EDIT: I just realized something. That lineage stuff sounds funny to me. I thought Sharingan was evolved from Byakugan unless that belief has been false this whole time. >.>

That was the rumor wasn't it? I think Kakashi worded it like that or something. I still want to know where it fits in, I'm sure the Byakugan has some hidden secrets.

Actually I just thought of something that can still make the rumor possibly true.
The Uchiha Clan probably didnt have Sharingan in the beginning. After mating with some Hyuuga members, the offsprings were born with some kind of eye mutation. And that eye mutation gave birth to Sharingan. Soon the offsprings, who are now adults, go back to mating with Uchiha members and soon the Sharingan trait remained permanent in their genes.

Sharingan's already broken enough. Don't think it'll have any more tricks though. Still, Mokuton > Sharingan.

The new sharingan Sasuke has.

Could just be his mangekyo, could be something new.

Although the sharingan is pretty broken as it is.
