Treasure?

Alright, heres the event, its random, and happens while you search in the forest for something to kill. Here goes
As you walk around the forest, you find a young child looking at the ground holding a piece of paper.
" Hey, what are you looking at?" You inquire
The child looks up with a frown on his face." A treasure map I found, but I cant make heads or tails of this thing, Hey? How about I sell this to you, I swear its a real treasure map.
You think about buying the map, but can you really trust a child

Choice 1. Buy the map(2 gems, and 1 turn)
Choice 2. walk away.
Results for choice 1.
Deciding to trust the child, you search for the treasure, and to your luck, you find 4 gems
Result 2
Deciding to trust the child, you search for the treasure, and to your luck, you find 3000 gold
Result 3
Deciding to trust the child, you search for the treasure, and too bad, you find nothing but junk
Result 4
Deciding to trust the child, you search for the treasure, and too bad, It lead you right to the land of shades, How did you end up here.
Result 5
Deciding to trust the child, you search for the treasure, UH-OH it seems someone is guarding the treasure.(Fight treasure guard and get one of the before mentioned results

So what do you think, good, bad, I really thought this out........I think

A little bit more bad outcomes would make it good.

This is a great idea. As Alharaam said, a little more bad outcomes to balance with the good outcomes and then it'd be perfect.

Maybe a zombie popping out to kill you would be a little better than just teleportation.

How about making them like travels, you have to kill things along the way for a certain amount of turns.
Cheap map:(2 gems) You get led around for more turns and you have to kill more creatures.
Less expensive map:(2 gems, 1500 gold) You use less turns and have to kill less creatures.
Expensive:(3 gems, 2000 gold) You use a minimal amount of turns and only meet a few creatures.

Of course the reward would have to be increased.

You can do it.

but more options than 5... it's a bit... well.

and we should make it alignment-based... helping will make you more good, ignoring bad...

also an option to "push the girl aside" for the evil ones.

instant-death is bad... and should be limited to the deadinside event. but a fight would be OK.

The price is OK with the general outcomes.

The main point: we need a good portion of text.. more than 1-2 lines "you find xyz" is a bit ... short.

You can do that... nice would be a combi-event (like the lady-penguin) --> village event to buy the map --> forest event with the outcomes (you have to adjust the chances --> foresteventchance >0 only if you have a map)
