K so i probably wont get any sort of helpful answer but here goes. Ive read time and time again that the seven star tattoo is the good alignment version of the curse seal, yet like 95% of the time it says that dark energy blah blah blah, then i die. so basically my question is why is the "good guy" power-up emitting dark energy and killing me? or is this like the equivalent of the high fail rate ive also heard about of the curse seal?

I believe that it is the equivalent. Both are hard to get.

Might be related to your alignment. But, I believe it's just how the event is.

When he emits Dark Energy, you fail.
When he emits Light/Good energy, you get it.

Yes, but you can't use it.
Reverse goes for CS.
