Oh okay, well I haven't rooted mine, cause it isn't that smart. Got a Nokia E63 at the moment until I get a job and can get something a bit better.

I've only had it for a few days, so I haven't even thought about jailbreaking it yet. Tried to jailbreak my iPod touch a while ago but the jailbreaking programs weren't up to date.

I don't know how to root my Evo, or what it does.

If it's mainly for being able to use it for stuff like wifi hotspot, I've got excellent wifi, and a hardline in my dorm. Wifi all over campus too.

I have yet to use data. In a Wifi zone 90% of the time. >_>


The fact that I'm going to college next to D.C. that also has Wifi across campus makes me wonder about dropping to the 200 MB plan.
