Has anyone gotten a pm about Naruto Chronicles? I haven't registered, but the log-in screen looks exactly like SL. Is that... allowed? O_o I know the LotGD style is kind of generic format, but it seems like a shady knockoff.

Yes, they are one of the many SL knock-offs that have risen because of SL's popularity. I'm guessing from the amount of advertisers that there is some kind of reward from getting people form here to come over there. And it looks exactly like SL because they steal a lot of the skins we have here.

Why bother.

If they are any good, they'll manage to evolve.

If not, and if pages do massive advertising by themselves or are asking users to that is usually the case, then they will shut down sooner or later.
