I think that Pein takes dead bodies and turns them into bodies for him to use. That's why he took Itachi's body, and for some reason,  the new summoning body reminds me a lot of Rin. >>  Just my crazyyyyy theory!

Actually, MADARA took Itachi's body because he had to keep Itachi's eyes just incase Sasuke wanted to use them to gain EMS. Also, that body couldn't be Rin as Rin would be about Kakashi's age and that body's quite young.

i think that rock lee's fighting style should be really effective against pein due to the fact that pein has to control all of those bodies at the same time.
