I think, that you should have to enter your birthday on your profile, and on your birthday you should get a buff, or a present or something. It would be awesome, Neji does stuff for his birthday, so why not the rest of us?

Neji does fun stuff for his birthday because he's the almighty creator of SL. xD  But besides that, the idea sounds fun, although I don't think it should be that big a present.  Perhaps 1000 gold, 1 gem, and a 50 round, super small percentage attack/defense buff.

But I don't know if this would take a lot of time to make happen.

.... well as long as you can't change it, it works perfectly >.>

but I don't know, I would guess like you get a teddy bear from neji- wait, neji would never do that...
from a random person ssaying happy birthday >.>

Putting in one's birthday is an option for the forum, but the forum is an seperate entity from the game.  About a quarter of the people in the forum have a different name than their playing name, on top of that we are talking about a buff for each person's character.  Some people have nearly 5 accounts a piece, that's really a lot of excessive buffs and extras being thrown around.
I just think we should be happy when we receive stuff from Neji when the system goes down for a long time, or when we reach donation goals. Figuring out ways to gain something for nothing won't be given.
Having people know your birthday is nice, the best gesture is when someone across the globe or nation says, "Happy Birthday" to you because they see your name on the forum birthday list.

Well...as long as you don't annoy people I see no problem to that idea.

As to this idea I say no.

1. People have alts and then could be more rewards for some.
2. What if they change their birthdays?
3. There are probably plenty of good items you can get in this game just by playing it =D.

well, it probably would have to be when you register , and not changed after that.plus , if the present is geared towards that one character then there is no chance of him taking advantage of it. who knows though, its all up to neji in the end.
