power converter ._.
« on: August 28, 2007, 02:52:26 PM »

*cough* so anyways... I recently found some kind of plug converter... I'm not sure if it is just a plug converter or a power converter though x.x

I'm not sure it will work, I'm not gonna get another psp if something bad happens >.>;;

it works for this laptop I'm using but I'm still not sure cause my sister (like waayyyy older and knows this kind of stuff.. I think) says that the laptop has like... something to change it ._.

the input voltage on the psp and the laptop is the same but the output is like 10 voltage apart so I'm still not sure x.x

maybe I'm just being paranoid though ._.

(long story short: some type of converter found. not sure if it works on psp. works for a laptop with same voltage stuff except for output. need help T.T)

eastern countries normally use 220 voltage whereas america uses 110 voltage for most items (eh according to news about something)

most converters will take the 220 and make it 110 or vice versa or even if its a different amount ._.

if it doesnt convert it to EXACTLY the amount of the voltage needed for the power/ charger cord then dont even attempt. itll cause the battery to over heat/over charge and melt and if its too little the battery life will drain quickly and be destroyed >>

hey a guys gotta know tihs stuff if hes gonna mess with it =P

I'd do it because you could hopefully fry the battery and go out and get yourself a DS. =)

Really? I'd use a PSP for a paper weight while getting immersed in a DS game. It's much more fun when you have an R4DS with 40+ games on it. =)
