Just idea that came to me as looking at requests for Sage Mode, plus this phrase on the SL Wiki under CS

Curse Seal on SL

There are currently 2 stages, each is related to the stage in the original series but different in how you get and what you can do with it.

Note that also there are currently no subtypes, but this might change.

So what if we redo them both, make the SST Sage Mode, ie SST could be the first stage like Ero Sannin was at, and when you train to get the full version that is the SSTE.
Each step could have certain skills attached which relate to Sage Mode as well.
The Same with the CS, have the different subtypes which could have different effects in relation to them, and for CS2 have skills related to that.
Just my thoughts on the subject.

I like the idea, but when I started thinking about an SST-sage mode switch, I thought that it's too game-changing. Now that everyone is collecting SST ink and has SSTE's, it'd be horrible to undo all of that.

I don't know how to implement sage mode without replacing something, though, as I think it's something evil shouldn't really have. Not that I'd mind having it. >_>

I really like this idea. Because it's actually fits in with everything Naruto.

Well it could just be a name change, or you could add things with it, same with CS.

So my question would be, if a player has SSTE will they automatically have "Perfect Sage mode" or whatever it will be called?

To be honest, I wouldn't mind if everybody who has the SST, SSTE, CS, CS2 had it taken away and it was all reset and reworked.
It would definitely start a spark of activity.

Well in my views, the steps between SST and SSTE (The seven stars) are like you progressing from Imperfect to Perfect.

But that would be funny, make everyone lose it, not sure if they'd have to, but it would spark activity already

We don't mind losing it, but the people who took all the steps to getting SSTE would be rightfully pissed off. And the SST events just don't seem changeable to sage mode, which would be obtained like the CS and CS2.

Good point, maybe they come across an event in the forest that makes them pass out (Because of a frog did something)
they wake up without the seal and instead ____

Not very good, but it thin it gets the point across.

I dunno, I'd find that obnoxious and it'd give major event spoilers if anything was ever implemented.

Now I like this. It is an easy ans quick way to change the SST to Sage Mode.
