloth from Vale. Forming handseals, the Kage Bunshins would in-script a fuinjutsu seal on the pieces of fabric. The seals would activate in response to chakra signatures that aren't Vale's  threatening to seal those within the jutsu shiki, when they come in contact with it.

With all three of them in sync, two clones with seals in hand would seep above the ground, arms only as they attempt to phase the seals into the bodies of Kamui and his clones, solidifying the moment the tags would be embedded inside their legs. Due to the fact they are still in the Kamui (technique) state the clones would hopefully go unnoticed as it would be almost impossible for them to be detected. Their limbs would be invisible as they shift inside the body of all the Kamui, their chakra still hidden by being overlapped by solid objects, and their violent emotions subsided.

If successful, Kamui and crew would be trapped within the tags, unable to disarm them due to their quickness of activation and their location. By doing this, the clones would also cause physical disruption, damaging the feet and legs of all the Kamui, most likely destroying the clones and disabling the use of their feet and legs, separating the muscles and bones from each other, leaving the mud inside them.

Of course this would destroy the arms of the Earth Release Shadow Clones, but with their ability to reform, it would be easy for them to reshape themselves so that they regain their arms. The last two remaining Vale would emerge from the outskirts of the previous blast radius, one of them panting, watching from afar intensely, the other appearing opposite of him, on the other side of the blast zone. With the advantage of practically being ghosts, the bunshin would most likely be successful, especially considering they share the same emotional air as their progenitor, probably leaving even the Nine Tails unaware as they moment all their chakra would be recognizable, it would be to late.

Meanwhile...during the events whilst his opponent was contemplating his future objectives, the outcome for this would ultimately be his own folly since the former Hokage had more then enough eyes on the field and this meant while the original was scouring one part of the area, the others were doing their respective job by watching the field in front of them; including keeping an eye on the original for the 'supposed' signal for their transformation. As luck would have it, however...the technique of his had but one weakness, although their form was incorporeal; they could still be visible in the material plane, albeit not being composed of matter as their bodies were within the personal dimension of Vale.

Unfortunately for Vale's mud clones, the original had spotted the ghostly arms emerging from the ground and decided to take evasive action by utilizing the marked Kunai in such a way that he would evade the actions of the mud clones; this was done by linking his chakras through the flickering embodiment that had encased them previously. The mud clones' actions were moot as the trio entered a dimensional void and teleported to the marked location, what came next was disablement of his barrier and the transition from his version one into his version two state; his clones had also followed the original's actions another advanced state.

Within moments of narrowly evading the mud clones attack, Kamui and his own clones had successfully transformed into a more humanoid version of his respective tailed beast's chakras, their previous chakra veil dispersed within instant as a much darker red and black chakras enveloped their bodies but the results of these actions also had left three craters at the formerly unscathed patch of land that once held the marked Kunai. However due to the amount of energy it took to produce such a transformation, the kunai was destroyed in the aftermath of his actions; this wasn't a total loss for him as he suspected this would happen.
Kamui brought himself closer towards his clones as they each positioned themselves side by side, then both of his clones raised it's six tails into the air and slammed them onto the ground; the original opted to act as a sensor for the two, trying to accurately pinpoint Vale's location and direct his next line of attack toward his opponent's direction.

It was agreed upon by both the challenger and myself, that the amount of days this fight has been going far exceeded the 30-day limit as imposed in my rules and as such, this fight will now be judged as a whole by our current judge, Eric at this moment.

Currently waiting to give a final verdict till Kamui and Vale both give the go ahead regarding the final post.

[Repost at the request of the challenger]

Meanwhile...during the events whilst his opponent was contemplating his future objectives, the outcome for this would ultimately be his own folly since the former Hokage had more then enough eyes on the field and this meant while the original was scouring one part of the area, the others were doing their respective job by watching the field in front of them and covering all angles in this fight; including keeping an eye on the original for the 'supposed' signal for their transformation. As luck would have it, however...the technique of his had but one weakness, although their form was incorporeal; they could still be visible in the material plane, albeit not being composed of matter as their bodies were within the personal dimension of Vale.

Unfortunately for Vale's mud clones, the original had spotted the ghostly apparitions emerging from the ground and it was all a moment too soon for the man to react in time...or was it? He then decided the best possible way was to take evasive action by sacrificing his remaining eye in such a way that he would evade the actions of the mud clones; the initial actions of the mud clones would strike but upon further inspection the trio of Kamui's had faded into an illusion upon being physically injured and re-appeared right back into reality -- virtually unscathed from the conflict that had occurred. Luck was apparently on his side as Kamui's chakra shroud wasn't fast enough to detect the hidden threat underneath him, his best course of action at that moment was to use his forbidden technique to remove the boundaries between reality and illusion within his personal space; the man was such an adept user of his doujutsu that it enabled him to expand his boundaries to include that of his clones.

The mud clones' actions also became moot as the trio entered back into the realms of reality in their version-one state; the casted jutsu had appeared to disable his usage of Susano'o. Here forth  the transition from his version one into his version two state would go uninterrupted as his clones started following the original's actions of entering into another advanced state. After narrowly evading the mud clones attack, it would appear moments after this conflict that Kamui and his own clones had successfully transformed into a more humanoid version of his respective tailed beast's chakras, their previous chakra veil dispersed within instant as a much darker red and black chakras enveloped their bodies but the results of these actions also had left three craters at the formerly unscathed patch of land that once held the marked Kunai. However due to the amount of energy it took to produce such a transformation, the kunai was destroyed in the aftermath of his actions; this wasn't a total loss for him as he suspected this would happen.

Kamui brought himself closer towards his clones as they each positioned themselves side by side, then both of his clones raised it's six tails into the air and slammed them onto the ground; the original opted to act as a sensor for the two, trying to accurately sense Vale's location -- his blindness was the least of his worries at this given moment.
Kamui wanted to end this as soon as possible and by accurately sensing where Vale was, would allow him to direct his own future actions -- not too mention his clone's own actions towards Vale.

With just the flow of the fight in consideration, Kamui did pretty well for a one-eyed Uchiha at keeping Vale at bay. At the same time, however, Vale largely controlled the pace of the fight, always on the offensive, and almost always forcing Kamui to react to his initiation rather than the other way around. If the intent was to wear Vale down chakra-wise, Kamui vastly underestimated the kind of stamina that would be brought to bear here.

The last moves eventually ended up with Kamui using Izanagi; now blind, I imagine Kamui would have an even more difficult time facing off with Vale without his eyesight, which played a crucial role in his previous defense against Vale's intended sneak attack. Now he would have to rely solely on tailed beast negative emotion sensing and a potential resurge in sage mode in the future.

I would request one more round of posting just to see where it goes next now that the two are starting to wear a bit, but it is clear to me anyways that the two want this to be the end (plus the custom rules of the jinch in question) so I refrained from doing so.

I'm not really sure why Kamui reposted that very last time (I re-reading it even now, I don't see why he reposted). I think that was a critical mistake on his part at this stage of the fight, because ultimately, he changed up his tactics entirely; rather than using hiraishin to evade, he used izanagi to "tank" it so's to speak.

Modifying the entire post to save yourself or completely change up strategy is an automatic disqualification from the match.

Kamui had to repost considerably more times than Vale, and that too is a factor in my final decision.

I find the victor of the match to be Vale. I felt that he kept the flow of the battle consistently going (himself being the initiator of almost all offensive action), had fewer reposts, and had the match continued, I feel Vale would have been more likely to have beaten Kamui post-Izanagi.
