Errr... yes.

5 seconds while a server backup is taking place is GREAT.

2 seconds can happen if 190 people click at the same time... =)

calculate: 500 queries / second is my maximum. a page costs 30-70 queries each user. if 100 users click the very same second, I have 7000 queries to do. with 500 queries/sec, that takes ...? yes, 14 seconds for the poor guy at the end of the line :-/

Also, I may say that SOME areas in the game are simply slower, because the queries are nasty.

I asked about *an average*
I cannot guarantee you "blink and the next page is there" ^^ I asked for a comparison to BEFORE. Take 24h and your usual times to see how it works out.

You can use a CRAY supercomputer. If you use a dial-up, the pages will always be slow :-/

like trying to pull an ocean through a a 2 inch pipe..

hm. to me it is very fast most of the time. but sometimes it's ridiculous slow (Page gen: 46.134s / 57 queries (46.053s), Ave: 0.13s - 10264.651/78887) for a few clicks.

please always post the thing I mentioned in the right lower corner :(

so I can see if it's the database server OR the php server.

you can also do an MTR (mentioned on the forum) to give me a route if necessary.
