Academy students who say that don't even notice the differences in rank usually and just say that to get a little attention.  It's no big deal.  I myself was a foolish academy student once.

They'll learn quickly what their role is

thats a little harsh but just let them off easily they will grow out of it once they are genins
because we "were" like that once

and i'm sober as cold as you are Lebis...i'm totally clueless when i first came in here and treated like a dog...but now that i'm almost to be Chuunin in the next umm 3 level...i'd be treated fairly...

I was pretty quiet as an Academy Student, too...never tried to start a fight, never put on the holier-than-thou act, never went after more powerful players...I was too scared of dying ._. And the ONE time I was drunk and discovered that oh noes, it screws up the way I talk, I sat quietly in the corner, never talking to anyone, for the next few minutes until the new day started.

The only thing I thought about when i was an acad is to get to purple chuunin quickly... 8D
I know.. chuunin is a low ranking but there were much less chuunins above when i just started 8D

Academy Students these days *sighs* we all been there and done that and those AS just reflect of me when i came in here...senseless on whats going on...too many question not answered but sometimes you just have to find out yourself what is out there and just like Naruto...stubborn, and never gave up on what he want to achieve [of becoming the best and to become a Hokage of course]
