Okay, so here is another new idea I had, have another option for players who may not want to reset.
In this players could learn secret jutsu, much like the current Rasengan, but it could be restricted to people whole have no resets, or maybe just one even.

Some ideas for these Jutsu sets:
-Extended Rasengan,
-Chidori,
-Hiraishin,
-Oro/Kabuto's Snake Abilities,
-Clan Jutsus, (Inuzuka, Aburame, Yamanaka, Nara, and Akimichi.)
-Puppets.

So here is the proposed run down, you have events where you can encounter someone, and you start the long training process, having to complete certain tasks, meet certain requirements, and so.

So an example, to start in the Nara clan, you meet one of the clan members, and go through a series tests, such as Intelligence, also the event may only take place in Konoha. Once you unlock the first level, you can choose 'Nara Skills' or something as your Speciality, but it only has a basic move. After that you have to keep training and slowly you can obtain more Jutsu to use.

I was just thinking this could be a way to include some of these cool Skills in game, without letting people get a heap of extra skills built up so they're some all powerful Ninja. I mean just one of these max, plus maybe a KG with it would be enough in my opinion.

Sounds pretty cool. But what about the ones who already have the rasengan but want to learn the other techniques (if they come out)?  Would there be an option to 'forget' the technique you have already spent time learning?

Yeah that is a good Question, what happens to those who already have the Razzy. I guess just for the sake of it we could let them keep it, cause it's unfair to just take it, especially if they already have resets.
But yeah, an option like forgetting it otherwise could work.
And these things would be rare, just like Rasengan is now.

We level to 80 to receive boons in order to empower us because we make that sacrifice of starting anew; you're advocating disregarding a sacrifice to obtain abilities just because one invests time in a single dragon kill if they get lucky to encounter this.

Not so much, this is just another way to obtain a 'boon.' And on that, mostly they wont be as powerful as a Reset, especially at first,
Also they aren't meant to be easy to obtain, how many people have the Rasengan? Not many?
This is just a different way, players can either kill and reset multiple times, or they can try and obtain one of these, which wont be easy, and even after all that hard work they still on have the basics of one of these 'Advanced Specialities.' So to get the full power out of it, it would be like having to obtain the Rasengan multiple times.
It's not like you just sit there and *Poof* Suddenly you have the equivalent to a KG with no cost, these would still have a cost, just a much different cost.
