Forest is different, Route 2 extends beyond the forest though, so the little patch by Pewter is a no catch zone if you got one from before Viridian Forest.

I put Peter in the cemetary just for that reason.

Lulz, I only play on the train, so I take forever. I spent the trip to Uni just grinding Giggles and Flappy.
Flappy is level 9, and Giggles 12.

You seriously should have some level 20 pokemon by now.

And get a Mankey. They're useful against Brock once they learn Karate Chop and use Low Kick on the Onix.
