To become a genin you will need to play the game more, and you will need to read the FAQs.

You will not be able to use your skill points currently, because that feature is still being worked on.

My favorite question. There are so many ways to become genin. But here is my favorite way:
To become a genin you must sacrafice your soul and pay Taumaster all your money. First take the knife, and stab yourself continuously, then donate every cent you have to Taumaster. Taumaster is the whole key, so don't leave that part out. ^_^ And that is how you ecome a genin.
