There were a few people who knew why Moenkopi hated Raiton, though who they were or where they were these days was anyone's guess. But it was all the fault of her Sensei, Triple Blitz. As part of her training he would shoot lighting at her from little balls of it that danced across the end of his fingertips. It was not because she had not defenses against it, it was just because she earned each and everyone she possessed the hard way.

At the very instant he began gathering his lightning she tasted metal in her mouth and knew he was going to be a total bastard. She laughed thinking it was about time!

But like someone who had been abused, her flinch reflex was over active in the presence of her assailant; this was namely Raiton. So even as she felt and thought and took time to be amused, she was reacting to save her life. The water spout rained salt as she forced her attack to become Deionized. Without the salts and ions present to produce the necessary ion /electron exchange that acts as a carrier of the charge through the water, her jutsu would no longer conduct Raiton and she would not be fried. Still, it expended quite a bit of chakra from her to force this reaction to occur instantaneously. She would not be able to repeat that performance again.

Disappointing, if not disgusting even, as he'd land now with quite a splat to the muddy ground. At least the earth was no longer heaving like a stormy sea? It didn't seem much a comfort, for his rising temper was lifting his body heat along too, to such degrees steam was starting to rise around his feet.

Grumbling he'd get about striding forward, biting the same thumb again with a similar swiping motion as a follow-up as well, only this time what appeared a daggertail was produced to his right hand.

Since she hadn't skittered, he did so now instead, picking up speed from a brisk jog to a sprint her way.

Super-Cool Sabu was insulted by the straight jab aimed at him. He was a SWORDSMAN. That was like the easiest maneuver to parry, especially when parrying flesh. That short-sword was a simple swing away from blocking the Rasengan. So here's what happened:

Sabu swung the sword diagonally with his right hand towards the Rasengan arm as it came at him, using the flat side of the blade to deflect Koji's arm to Sabu's right. He didn't want to cut off Koji's arm then take the Rasengan to the face as it flew towards him. Sabu couldn't just halt his momentum, but he could use it. As the cold metal would push Koji's arm out of the way, Sabu would just angle the point towards the Raikage's chest and keep on keeping on, likely running him through with it.

This was a very basic parry Sabu had created, called the Double-Point Reverse. When running at someone, to counter a basic stab was pretty crucial for any swordsman, especially Sabu who was the king of running hastily & blindly towards things. So this reaction was instinctual, like wincing or shivering. He wouldn't even know what he was doing until he was attempting to put his blade in cutie-pie Koji's spine.

This was why Koji had two Rasengans for he knew the first would be either blocked or dodged. So when Sabu blocked the first one by simply moving his arm in the other direction, his second Rasengan from his other hand comes flying forward directly in the path of his blade.

The raw strength of his Rasengan would collide with the tip of Sabu's blade and without any effort would grind away at the blade (even likely shattered it) then send it backwards with increased force and thus pushing Sabu backwards with it.

In motion, his arm that was dashed aside swung around to his pouch to pull out a single two-pronged kunai with a Hiraishin seal placed on the hilt.

She cocked her head to the right slightly confused. He didn't look like he was having fun at all. Now she knew CJ hated to get wet but she thought Warren would kind of dig it. She shrugged and grins as if to say, oh well.

No matter, he was coming for her and she set her weight evenly between her feet, her katana still at her side. Mmmm, this was gonna be good!
