Session Timeout
« on: July 10, 2007, 05:02:11 AM »

I'm not really sure if anything can be done about this, but my session seems to timeout after about 5-10 minutes. Its annoying to get logged off this way, because you may not have been in your dweling and such. But I know that this might just be the server and nothing can be done. But is there any way the session could be lengthened?l

The session timeout should just take a bit longer. Not disabled

The time - out should be disabled, I get slaid every time I have to do chores and all my gold is in hand and then I lose money for my weapon, and armor!

right and then it would be impossible to get in because most peopel forget to click log out and just close the browser, not logging you out o.o
So really, get everything done and then do anything else you need....

ehhh, I guess... but it should at least be extended, my mom is not the patient kind of person, nor the nicest, so I have to do chores right away.

5 minutes.

why? when the server is full, and people simply let themselves time out...

you will have to wait 20 minutes to get in
 :) you want that?

seriously, i think the time is perfect as it is now.
if you're gonna stay away from the computer for some time, just log off.
anyway, it's not so terrible to log back in once the session timed out

I haven't had to wait because of a full server for months now
*Thanks Neji for moving it up*

Even though I do get distracted easily now and I time out on my alt a lot and would sometimes like a longer session of idleness... I completely laugh at Ulrich's attempt at a 15 - 25 minute time out.

You should know when you can play and when you can't. If you're getting distracted, just log out.

The more people time out, the more people there are to slay in the fields. ;)

It's a natural food chain, let it linger.
