Anywho.

I like scout, but reload is too slow at times.

I dominated a demoman, sniper, and a pyro.

You shouldn't be taking on more than one person at a time unless they're very weak or a pair of snipers or something. Get the pick, hide, reload, and then continue the onslaught. Whenever I killed you instead of moving forward I went in a circle, which gave me time to reload and pick up health/ammo before making another assault.

And yeah, demomen are really satisfying to kill because it's not too hard but they're dangerous if they see you coming. Snipers are the easiest to wreck, and pyros can be easy if dealt with correctly but are one of the top threats to a scout (along with soldier, heavies and sometimes other scouts). If you fight them in a tunnel you're usually screwed unless they're W+M1 scrubs. Then you backpedal with your pistol.

I love the pistol.

Headshotted an approaching Pyro, and saved myself.

I had no choice, since they were taking our control point, and I had no one else with me.

I followed a scout, waited til he was reloading, and took him out though.

Protip: the only weapons that give bonus damage for headshots are the sniper rifles and Ambassador, so always aim at the body. Larger target.

I didn't aim for the head, I was moving back fast enough for my last shot to him to be a headshot, because of differing elevation and whatnot.

Moar liek the pistol's wildly inaccurate sway.

It's a pain in the ass trying to snipe with it. Scout doesn't really have any long-range weapons.

With that being said, you can still spray from a distance to drop 8 damage into people or sentry guns. With any luck, said person will have OCD like me and waste a healthkit their teammate needs. That or they're retreating and the 8 damage actually finishes them.

I was at this one map where all the enemies had to come through two tunnels to get to the points, and I just sprayed the entrance, retreated, sprayed other entrance.

Got one kill.

Then, when we were attacking, the lined the tunnels with sentry guns...

I prefer defensive scout, actually. Offense often turns into a sentry stall, requiring a switch to demo or spy. This is because most pubs are too dumb for medics to uber someone that kills the nests.

I had to go Heavy, and took down three sentries.

Luckily, two were being remote controlled, so I managed to take them out with relatively little damage.

Third one left me with like... 2 health, so I just let someone kill me since the medic was an idiot, then went back to scouting.
