I call the moon...I'll add that to the map ASAP.

One cannot just, claim the moon.
America did it, and we've been on top of the world ever since. Now it's simply a race to see who can get to it first and stick their flag in it, while avoiding the complications of the vacuum of space with the limited shinobi technology we have. Luckily, my village is already working on a giant metal catapult to launch a wood clone of yours-truly straight for the moon.

America set a flag on there, they didn't really "claim" it. Though, considering that Europeans claimed land in the Americas before actually fortifying it, I suppose that reasoning falls flat in the face of what you can and can't claim in lands unknown.

Meh... Still, with all the Rinnegan users we have, the moon could be brought from space. Would save you a lot of technical trouble.

Actually, Madara could only summon the Gedo Mazo from the moon, which was supposed to be it's prison made from a grand Chibaku Tensei.

But you do bring up a good point. Why not just commission someone with enough chakra to make your own moon? This would also bring to question the massive craters that would appear from making artificial moons.

Maybe I'll just modify my airship and construct a colony there inside a crystal castle.

I believe it would be easier if we took the map that's here and modify it as needed using Inkscape, Adobe Illustrator or another Scale Vector Graphic editing equivalent program. After playing with it a little, it's pretty easy to edit, if you know how to work Inkscape. It's really just point and click for changing region colors and such.

It is pretty easy after all.
Yumei please.

It's a test map, so I only worked on some larger-scale details for this. Lands/Countries are color-coded for territorial purposes.

The world sure is congested.

Guess I'll go isolate myself on the moon then.

Here's a test of what a close-up for a region/territory/country would be.

http://narutoprofile.wikia.com/wiki/File:Land_of_Fire_Map_Test.svg

These will serve as more detailed maps for regions, so the world map won't be a cluttered mess or constantly updated and replaced.

Sorry for the double post, but I'm bumping this up to let people know that a complete and somewhat up-to-date map has been made.
