Bankai is the Final Release in Bleach. Anyway I haven't heard of a Bankai event. Anyway that seems more like something that would be on the rumored Bleach server.

Well this game does have some bleach references in it so maybe it was for the bleach fans. Not to mention the characters with bleach-like characters.
