Okay, this is it.

I just logged on today, and I dont log on very much onto this site alot.

Apperently, someone hacked my account, and sent messages, and joined another clan on it. Just a couple of days ago, my freind got all of her acocunts hacked by Sharuto.

Seriously, I'm sick of it, and I think something should be done.

Hackers are the effect. The cause=unsafe passwords. I'm pretty sure Neji said awhile ago that it's basically impossible to hack. The "hacking" that goes on is people guessing passwords.

I suggest making a password seriously impossible to figure out. As stated before, I'm sure, is to not make small passwords, or passwords with your name within them. That's obvious though.

First, if you found a way provide the  idea and a fix if possible =)
Secondly, I do not think so except if you have access to the server files itself - and then you don't need to hack any passwords anymore.

If somebody got in an account, you can be fairly sure they used your password. They also have max. 10 tries to get in until they are banned a day...
so, the password was either known or:

-the charname itself
-the first name of the player
-other very guessable things

Haven't tried it, it would take a long time, very hard to do, and all the time and effort that would need to be put into doing it would be better used to make a good character.

was that the reason <neo> was destroyed? and yea i doubt it was a hack because a lot of people's passwords been floating around so basicly if you dont tell any one next time your safe

Those affairs don't really need to be brought up here in the forums.

I think she gets the point now. Keep your password safe (don't tell anyone, make sure it doesn't include your name, etc) and your account will stay safe.
