France doesn't own the internet  :-x they can't decide who can and can't use it. Plus people will just go to friend's houses and other places >.>

The French could always go outside the borders, download it, save the files on a few flash drives, and then come back. .~.

Now if they did something like this in America, there would be utter chaos, as at least 95% of the people that have internet access illegally download something from one client or another.
The other 5%:
A. Are good, law-abiding people (which aren't any fun >,>)
B. Don't know how to (yes, a few people have asked me how to install limewire... a program that I no longer use due to it being a P2P.)

and from what I hear, the 3 strikes are optional, so you could get your internet taken away on the first time

you could jack internet from your neighbor, and get your neighbor busted

how do they know that you're not downloading a large legal file instead of a large illegal file?

and when i didnt know how to get limewire i asked >_>; (my sister installed it the first time, so the second time i needed to know where to get it >>; )

also the law abbiding people suck <<

cuz i have a few friends wtih alot of money who can afford to buy everything off of iTunes.... but they still do other illegal stuff XD

on Wi-fi you can use your neighbor's internet &lt;_&lt;; its not illegal...

no extra charges either ._.
