Music in your bio.

I was wondering if possibly you could put music in your bio...This would be a point thing...Kinda like avatars.
Of course all music would have to be screened...But it's just a question...

I thought about it before... but then I also thought about the site constantly lagging and whatnot because of it.

Think about it, if music is on one page, more people are going to want it on their pages. That's like 4000 something people. >>

Well that's why we make it a point thing...So that only certain people can have it.
And it would only be in the bio...So...I think that should be better...Instead of you hearing it everywhere.

i usually have my speakers muted anyway :P
but yeah, it would lag the game considerably...and it lags enough for me as it is (i constantly have azerus donwloading manga n' stuff)

Music in the bio. So this means that Baluski and Neji would have to listen through 3 min.(possibly longer, there are some 10 minute songs out there) of music to see if it's safe, as opposed to a seconds glance at a picture to see if it is safe.

How about making your personal website a link that opens the browser's media player and plays the song you want. This is an alternative, of course.

 :) there is a reason why the game has no sound:
it's a passive game, you don't expect sound... so if you play for 3h as newbie.. and then hit a bio where music *is* played... you might have your speakers turned on, and somebody decided to put a nasty speech in it... and you, being at a library comp (or so) get a somewhat red face... ;)

Also, the point about  validation is right... as about the filesize. I would have to upload that stuff to my site, and even if not, the biopages would take some time to load.

I the game would be an active client-server game... even then it would need to refresh new music ( I don't think even WoW has own music, they store all graphics on the players comp).

I listen to music while I play.
Try that instead.
Better that way then having some music in the bio that would lag the site. :]
